To the Hunter's luck, Olive didn't question him at all, nor did she attempt to bite him again, much like a puppy who'd faced the wrath of a shock collar. She merely just leaned against him as he guided her back to town, because she did feel weak and... well, she strangely felt safer, leaning against him. Even though he had wanted to kill her.
"Sorry," she murmured after several minutes, sniffing adorably. "'B-'bout biting y-you..." Her voice was sincere. She really did feel bad, because she knew he must feel weakened because of it. She remembered that she had felt weak when Alfr drained her.

"Yes, I have a computer," Puck said, deciding to ignore his comments about her hitting. He would, of course, have more strength than her, being a demon and all, but that didn't mean he would have it when in the vessel. Besides, she knew she was quite strong, abd she had better things to do, like re-load her gun or play with Omelette.
"But there are child locks on it." After all, knowing Maxwell, he'd likely try to look at her research... or porn. A lot of virus-inducing porn. "If you want to use it, you can look at anything that's not blocked." Thankfully, she was somewhat tech-saavy, so she was sure the locks would be enough to control the demon. And if not, she had all of her work backed up, where she would never let him get it.
[OOC: um, how about we roll with it? As for the tattoo, I figured that its charm would break if he got it removed, just like anyone could get a tattoo removed. :3]

Her soft, sincere apology definitely wasn't making this process any easier. It was obvious that she meant it, but that fact alone didn't give reason to believe she wouldn't do it again, whether to him or someone else, when she got thirsty. Life wasn't a storybook. Vampires didn't sparkle and they didn't make friends with their food. He had to get rid of her, regardless of how horrible it was making him feel.
"Be quiet." He commanded, though his tone was somewhat gentle despite its forceful undertones. It was the only response he could come up with. Somehow, 'oh, it's fine you just drained my blood, don't worry about it' didn't really seem to be a genuine enough option. In truth, it had actually angered the Hunter a bit. She was supposed to be scared of the knife! Not attack him!
Some time passed and they'd returned to where they'd 'met'. As he entered the alleyway, he took his thumb and pressed it against the wound on his arm, using the blood to draw a sigil on the ground - the same sigil he had inked onto his shoulder. Heading to the other end of the alley, he did the same thing there, trapping her inside the two wards. Without paying much attention to his surroundings, he continued to pull the vampire along to where he pulled the large blade from where he'd left it, taking several tries to extract it from the wall - though his hand never let go of her wrist. Feeling a little like he'd pulled Excalibur from the stone, he took a moment to examine it. Despite how it had gotten lodged, it didn't seem to be damaged in any way.
Turning to his temporary companion, he frowned as his grip tightened on her forearm. "I'm sorry this happened to you. I wish I could've found you in time to cure you." Shaking his head, he added, "No, I wish I'd found him before he turned you." He sighed, looking at his feet as he took a step back and let go of her. Raising the large blade to rest on his shoulder, he continued, "I... I wish I could have prevented this." With that, he swung it back, beginning to bring it around in an arc to, unless she dodged and fought back, or something interfered, end her bloodsucking misery.

"You child lock your own computer? Were you thinking ahead, or are you bipolar and one of your personalities hates the other?" He pouted, crossing his arms across his chest childishly. Truth be told, he hadn't even thought about her research. There were funnier ways to piss her off. Though, it would probably helpful to him in one way or another, but that wasn't what was on his mind currently. "It's useless to me. I wanted it for porn. Tinsley's never watched porn before and I kind of feel bad for her."
"What am I supposed to do if I can't even watch porn? Gahh, you suck." He flopped sideways so he was laying on the couch, feet still propped on her table. With another yawn, he situated himself so he was laying entirely on the sofa, rather than half on the table, and rolled over to face the back of it. "Whatever. I'm going to sleep, I guess. You can continue trying to bore me to death in the morning." His stomach grumbled quietly in protest, but he ignored it, still using his arm as a pillow.

