A lazy girl and a strict nanny (for Jinchu)

Sonia was not a bad girl, overall. She was smart, and didn't misbehave too much for her age, which was 14 years old. But she had a problem: she was lazy beyond imagination.
She didn't to her homework, often slept on the couch to don't have to go to bed, she was alway late for school, slept during lessons, and things like those. She was soo lazy that sometimes she even stood there on the couch with her rumbling belly, too lazy even to go to eat. Her behavior worried her mother, that didn't know what do to about it.
The last time, however, she really exagerrated.
She was sleeping in her bed, in the middle of the night, and woke up needing to go to the bathroom. But she shrugged and went back to sleep, not caring about it, and simply wetted herself. After all, it was not her that had to clean it.

Her mother, Karen, came to her room to wake the girl up, knowing full well she couldbn't trust the alarm clock with that. But once the slughtly chubby middle-aged woman with her brown hair in a bum came into Sonia's room she smelled something nasty. Karen moved away the soggy blanket and - yes, her teenage daughter was sleeping in the center of a big wet spot!



"Sonia!! What's that?!" her mom exclaimed in a mixture of shock and anger.

Sonia yawned in response, muttering something. The teen opened her green eyes and moved away from them her long red hair.
"Hi, mom." she simply said.
She then noticed her mother expression, and said in a bored tone "Sorry, I was too tired to get up and going to the bathroom."

"Do you think that's a valid justification?!" now Karen was totally enraged. Her daughter had given her a lot of reasons to be upset, but that nonchalant reaction kinda crossed the line. "Youre 14, not four!! Aren't you ashamed to wet your bed, Sonia?! March to teh shower, young lady, NOW!! Wash and hurry to school! I guess I'll ahve to taker some measures about all this, but we'll talk about it at the dinner..."

Sonia shrugged, replying in her usual bored tone "Yeah, yeah. We will talk about it. But only if it's not too demanding."
With those words, she slowly crawled out of her wet bed and added, yawning "I'm already tired."
The teen went to the bathroom and, after having removed her clothes, she put on new ones after a very quick cleaning.
Then she finally went to school.

Her mother quickly shoved the bed sheets into the washing machine before hurrying to work, not having much tme to do more. But on her way she called her old friend, who had once suggested her a nanny from special agency for "problematc kids, which offered a "traditional, extremely effective approach". Previously Karen had declined that idea, but now she asked for the agnecy's contacts.


The day was not over yet then she made all needed agreements. Karen was surprised and pleased to know that her daughter's case was not unique and she could hire a babysitter with plenty of experience for such cases.


At the e4vening of teh same day Karen caklled her daughter to the dining table. As soon as the teenager sat to her plate her mother started in a very concerned and unusualy strict tone. "Sonia, your recent behaviour was unacceptable. Not only you ignore your chores completely - you're failing all the classes. I don't know if you'll passn to the next garde! And not because you cannot understand the programm, you just do absolutely nothing! There's no excuse for that. Ad wetting your bed, at your age?! That was teh last straw, honestly..."

Sonia was on the couch to play at Animal Crossing, a relaxing game that didn't need a lot of effort to be played. When her mother called her to the table, she slowly stood up and went to the table with the speed of a sloth.
She sat down with her left leg completely abandoned on one side, while resting her head on her right elbow, and listened to the boring tirade of her mother.
As she had finished, the teen yawned and said "Yes, yes, I know. Teachers target me, I have attention disorders, blah, blah, blah. I'm not in the mood to make excuses, it's to tiring."
She sighed, and added "And of all the things, you really got mad for me wetting the bed?"

Karen supressed the audiable groan. Maybe she let her daughter to feel way too untouchable if that's her only response. But that woud change soon... The woman now felt even more resolute nad ensured in her rather hasty decision.


"Since you lack any discipine and self-control, even on the two years old baby, I ahve to take measures. You cannot be responsible on your own? Very good, you have a babysitter now. I've called her, and she'll be here any minute. And she has full authority to dictate your daily routine, to check on your school homework and to discipline you however she sees fitting. We've discussed it, and I agreed that spankings would be most appropriate for a lazy baby like my daughter, apperently, is" Karen's angry monologe was interrupted by a sound of the door bell.





"Oh, here she is!" the woman smiled and hurried to open the door.

Karen rampaging speech had the power to move Sonia. The teen looked at her as she spoke, listening to her words.
A babysitter? Was she serious? She was not a baby.
Then the word spanking resounded in her ears, making her widened her eyes. No, it was clearly a joke.
Sonia felt more sure about it, and let out a sigh. Her mother was clearly trying to scare her, but with no avail.
Then the door rang, and Sonia huffed, thinking that she didn't want to bother to go to check it.
But it wasn't needed: her mother acted first.
The lazy teen watched, to see who was at the door.

Soon Karen returned with a woman in her mid 40's. She had her dark hair long enough to cover he ears, was a bit full-figured, but not overweight and wore a very concervative, mustard-yellow dress and just as old-fashioned glasses. Even from under these glasses one could see her gaze, as sharp and strong as steel. The guest carried a massive carpetbag.


"I'm so gald you could come so soon... Sonia, meet Ms. Dobson, your new babysitter" Karen introduced the woman.


"So, you're Sonia, the lazy disobedient bed-wetter I've heard so much about" Ms. Dobson looked at the teenager strictly.
