Considering the size and overall charm of Akari's adorably ample ass, no one could exactly blame Rei if he were to ever go ahead of either explain or even 'show' what he means when he joked about spanking the perfectly proportioned posterior of the tights wearing beauty who seemed so concerned that she went out of her way to grab ahold of one of Rei's hands so she could remind him to stay safe.

'I’ll be fine, I promise'

For some reason the sound of the male making his promise did make curvaceously chubby cutie feel warm inside as she even smile before looking curious about him having captured Pokemon 'plenty of times before'. Not that she could speak up about this as the raven haired girl instead nervously shiver as she could spot a Bidoof waddling by not too far behind Rei.

Rei was happy to see her smile, though when she grew nervous he wondered what was wrong. After turning around, he saw it. A Bidoof was in the area, seemingly ignoring them while it waddled around. Well this would be incredibly easy, Bidoof’s were very passive after all. This one probably wouldn’t attack him even if he walked up to it. Of course it would be easier to sneak up on it so as to catch it by surprise. After giving Akari one last smile, he would run off towards the Pokémon before hiding in some grass before sneaking up and tossing a Pokeball at the Bidoof, almost immediately catching it.

With something as passive and practically harmless as a Bidoof being able to cause Akari to shiver so potentially fearfully...maybe she does indeed possess some kind of fear towards Pokemon? Though the Bidoof looks like it ain't paying attention to anything as Rei wouldn't need much to catch the Normal type by surprise. Though that still doesn't stop Akari from looking concern when the male runs off to hide in some rather useful grass. More than useful enough for the ball to collide with the Bidoof with no trouble at all and successfully catching it.

"Good jo-" the raven haired beauty tried to say in the direction of the boy she was trying to watch over...only to be interrupted by the squawk of a Starly and immediately the frightened girl dives down and actually covers her head in fear as the Flying type happens to flap its wings nearby her.

Well that was easy, on to the next two. As Akari went to congratulate him, he would turn around and hear a Starly’s cry. Rei saw her immediately cower in fear and had to keep from laughing so as not to embarrass her. “Don’t worry, I’ve got it,” he said, going after the bird Pokémon. It would start to run away, throw as he threw a Pokeball at it, he would catch it. Alright that’s two. Rei would pocket his new companion before going over to Akari, brushing down as he patted her back.

“Hey, are you okay? I caught the Starly, you can get up now,” Rei told her, gently rubbing her back as he did so.

It probably would be embarrassing for children in Rei's own time to show such cowardice towards two rather passive Pokemon. So passive in fact that it might be theorised that Cyllene might've picked these Pokemon on purpose. Especially when the Starly tried to run away...only to be captured almost as easily as the Bidoof. However the moment the male turns his attention back to the girl who accompanied him, he could possibly feel her shivering when he pat and rub her back.

'Hey, are you okay? I caught the Starly, you can get up now'

"I-I-I-Is i-it safe?" Akari actually sniffle out her question, barely lifting up head up enough to reveal that her eyes are actually beginning to water up.

When the girl finally lifted her head up again, he was shocked to see her eyes were beginning to water. Was she really that terrified of Pokemon? Rei nodded at her question, starting to help her up while keeping close to her as a way to let her know there was nothing to worry about. “Yeah its safe now, don’t worry, nothing’s going to hurt you,” he told her, moving a thumb up to wipe at her tears.

“Hey, how about we take a break right now and head back to the camp?” he suggested. While he could certainly go out to catch the last Pokemon right now, he didn’t want Akari to freak out, especially given Shinx’s were a bit more aggressive than those last two Pokemon were. “We could sit down for a while and have lunch before we go out again, what do you say?”

At first Akari was hostile and weary of Rei...but now...she is practically leaning into the male as he helps her up to her feet after assuring her that she is indeed safe. Though being close to Rei does indeed feel comforting to the big bottomed beauty as she doesn't stop the male from wiping the tears off her face. Considering that Shinx can be aggressive and are Electric types...it could be possible it was a Shinx that may have Thundershocked Akari earlier in the day, which itself could explain why the raven haired beauty has been so weary of being in these Fieldlands.

'Hey, how about we take a break right now and head back to the camp?'

So maybe this break could be helpful for Akari, even if it'll delay Rei's attempt to complete this supposedly harsh trial. "I-I wouldn't say n-no to sitting down...an-and some lunch...but w-won't that get in y-your way?" the curvaceously chubby cutie couldn't help but say in concern for the male, though not showing any sign of resistance if Rei does decide to take the adorable spankable woman back towards the campsite.

“It’ll be fine,” Rei promised her as he took her head and started to lead her back. While he would have to wait even longer to catch the last Pokémon, he wasn’t bothered by that at all. All he was concerned with now was making sure Akari was comfortable and back to normal. Besides, this could give them some time to help her make some progress on getting over her fear of pokémon with help from the ones he just caught.

Once they had made it back, he would take Akari towards the tent so the two could sit down and talk. It wasn’t exactly luxurious or anything like that, but it was comfortable which was all that mattered.

Though much more experienced with her homeland of Hisui, Akari's hand feels almost porcelain like with how delicate and fragile it feels in Rei's own as there was no resistance stopping him from leading the big bottomed beauty back to the camp. If anything the fact that Rei took her into one of the tents instead of simply stopping at the camp easily allows the two complete privacy from the one person keeping guard as the raven haired girl seem to sit down very close to the male she hasn't let go of the hand of.

"I know you said it's fine but...sorry," Akari softly brought out, unaware of how much more luxurious things could be in the future especially compared to this tent...but at least the pair are alone and the cosy atmosphere inside might help the tights wearing woman feel more comfortable not only around Rei but also with any kind of subject he might want to discuss.

Once they were inside the tent, Rei realized Akari was still holding his hand even after he had loosened his grip. A faint blush came to his cheeks, but he ignored it while giving her a smile. “Like I said, it’s alright,” he said. “If you’re really sorry how about you make it up to me?” Of course he was mostly joking, judging by his tone. He wasn’t upset in the slightest so there wasn’t anything his new teammate had to worry about.