Fortunately for Olive, the knife never hit her. She had shut her eyes, ready to meet her maker, when she heard the knife clank to the floor. Um... what? She couldn't imagine why he stopped, but when she opened her eyes, she could see why.
Alfr, who'd been locked into the ward along with her and the Hunter, had awakened and attacked the Hunter, forcing the knife to fall upon the ground and slamming him down to the pavement. At first, she feared the redhead vampire would drink his blood, but Alfr laughed in the Hunter's face.
"Ha, ha, ha! It's good to see you again, my friend! Thought I'd lost you when I ran outta Cleveland!" Then, for laughs, he used his claws and scratched his shoulder so deep, blood immediately began to spill. And poor Olivia... she felt the thirst come back, even though she knew his Hunter blood was disgusting.
But she surprised herself when she attacked: not the Hunter and his blood, but Alfr, and she knocked him off the supernatural killer, forcing the old vampire to the other end of the alley.

Puck rolled her eyes at his whining, then handed him the TV remote, even though he'd rolled over to face the back of the couch. "If you want to watch porn, turn to channel R9. It's on constantly..." Not that she knew from experience, of course...
With Omelette on her feed, she headed back to the kitchen. She'd heard the demon's stomach growling, and if she kept him fed, she was more likely for he... him to be nicer - or less bratty. She cooked up another omelette, with veggies and ham and cheese in it, then set the plate down on the little table. "Here, if you're hungry."

Despite how many he'd fought over the course of being a hunter, their speed never ceased to amaze him. One second he's about to finish off the vampire girl he had been leading around, and then the next he's making out with the pavement, a strangely familiar looking vampire on top of him, pinning him to the ground as he roughly jerked him up by the collar to laugh in his face.
Cleveland? His brain was too worried about self-preservation to figure out what that meant. He felt like he should realize where the vampire knew him from, but he couldn't think straight. While his hand inched towards the blade that had been knocked from his grasp, he suddenly felt claws digging into the trapezius muscles between his shoulder and neck. Gasping harshly, he grunted in pain as the sharp claws were pulled out again, his arm twitching with pain.
Again he saw a glimpse of her incredible speed - even considering she was a vampire, she was amazingly fast - as she attacked the redheaded male, throwing him towards the end of the alley. Though he was in pain, his training kicked in and he began to think more quickly as his body lurched forward to grab the blade he'd originally intended to use on the girl. Gripping it tightly as he ran towards his attacker, with his good arm he raised it above his head, aiming to bring it down on the male vampire's neck to finish the job.

"Ohhh, so the pretty Huntress knows the porn channel offhand, huh? Well, I suppose it does get lonely always going from place to place as your kind does." He teased, not rolling over to see where she'd placed the remote; he'd heard her set it down on the table, so when he needed it he'd use it. Watching it on the television wasn't as much fun, though, when he couldn't download programs that would make strippers dance on her desktop every time it started up. Imagine her surprise! No doubt she'd be so happy.
He smelled food cooking, but he tried his best to ignore it, assuming she was teasing him. Though he'd originally taken her as the type to not be able to cook, it actually smelled quite good. His stomach growled again, and he sighed. He probably should've taken her up on that offer for pizza. Too late now, he supposed.
Rolling over as he heard the plate clink onto the table, he eyed her - and the food - suspiciously. Why would she be nice unless she had some sort of ulterior motive...? He watched as her loyal puppy followed at her heels. He was glad the creature wasn't growling at him like animals generally did; he supposed it could likely sense that he was trapped in the collar she'd put on him. Shaking his head and pushing the plate away, he muttered, "No way I'm eating that. I'm not that stupid." He muttered, pouting at her antics. He knew what she was up to! Waited until he wasn't looking to make him food so he couldn't see that she'd put Holy Water in it!

Alfr, though dazed, was still rather fast for a vampire, and he managed to dodge out of the way of the hunter and his knife, then roared after Olive. She ducked and dodged, then attacked back.
Vampire against vampire. Attack, dodge. Attack, dodge. Swipe your nails against a throat, open your mouth and flash your fangs, try to grab a bite. It was fast-paced, even for the two supernatural creatures, and it was to a great surprise when Alfr found himself on the ground, in something akin to a full-Nelson, but Olive was holding him onto the ground with her legs behind his head, and yanking his chin back with her fingers so his neck was out in the open.
"Get him! Kill him now!" she begged the hunter.

