Knowing her Limitations (for Sonic908)

Danielle Barber was an 18 year old girl from the mystical land of Cyring. She generally wore a black pointy hat with a red sash wrapped around it, a white button-up shirt (that was often not quite as far buttoned up as it should be), and a short black skirt. She had dark blonde hair down to her shoulders and tan skin. She tended to wear stockings rather than the socks she was supposed to, and she was no stranger to the various spanking implements used by the masters of her school.

She was a student at the Cyring Magical School. The world on which Cyring existed did not have quite as much technology as Earth, but perhaps that was because many of its greatest minds put more effort into creating magical artifacts than standard technological advances. Danielle had been chosen for one of the most prestigious magical schools of her nation, and despite her frequent need for correction, she was one of the best students in her class.

She was working on a group project with several of her fellow students, and they found that for the spell they were currently trying to do, they were short a few strands of hair from a rare beast found on a different world. "What will we do now?" one of Danielle's classmates whined. "We'll never get those hairs before tomorrow! We're going to get a bad grade on this assignment!"

Danielle thought for a moment and smiled, "No we won't! I'll get those hairs myself!"

"But... we can't get those hairs ourselves! None of us have a license to open up inter-dimensional holes!"

Danielle smiled and shrugged, "I'd prefer to be spanked for doing what it takes to pass my class than for failing my class. Wouldn't you?"

The other girl gulped, but she didn't really have a good comeback for that one. Opening up inter-dimensional holes was extremely dangerous, and it required a lot of magical energy and special supplies. Fortunately, those specialized supplied Danielle had at hand. The school had sensors that would likely pick up their inter-dimensional hole and she probably would be spanked for it, but she had procrastinated too long on doing this project and she didn't have enough time to gather all the supplies she needed ahead of time with proper procedures. Oh well, a toasty bottom isn't the worst thing in the world. Depending on who applies the spanking, it can even be a bit fun. She hoped it would be Professor Zigginthorp...

However, she was not nearly as advanced as she'd thought, and she miscalibrated several things, and she accidentally reversed the suction, and instead of stealing a creature from another world, she sent herself flying through an open portal and suddenly she was face down in a strange room...

"Where am I?" she whispered as she slowly stood up. She clearly hadn't gone to the world she was aiming to take a creature from. Which was probably a good thing because the creatures of that world could be quite dangerous. However, that was also where her professors would go look for her, and when they didn't find her, they'd presume her dead, and so no one would come looking for her wherever she was now... and somehow the magical auras didn't feel as strong here. She wasn't sure she could ever get back!

Those thoughts were interrupted though as she suddenly heard footsteps outside her door. She looked around and she was seemingly in a bedroom. There was a bed, a few decorations... why had she ended up here?

Midnight Satoshi was a 18 year old man originally from the United States, he now lived to Japan for the last couple of years. He was a decently smart, extordinarly clever, as well as a strong young man. He usually wore Dark clothing, but his favorite accessory was the dark blue scarf around his neck.

Growing up, his parents weren't always around a whole lot, his mother was a model and Actress while his father was in the Military. Both constantly around the world, he mainly lived by himself. But his parents never neglected him. They always sent money his way, to which he eventually saved up and bought a modern apartment for himself in Japan.

Throughout his days of living here, he was always bored and not really interested in anything. But he did enjoy running, he was the fastest at his school and any other school in the area He goes to Ryoko High School, has been for the past 2 years.

Speaking of High School, he was coming home from it after a long day. The teacher had him stay after to help with moving some boxes and equipment to other rooms...for the third time Now he was completely exhausted. Once arriving at his apartment, he unlocked the door and entered, shutting the door behind him as he started to yawn and sigh.

"*yawn* Sure running doesn't tire me out, but heavy lifting does...*sigh* at least I can rest easy for the night. Like every other night...,"he sighed, not notcing the flash of light that happened in his room because he had stretched a bit. "Let's just go t-"He then heard a voice that sounded feminine in his room. He looked puzzled for a moment and thought his mind was playing tricks on him. He shook his head and opened the door and was met with a girl in a Witch costume.

"Hey! Who the hell are you lady!? And why are you in my room? More importantly, how'd you even get in my house?"he asked, not very amused by this at all.

Well, whoever this person was, a least Danielle could speak his language! She was still very shocked and out of sorts, but she quickly tried to regain her composure and make a good first impression. "Uhh... hi! I'm Danielle Barber, and I just got side-tracked on my way to the local magical council. Would you mind pointing me there?"

Danielle looked the man up and down and he was actually fairly attractive. At least the house she'd ended up in was a fairly nice one.

Midnight raised an eyebrow. Was this girl crazy or something? "Local Magical Council? The heck is that? You're in my house, in Japan, on the planet earth. We don't have a Magical Council or whatever, but we do have a Police Station,"he said.

He had to admit, she was a very beautiful woman. He wasn't going to entirely complain that a gorgeous woman broke to his home, but that didn't mean he wouldn't punish her for it.

It was as she feared. This world... Earth as he called it, had much less magical essence to it than Earth. She didn't know if there was enough magic or the right supplies she'd need to make another portal back. Of course, even if she did make it back, the spanking (more likely paddling) of a lifetime would be waiting for her on the other side. Not that that bothered her too much, but she liked to at least earn her spankings. She wasn't really very close to anyone back at Cyring anyways. She rarely talked to her family and most of her friends were upperclassmen who had already graduated.

"Oh no," she said. "We don't need to get any sort of police force involved... You may search me, stranger. I have not stolen anything from your house."

Midnight held his hand up at her,"No thanks, I believe you, no need for a search,"he said as he put his hand down, then sighed,"Well speaking of strangers, I'm still not thrilled to find a stranger in my home. Tell me, how did you get here and why?"

She had heard from the masters that some people on less magical worlds were very skeptical of magic and so she wasn't sure whether or not he'd believe her, but she didn't really have any other good explanations so she decided to go with the truth. Either he'd believe her or he wouldn't!

"Oh, well I was working on a very complex spell and I needed some hair from a Gorzhen and I tried to open up a portal myself, and I know I probably shouldn't have, but something went very wrong and I ended up on this planet instead of summoning a Gorzhen! Why am I in your bedroom? I have no idea, magic works in mysterious ways! I have no idea how to get back though..." She didn't know if that sounded like non-sense or not, but in this case it was actually the truth.

Midnight was now very, very confused. He sighed understanding the situation now though. "Whatever, I'm tired. I'm just gonna take your word for it,"he said, then looked at her with a stern look,"But you're not completely off the hook yet young lady."

She perked up when he called her "young lady". Most 18 year olds didn't like being talked to so diminuitively, especially by a peer, but Danielle was a bit excited by it. Besides, she knew that she might be at the mercy of this individual as she really hoped he wouldn't throw her out on the street of a world she didn't even know. She lightly brushed down her skirt and cleared her throat and said, "Very well, I submit to your judgment, good sir. But before I do, may I at least know your name?"

Midnight noticed her fidget a bit. He think I was from pleasure or excitement. He shook his head and ignored the fact at the moment and answered her questions. "My name is Midnight Satoshi, what's your ma'am?"he asked politely.
