Life at the Inn (Open)

Aya stared at her for a second, surprised at the stubborn reaction from the otherwise polite girl. The older girl swallowed and tried to retain her composure, "Elcair, I'll tell you once to go change. It's rules that all traineers must wear the uniform. It is not inapporopriate, it is policy."

Aya crossed her arms, restating the phrase told to her by her trainer three months before, silently praying that the girl would just give in and change as Aya wasn't sure if she was ready for the next step.

Elcair looked shocked at her and shook her head again.

"How can it be?" She protested and pointed at the garment with distaste. "It looks like something from the Red Light district."

She looked envious at Aya's uniform which appeared to be long and more modest.

"Why can't I wear an uniform like yours?"

"Because you are just a trainee. If you get through your training then you can wear a uniform like mine but it must be earned and so far you are not doing a very good job." Aya crossed her arms, trying her hardrest to look stern but not doing a amazing job, "Now, you can speed this process along if you'd just change. Are you doing to or not?"

Elcair looked unhappy as she took the dress back and closed the blinds. After a few minutes with a lot of complaining, she stepped out of the dressing room in the trainee dress looking very disgruntled at he trainer.

"It's too short," She immediantly whined as tugged at the skirt. She honestly felt like a doll in the damnable thing. "I don't like it."

Aya sighed, noticing that they were running noticably late, something she would surely be getting scolded for later. "No complaining and it's you'd better learn to like it because you're going to be wearing it for quite awhile." She turned and rolled her eyes, motioning for her to follow.

Elcair followed unhappily behind the woman, poting childishly and muttering under her breath. She followed the woman to her new quarters and placed her bag in the room and hung up her dress.

"This still sucks," She muttered and followed Aya. She needed to see what the process of cleaning the different rooms.

Aya bit her lip, "Stop your pouting and muttering. You may be a trainee but this is still your job so act mature, please."

The older girl led her into a room. Inside, the bed was a mess and various things were misplaced. Aya crossed her arms, motioning for her to tackle the bed first. "Try making the bed. I'll overlook and make sure you do it correctly." She said, glancing at her watch rather boredly.

Elcair frowned but did what she was told. She pulled the covered in straight as she did the pillow before looking annoyed at Aya. It looked better then before but it wasn't properly done and still looked slightly sloopy.

"There." She voice held an edge to it, she was still trying to be friendly, but she was upset over the dress and kept tugging the bottom down.

Aya caught the hint of edge in her voice and sighed. She stepped over and re-did the bed correctly, "You must make sure all wrinkles are out of the bedspread and that the pillows are perfectly tucked one inch from the frame." Aya un-did the covers and messed it up like it was before, "Try it again. This time, put a little more effort into it." She said coldly, staring at the younger girl.

Elcair huffled for a moment and redid it with an almost violent manner, snapping the sheets hard and tucking them under the mattress and fluffing the pillow with the fore that would be a equal to a punch.

"There!" She snapped as she tossed the pillow in place.