Puck Tyron
Puck, ignoring the remark about pornography, quirked her eyebrow when he refused the omelette. "Belive me, if you're even remotely intelligent, you'll eat it. If you want to starve yourself, fine, but I'm not going to poison your food." As if it would help, she added, "If I really wanted to kill you, I'll be more clever about it."
Then she took the remote – since the demon clearly wasn't going to use it – and slumped down into a nearby chair, and turned the channel to some pay-per-view channel, where a black and white movie was playing. Casablanca? Gone with the Wind? He couldn't tell what this was.
Omelette, after shuffling over and licking the demon's cheek once, trotted over to where his owner was and attempted to get up onto the seat with her. But the cushion was too high – or perhaps he was too short? – and after the third time of jumping up and rolling off, Puck took pity on him and sat her in his lap. And the puppy rested his head on her chest, his snout right between her plump boobies, and all she did was scratch his ears and kiss his head!
Lucky little bastard.

The speed of the vampire got the better of him, and the redhead slipped out of the way before he managed to hit him. He left the fast-pace fighting to the non-humans, knowing he was much better off taking a moment to observe, especially since he was in pain and feeling lightheaded and nauseous from how much blood he'd lost that night. Their agility and dexterity was very impressive, and he couldn't help but think of how handy such powers would be.
Soon, he witnessed yet another shocking turn of events, as the female ended up getting him pinned in a rather interesting way. He'd already begun to charge in when she pleaded for him to kill the vampire, this time his blade meeting its mark. Immediately a surge of relief washed over him, and he dropped his weapon and fell to his knees to take a rest. The alleyway, due to the corpse Alfr had left, as well as Alfr's corpse, and the blood from his own injuries, looked very much like a slaughterhouse. Crimson stains marked the pavement in more places than he cared to count.
With a grunt as his adrenaline began to wear off, he made his way over to the wall and sat himself down against it, not really registering that there was still a threat in the alleyway with him. A combination of sleepiness, pain, exhaustion - both mental and physical, and blood loss rendered him unconscious for at least twenty minutes.
When he awoke, as the events came back to him, he was rather surprised he was still alive; after all, he'd forgotten to take out the girl. The wards would keep her in, and she knew he wanted to kill her, so there wasn't really anything else she could've done. Rubbing at his eyes, he mumbled, "So you didn't take your chance. Although I guess if you did you'd just be trapped in the wards anyway."

"I'm not worried about you killing me, idiot," He began, glaring pointedly at Puck. "You wouldn't want to hurt this vessel. What does worry me is Holy Water." It worked on a spiritual level, after all, doing no harm to the body and only to the demonic entity inside. He hated the damn stuff - and with global warming, or whatever humans called it, water was becoming more and more abundant. It was like everywhere he went could be a possible weapon.
He gently patted the pup's head as Omelette licked his face, deciding to watch whatever was on the TV until he fell asleep. But there was food in front of him, food that he actually found himself wanting pretty badly. After taking the tiniest of bites - all the while observing the lucky dog with his face in his master's lovely breasts - he deemed it safe to eat when his insides didn't feel like they were burning through his flesh to become 'outsides'. Within a few minutes he'd wolfed the whole thing down, pleasantly surprised to find it was as delicious as it had smelled - and even more surprisingly wasn't tainted with Holy water. "Your cooking sucks. But thanks for not being a bitch and putting anything painful in it."
After his insincere insult, he asked, "So, where we headed tomorrow?" He swung his legs around so his feet were on the floor. Standing, he took his plate to the kitchen and deposited the dish in the sink, turning to head back into the living room when he paused to think. Deciding to do something to try to get on her good side, he once again moved back to the sink and began to wash the dishes she'd used that night. "Do I get a new body tomorrow?"

Olive, once the vampire was dead and disposed of, merely laid down on the pavement and allowed herself to catch her breath. She was purposefully trying to ignore the blood coming from the hunter, and she was equally ignoring the two corpses within the wards.
She did notice when he awoke, though. "I.... A chance for what?" she asked, her soft voice confused. "I don't want to hurt you. You saved my life... Undead life, now, I suppose... Even after I drank from you..." (She murmured that last part softly, poking her fingers together. She supposed he still wasn't too happy about that.)

The Huntress was pleased to see the demon actually eat the food, and she was even more pleased to note that he didn't break her plate. (For some reason, she'd been expecting for him to throw a tantrum at the very least.) Still, the idea of him washing the plate felt a tad odd, but it was not unwelcome.
"Tomorrow, I have no idea. I'm probably going to go grocery shopping, then check around to see if anyone reported you when you went out clubbing. And, no, you can't get another vessel." She added, sternly. After all, he could fuck up this one's life well enough without ruining someone else's too.

