"If you want to prolong your injury and not be able to probend for the rest of the season, then fine," Lin shrugged. It was a bluff. If Korra called her out on it, she'd make her wear the sling no matter what. Probending was one thing, but she couldn't have her missing out on that much training. They needed her better as soon as possible.

The girl gave her mom a small smile at that as that meant she would not have to wear it. “So, you’re saying I don’t have to wear it. I can still bend, I have a cast on and it does not hurt that bad. I don’t see why I have to have it,” Korra said as she sat down for breakfast.

Korra pouted as her mom told her she had to wear it as she thought maybe she didn’t. “I want to be able to play in them, but fine. I get it, it won’t heal right without it,” She said. Korra groaned as she grabbed her sling and put her it on and walked back to the kitchen table. This stunk as this would be the next few days of her life. Korra would fight her mother on a lot of things, but it was a losing battle when it came to health. “Can I go play with Asami today. I can ride Naga over there,” Korra said. “I’ll finish my work first,” Korra said.

"Yes, that's fine after you're done with your schoolwork," Lin nodded. She was relieved it was Asami instead of Tahno or the brothers. It wasn't that she had a problem with the boys, but she would prefer Korra to play with a friend she wasn't likely to roughhouse with at the moment.
"I think you'd better walk than ride Naga," Tenzin suggested. "Riding on Naga's back is a bumpy ride, and we need your arm to stay set. Or I can give you a ride on Oogi's back."

Korra gave a nod as she ate her breakfast. She did not have too much work, so would probs my be around a hour. The girl had managed to catch up on her studies from her grounding, which was nice.
The girl frowned at her next words though. Naga was her family and she ha don’t been able to ride her much recently. She thought it would be nice for the two to ride together. “Uh uh. I’m riding Naga and no butts about it,” Korra said mimicking her mother from earlier.

Lin gave her a side-eye at that, but didn't feel like fighting. This was Korra and Tenzin's battle, not hers. And she had a feeling she knew who was going to win. The monk just pinched the skin in between his eyes. "All right. But tell Naga to go slowly."

Korra just gave a nod and decided not to push her luck further. After finishing breakfast and work. Korra walked back into the room where her parents were. “I’m going to Asami’s, I’ll be back by dinner,” Korra said as she headed to Naga.

"All right," Lin agreed. She had recently put her armor on, and was headed to work herself. She felt nauseous, and had on and off for the past week or so. She might try to see a doctor at some point during the day. "Just don't do any bending today, okay? Or at least not with your arm. We'll see you tonight."
