Increasing time that images stay on front page

Proposal: increase time that images stay on front page, from the existing 3 days, to perhaps 4 or 5.

No idea the technical feasibility.

Pros: Casual visitors have a higher chance of stumbling upon art they enjoy. Artists have more time to get engagement from casuals.

Cons: ??

There's no technical limitations, there's just no evidence that it'll lead to more clicks or comments.

At the moment we have 24 images on the front page from the res gallery alone, sometimes we can have up to 30 or more.

Increasing it to 4 day or 5 days exposure could mean we get 45-50 on the front page.

I think at best it'll be diminishing returns, at worst - to fill in your cons - it increases the obscurity of images by making the ones, for example, uploaded 2/3 days ago get lost among an ocean of content. They'll be in the middle of the pack, not the top or the bottom, and harder to see.

No-ones saying no to the idea I just think for people browsing on their phones and devices it becomes quite a lot to load and quite a lot to scroll through and does not automatically mean more comments would be gained.