"Nothing to be grateful for though. I saved your life like a farmer saves his cattle from wolves." He responded, looking over at the girl with slightly unfocused eyes. He felt it was a fitting analogy; farmers protected their cattle, sure, but that was because they were useful to them - they were killed for meat. By protecting them, it was only postponing their inevitable death. Just as a farmer, her death would be much more painful by the 'wolves', in this case Alfr, than it would be from him.
"But you saved my life, too, so we're even. I've been careless. Guess I'm off my game." Had she not intervened, the man would have killed him, likely slowly, and probably painfully. Definitely painfully. The throbbing ache in his shoulder was testament to that. It wouldn't even have been a case of keeping him as a bank due to his wards, the vamp would just have wanted him to suffer. At least, that's what Jesse took away from what he'd learned about him from the encounter. But it didn't matter anymore.
He sighed. It was a shame he had to kill her. Now that he could get a look at her, she was actually quite pretty. Even with her vampiric pallor, she was still soft and gentle looking. She wasn't particularly tall, either, and her demeanor was like that of a child. It was hard to believe that under those delicate lips of hers hid some pretty fierce fangs, but he'd seen - and felt - them for himself. Maybe she could control herself... How much damage could such a small girl do, anyway -
No. No, no, no, no, NO. He had encountered and killed off a large enough amount of her kind that he was sure of how their minds worked. Not to mention she wasn't exactly weak or fragile when she'd taken down the ginger. She was no different than the rest of them, she was cut from the same bloodthirsty cloth. So why was it so difficult to reach for his blade? Was it because she saved him? Did he feel he owed her some sort of debt?
"You know, helping me doesn't change anything." He said, his voice barely above a whisper, as if it was something forbidden to be said. "You're still one of them. You'll still hurt people, even if you don't want to. I have to..." His voice trailed off. He couldn't just outright say he had to kill her. That'd be too cruel. All of this was too cruel - she was barely even an adult! She couldn't be any older than nineteen or twenty, unless she just looked younger than she was. "I have to do it."

"I get to go shopping, too, right? You're not going to just leave me here to rot, are you?" He frowned to himself, although she couldn't see it from the other room. It was probably a no, since it didn't seem like she wanted him to be seen. But with a lock on her computer and only TV-porn to watch, what was he meant to do? Read? Reading was for nerds and pussies. Well, at least if you asked Max.
"But I neeeed a new vessel! Pleaaasee? I want to be a dude again, and this one's just too damn whiny." He wished he could make Puck hear the girl for just a few minutes - she'd understand then why he wanted out. 'Stop groping those men with my body!' 'Stop drinking hot sauce, I'll be sick!' 'Don't drink those shots, I don't drink alcohol!' 'No, I'm vegan, don't eat those eggs!' It was just endless streams of bitching and moaning (and not even sexy moaning!), and quite frankly, it was pissing him off. "Can you at least take the collar off long enough for me to kill her?"

Olive, after watching the internal turmoil grow and ebb and flow across the hunter's face, and flinching a little when he compared her to cattle, lowered her shoulders in a resigned sort of way. "I... I understand if you want to kill me, Mister... That kinda makes sense, with you being a hunter and all... and me being a vampire now..."
She bit her lip. And this man wasn't attacking her! And she certainly wasn't going to attack him back. She'd only attacked Alfr because he had changed her, and she wanted revenge, and she was angry because she was a vampire now, and she had only gotten such strength when she was in her blind rage, and... and... and...
And because Alfr had tried hurting the hunter. And the hunter was just doing his job. She had protected him.
"Mister?" she asked softly, remaining on the ground. She kind of wanted to give him a hug: the really gentle ones, when you give it to someone who you thought might cry at the drop of the hat, or because you wanted to comfort someone. But she wasn't entirely sure that he would react too well with the affectionate gesture. She thought for a moment, nibbling on her lip. "Would... Would you mind, if... if I helped you? With, with finding people like me and stuff... I can tell when we're around, and... and it could help you.... And, and if I do a bad job, or, or if you think I'm a threat, then you could... you could kill me..."
Of course, she didn't want to be killed, especially by this nice man who, well... He had soft skin and pretty eyes, and he was taller than her, which was nice... She wasn't entirely sure why she liked him. She just, well... she just did!

