Jacob was kicking and wailing so hard that he didn't realize the spanks had stopped until he'd been lifted and lowered. He ran to the corner with that handspank, but fists balled, tears streaming through very angry eyes, the little prince kicked at the wall in frustration.

"Rrrgh!" He gasped, trying to keep in the sobs, to be tough - he didn't want this woman to think she could hurt him - right now, he hated the cook. Hated that she wouldn't give him an answer, hated that she thought she could do things just because she was bigger than him...
