Gohan was shocked. Daddy had been this way since he'd returned. Before, he could do pretty much anything and Daddy would defend him but now, he would put his foot down more, would support Mother in some things but he'd never done this.
Gohan didn't doubt Goku could forcefully open his mouth but he'd never seen this look Goku carried lately. Would the old daddy, the nice one, come back when this was over?
He took the chance, hoping for that, and opened his mouth

Goku put the bar into his mouth,
"You leave that there until I tell you other wise young man is that understood." Gohan's eyes filled with tears.
"I don't wanna have have to be mean like this but daddy has no choice. He does not like those words and you know it. Goku let him spit it out after ten minutes.
"THATS NASTY!"
"Gohan go ahead and rince your mouth out then I want you in bed understood?"

Gohan regarded his father only after rubbing at his tongue for about five minutes.
"Daddy..."
"Did you hear me Gohan?"
he nodded. As Goku walked off, Gohan half muttered "Where's my NICE Daddy go?"

Goku didn't answer, he didn't trust himself not to cave when he saw Gohan's face. He knew his own limits and just doing what he just did was making him hate himself. Gohan's pitiful voice wasn't helping and if he knew his son, the boy knew it.
Gohan sighed but didn't move from the bathroom, just regarded his reflection in the mirror. Daddy was getting harsher every day it seemed but then there was times it was like old times. He missed those a lot though he also knew he would not be who he was without the harsher times.

Wait...what was that ki, falling...
"Daddy! Tien! It's Tien's ki!"

"Thats my good boy, rest up for me while I'm out there and when they come out we can go in.

Gohan nodded as Goku vanished. Gohan smiled, he really wanted to learn that. Maybe Daddy would teach him that in the time chamber. What would Goku teach him while he was in there? Gohan's mind conjured up all kinds of scenarios...most involved him being able to floor Piccolo in a match though he knew that was impossible.
Piccolo...
His eyes went downcast at the thought. Piccolo was dead. But...didn't that mean the dragonballs...
Anger flared throughout Gohan's body and he sat there, his blood practically boiling. He could not have slept had he wanted to and he didn't. he didn't move from the spot he was standing in when Goku left but he stood there, smoltering.
