The younger boy gave a pout, jumping as the smacks continued. He had never been treated like this. Upon hearing who he was, one name came to mind. His eyes widened, having heard stories about this Bounty Hunter. On the bright side he hadn’t been caught by an amateur. His body moved around, trying desperately to get away from the slaps. “Ah. O-Okay. I’ve le-learned my l-lesson.” He managed to say between smacks. “C-Can you s-stop n-now?” he questioned, trying to push himself off the other male.

"And what have you learned?" Shadow Pan asked the boy.

"N-Not to steal?" he replied, guessing that was what the other wanted to hear. "Can you let me up now?" he asked, still trying to get up.

Without the boy noticing, Shadow Pan retrieved the diamond from his bag and placed it in his inner coat pocket.

'He may be good,' Shadow Pan thought, 'But he still has a lot to learn.'

“The same thing that happened now?” he questioned, trying to get up once again. “Can you let go of me now?” he asked. He didn’t think he would be sent to jail. He was able to get out multiple times, sending him back would have been useless. He wasn’t going to stop stealing, that would have been much too easy. He just needed to make sure he wouldn’t get caught next time.

The younger smiled, happy to be off the other’s lap. Quickly he pulled his pants up, fixing them before looking back at the Bounty Hunter. “I don’t think that’s necessary.” He said simply, grabbing his bag closer to him. It felt a little different, but he ignored the thought of it. “I should get going.”

Shadow Pan turned and jumped off the roof. Just as quickly as he appeared, Shadow Pan vanished into the shadows.
