"But you're always cute!" Tielle said with a bit of a silly tone in her voice as she proceeded to tickle Isabella briefly.

After about an hour, Samantha woke up, a little confused why she was in Tielle's bed, but didn't care. She laid awake, and breathed quietly. She didn't know if she should head downstairs yet... but she needed to use the bathroom.

With a sigh, she got up and went into the bathroom, closing the door and taking her time using the potty. She waited a couple minutes on the porcelain seat after she had finished relieving herself before getting up and flushing. She knew the sound of the toilet running would draw attention to her being awake, so she sadly went back into Tielle's bedroom and sat quietly on the bed, waiting for someone to come up for her.

As Samantha expected, Natalie came up ten minutes later. She entered the room, wearing a warm smile for her daughter. She went up to her and kissed her forehead. "How's my precious baby girl doing?"

Samantha shivered, but relaxed a bit when Tielle came in soon afterward. "I-I'm okay... I just was really tired and I must have fallen asleep..."

Natalie grabbed Samantha's hands, sensing Samantha was a bit scared. "You really scared your mommy, you know," she said gently. "I even cried when I couldn't find you."

"I... I know... I was really scared when I couldn't find you again either. I thought you were right behind me and then... you were lost. I'm glad I found that nice police lady, or else I would have just been so very upset and alone..."

She hugged her mother and kissed her cheek. "I'm sorry I made you cry mommy... and I'm so sorry I scared you like that... I don't know why I behaved like that... it was so stupid of me."

Natalie hugged her girl tightly before pulled back and looking her in the eyes. "You're right, it was stupid. That's why Mommy... has to give you a very strict punishment."

Samantha's eyes began to water, but she nodded firmly. "I know Mommy. I was expecting this from the minute I lost you... and I really deserve it. Just... don't hate me, okay?"