"First of all," Puck snapped, going into the kitchen. Omelette stayed on the seat, staring at the television plainly. "I don't have to listen to a goddamn request to you make. So if I say something, as long as you have the collar on – and you will have it on for a while, what I say, goes."
"And secondly, you're not killing the vessel." Besides, that would cause an ass-load of paperwork for her, and talking to police, and denying to her landlord that she had known her. "For more reasons than one, whether she's whiney or not. Considering you're whiney as well, I'd think you two would get along nicely."

It was difficult to listen to her resigned statements, and he closed his eyes tightly to try to keep his emotions from surfacing. While he wasn't about to cry, it was much more emotionally painful when he could see the girl visibly wilt from his words. It just wasn't fair. No one, no one at all should have to go through what she was going through. And the worst part? He blamed himself more than he blamed Alfr. If he'd caught him weeks ago, he and this girl never would've crossed paths, and she never would've been turned. But his incompetence and lack of information was her downfall.
And even despite this, even though he was the base reason she was now lusting after blood, she was still asking to follow him so she could help him. Though her reasoning was likely to save her own life, it was still something offered that would benefit him much more than her. It wouldn't exactly be easy, considering blood would be of low supply and they'd constantly be moving from place to place.
But how was that supposed to work? He was meant to just trust her not to up and kill him in his sleep? No, he'd made enough stupid mistakes that night, from forgetting the blood to misjudging her height and leaving his blade in the wall, and even right up to hesitating to kill her. She wasn't a girl anymore... She was a vampire, the same sort that always became sadistic and violent, and would kill people in order to make themselves feel better. It was like keeping a tiger cub for a pet - it might be cute and cuddly in the beginning, but you can bet your left ass cheek that if that beast catches you with your back turned, it's going to sink its claws into your flesh and rip you apart.
However, there was one thing she had that a wild animal didn't; she still retained human reasoning and speech. He couldn't rightly compare her to them, and he'd already made an animal analogy, anyway, so he couldn't have two. It was against his better judgement, but he knew after that little speech of hers, there was no way that he could lift his blade with intent to hurt her. It had never been hard before, not even once, and this one girl was going to ruin his streak. Wellp, some Hunter he was.
He gave it a few more minute's thought, pondering over the pros and cons. He'd thought himself how helpful it would be to have their speed and senses. But on the other hand, he hadn't meant from some volatile person he wasn't even sure if he could trust. It'd be easier than killing her, but it would be his responsibility, in turn, if she ended up killing someone else. He doubted she'd feed off him, though, due to the ward he had, so... "...Alright." Jesse responded, looking her straight in the eyes. "I'll get you the blood you need, you won't need to hurt people, so if you do, that's the end of it. All it'll take is the very thought of hurting someone." While his words by themselves were stern, his tone was quite matter-of-fact.
Getting to his feet, and using the wall behind him for support, he moseyed over to the end of the alley and rubbed the trap away with his shoe. "Your first Hunter task is finding my car. It's down this road; take the second right you see and look for a gold Pontiac Aztek." He pulled his keys out of his coat pocket, smearing them with a bit of blood from his shoulder in the process, and tossed them to her. "Bring back the black First-Aid case in the back hatch. It's the only one that's square instead of shaped."

"You can shove the collar up your ass, Huntress bitch." He growled back at her, not appreciating her taunting him with the fact that he was stuck wearing it. Not many things riled him, but he was fast coming to hate being on a leash. "You just wait and see what I do to you when I get this off. And your little dog, too." Truth be told, he probably wouldn't harm the pup - he kind of liked dogs, even if they were stupid enough to happily follow humans around. But he knew it pushed her buttons, so he did enjoy a tease or two regarding the little mutt.
"And you still didn't answer my question as to whether I get to go or not. But fine. Have it your way." He threw up his hands. "You don't even get to have me go shopping with you! How about that? Now you suffer." Shoving past her and storming into the next room, he angrily flopped on the couch, tugging one of the lounge pillows under his head and rolling to face the back of the sofa. "And that's the last time I try to do something nice and clean up for you, too! Ass!"
