A couple weeks past and everyone adjusted to having a new family member relatively well, even though Kairis relationship to Carlas parents still remained cold. Kairi had somewhat gotten used to having a family now. Having a friend was nice and let her have someone who she could always talk to, even if having a mom and dad was still a little strange for her. Kairi didn’t really see what the big deal was, and still didn’t understand it as she was strolling through the streets to head back home.
