Jason Black opened his house door with his keys in hand as he approached his car door.It was 5:30 in the morning, but it didnt matter to Jason since he usually didnt sleep a full night.It had been a long shift last night and he was gonna go on a vacation within the next week.He unlocked his car and got in.Starting the ignition he drove down the street and toward the old 4 story hospital that was sitting infront of the forest.He parked and walked inside to clock in."Good morning Jason."The Receptionist smiled as he walked by and into the two double doors.Jason stopped at the nurse's station and grabbed a clipboard reading it over carefully.He picked up a syringe and some pills and administrated them to the patients till he got down to a name on the list."Rafe Faolan"He walked to room 406 and knocked on the door."Mr. Faolan?"

Being incarcerated, and yes that was precisely the way that he was thinking of it, in the hospital was not Rafe's ideal way of spending his time. It wasn't as though he had much of a choice in the matter however, apparently he needed to be here for an extended period of time and since he didn't actually want to die, at least not anymore, he was resigned to his fate.

Somewhat anyway.

He was half asleep when he heard a knock on his door and that gained a groan from the lithe young man. It was impossibly hard to sleep while in the hospital because people were constantly harassing him for one reason or another.

"What?" he called out in answer to his name being called out.

Jason opened the door and walked in closing it behind him."Good morning Rafe, your last nurse was transferred so I will be taking her job for the time being."He gave a warm smile and held out the cup of pills."Take these and I'll get you some breakfast."He pulled out some needles as well."Im gonna have to prick ya too,unfortunately.He waited for the boy.

Given that he'd had a couple of different nurses at this point Rafe wasn't really all that confirmed by the change so he just nodded his head slightly. "Nice to meet you," he said, taking the pills that he was given and popping them into his mouth, swallowing without the aid of water. His gray-blue eyes went back to the nurse as he mentioned pricking him and that gained a face from the young man.

"I'd...really rather you didn't," he said, arching a brow slightly. "Is it absolutely necessary?"

"My name is Jason,I am the head nurse but I dont think we have met before."He handed him a small cup of water and threw away the empty cup.He pulled out small bottles and some actual needles,attaching them to the syringe."You know what happens if you dont get these,you wont get any better.If you do however,you will be released alot sooner.He slipped the first needle's tip into the first bottle and pulled back on the plunger.He did the same for the other syringe but with a different liquid.

"I'd introduce myself but you already know my name and probably a lot of my life's history based on the mountain of paperwork I had to fill out," Rafe said, watching what the nurse was doing as he filled the syringes. "I think a slower recovery might be a worthwhile tradeoff," Rafe said as he eyed the needles with an almost wary look in his gray-blue eyes. After a moment he just sort of sighed however since he was pretty sure this was one of those things that wasn't really up for debate.

"Oh dont be so down, I havent even started yet.Theres only two needles here so it wont be that much.Just down move and we can try this drug."He pulled up his sleeve and wiped the area with a alcoholic swab."It feels like a pinch theres nothing to be scared of."He readied the first one and found a suitable vein.

"I'm not scared of needles or anything, just not a fan of them," Rafe said to the nurse as he listened to what the man was saying to him. He watched what he was doing as Jason raised the sleeve of the hospital gown that he was wearing though he also had on a pair of pajama bottoms. He thought to himself that he was probably lucky he was getting this in the arm but he didn't say that one out loud and instead just watched what the nurse was doing.

"You arent supposed to enjoy it.This might sting."He pushed the needle into the flesh and injected him with the drug.He pushed on the plunger releasing the drug into his blood.He placed a cotton ball on the opening and strapped a band-aid to it."There just a prick."He smiled."Now for the other one.Bend over and put your butt in the air."He hoped that Rafe wasn't going to give him problems with the next part."Afterwards ill let you have anything you want to eat.He waited for him.

Rafe had to resist rolling his eyes when told that it might sting, the young man thinking that if he acted like a baby over a shot then that'd just be pathetic. He didn't say that one and instead just continued watching what Jason was doing as he was given the injection. His gray-blue eyes followed the nurse's movements and he didn't even really flinch for the injection, given that he'd been somewhat frail from an early age he was unfortunately used to this sort of thing.

Granted he wasn't expecting the next order that he was given and he openly gaped at the man when Jason told him to bend over and stick his butt into the air. "Wait, what?" he sort of stuttered, looking at Jason. "Can't you just stab me in the arm with that one too?"
