InuYasha: Brotherly Bonds {for SandKat}

Okay so being sealed to a tree for fifty years was bad enough but that was nothing compared to this. He wasn't even sure how it had happened, one moment he'd been fighting and trying to show his obnoxious half brother Sesshomaru that he wasn't a weakly and the next moment he had been reduced to... a child.

Huddled in a pile of red fabric that had been his clothes up until a few moments ago the white haired half demon watched as his brother slayed the demon. His golden eyes remained focused on the arrogant demon as he waited to see just how Sesshomaru was going to react to this.

His ears pinned back slightly as he waited, a look of uncertainty on his face. There was maybe even a trace of fear since he was well aware of the fact that Sesshomaru had never liked him.

And now it would be all too easy for his brother to solve what he viewed as a problem once and for all.

Meeting up with his mongrel brother was something that Sesshomaru had not anticipated when he had set out on this particular day and while his stoic expression hid this very well he was not pleased. As far as he was concerned Inuyasha was unworthy to share even a portion of his familial blood, the full-blood dog demon making no attempts at hiding his disdain for the younger half-blood.

Yet he did still engage in battle against the beast that his brother was making a mockery of himself by fighting. Once the demon had been vanquished by his blade Sesshomaru turned cold eyes to where his brother had been, taking note of the pile of fabric and then briefly losing his stoicism as he saw what was in the middle of said pile.

He was unprepared for the sight that met his eyes.

"What have you allowed to happen to yourself?" Sesshomaru asked coldly as he gazed at his brother, knowing it was his brother because the scent was the same.

Anger was the chief emotion that Inuyasha was dealing with as he gazed up at the smug bastard that was standing over him, his white dog ears pinning back as he glared up at Sesshomaru. He had to crane his head to be able to do that owing to the height difference and that just served to further tick him off to be honest.

"How the hell should I know that?" he barked back at his brother when Sesshomaru asked what he had allowed to happen. "And I didn't let it happen ya idjit!"

Snapping at Sesshomaru might not be the best idea in the world given his current size and relatively helpless state but that was just the type of creature he was. He had issues controlling his temper and those snarky remarks just seemed to escape before he really had time to think better of the idea.

"Well clearly you did not stop it from happening," Sesshomaru pointed out in his usual cold voice as he continued to gaze at the pint sized half breed. As always the mutt annoyed him and as he continued to stare down at the bratling an idea appeared in his mind's eye.

"Hmm... I believe that you would be less apt to be so disrespectful had someone raised you properly," Sesshomaru said, his golden eyes betraying nothing of his thoughts as he walked toward his mutt brother.

He had a plan, he was not going to share what it was.

"Too much human influence," he added, resisting the urge to snort because that was beneath him.

Inuyasha growled and made a face at his idiotic half brother when the other white haired male pointed out that he hadn't stopped it from happening. "I don't even know how it happened you jerk!" he snapped out, watching as Sesshomaru started to walk toward him and that made him more than a little bit nervous.

"What the hell are you on about?" he asked when his brother mentioned something about him being raised properly. "Did you hit yer head or something?" he asked in a scathing voice, his golden eyes still following his brother's movements.

Because Sesshomaru was up to something, he could tell.

And given his current size he was extremely wary.

The look on the mutt's face would have been enough to make him laugh if he did such things but that was beneath him. Continuing to walk forward he reached down and grasped his brother once he reached the mutt, picking Inuyasha up via the hands under his armpits, his golden eyes focused on Inuyasha once he had lifted him.

"I will teach you some respect," he said in an ominous voice, looking around and spotting a rock that would serve his purposes.

Striding toward the rock he sat down and without pomp or circumstance deposited the mutt over his lap. Immediately a large hand pinned the white haired puppy in place, preventing him from being able to rise, and the other hand was raised and brought down across the pale cheeks with lightning speed and no preamble or warning.

The sound of flesh impacting flesh was a pleasant noise to Sesshomaru's ears.

"What the hell are you talking about?" Inuyasha demanded of his half brother, another growl leaving his lips though in his current state and size it was less than intimidating. He was almost like a chihuahua trying to face off against a great dane right now as he squirmed and kicked his feet as he was lifted and then carried over to a rock.

He was actually startled into silence when he was plopped down over his brother's lap.

That silence didn't last long as he felt a hand come crashing down against his unprotected backside, that getting a loud yelp of pain from him. Now Inuyasha had been in many battles and he had suffered many wounds, all of which had caused pain worse than this, but for some reason he ended up yelping and carrying on as though he were being murdered in response to that smack to his backside.

"Stop it Sesshomaru!" he demanded as he squirmed, finding his voice again at this point.

The uncouth things that were spewing from the mutt's mouth were ignored by Sesshomaru as the stoic demon lord raised his hand again and delivered another firm smack. Again the sound of flesh on flesh impact seemed almost to echo in the otherwise quiet that surrounded them.

"You will learn proper respect," Sesshomaru stated, his tone making it clear that this was not optional in his mind.

His words were punctuated by a series of harder smacks which he focused on Inuyasha's sit spots and upper thighs. This was a long overdue lesson that he fully meant to drive home to his stubborn and obnoxious half brother. He may not acknowledge Inuyasha but they did share familial blood and he would not suffer such a disgrace to continue.

"You're outta your mind!" Inuyasha snapped in response to his brother's cold and callous statement about his lack of respect. Or rather stating that he was going to learn respect, the half breed flicking his ears in irritation and growling again. He was trying to maintain that tough outer exterior even in the face of something as embarrassing and painful as being over his brother's lap but that wasn't entirely working out for him.

Because it seemed that his small body wasn't as good at coping with the pain.

Another high pitched yelp left his lips as his brother really started to light into him, Inuyasha kicking and squirming in response to the sting from those smacks to the more tender areas of his backside.

"Dammit!" he practically screamed.

Sesshomaru would have rolled his eyes if not that this was beneath him. Rather than giving in to this desire the demon instead ignored the mutt completely, as hard as that was to pull off. His hand continued to rise and fall with a steady pace, the sounds of flesh striking flesh not as clear as previous due to his brother's yowls.

Another thing that he was trying to ignore.

His patience was wearing thin but he was not going to stop, not until he had managed to bring the pup to tears. Perhaps after a thorough hiding Inuyasha would be less insufferable and more inclined to keep his mouth shut for a change of pace.
