Like clockwork (Pippy-kun)
Mordecai knew he had to get better at self-control, but first things first, he needed motivation for it! As such, his motivation lay primarily with his problem: over-spending. It was probably a coincidence that he’d grown a liking to cigarettes at this time, and so part of his allowance was spent on smokes. For the most part, he spent his money on whatever he liked, whenever he liked and HAD money to spend. But.. zero money in his pockets didn’t mean he couldn’t borrow any from someone else.
Mordecai was a young Neko, 22 years old, and with scarcely enough sense to be living on his own. Hence why he’d been handed over to someone who was supposedly responsible, and more than capable of teaching Mordecai to live a better life. It wasn’t.. really working, so far, because tonight Mordecai had spent his time at a local bar, and had just arrived back home. Keyword: Arrived. The Neko was currently at the front door, trying to get the door open.
He was dressed in casual clothes; plain but practical. His furry cat ears and long, plumed tail were dark blue, with darker triangular stripes. His breath reeked of alcohol, and cigarette smoke, considering that he had in one hand a single, half-burnt cigarette.
When he couldn’t open the door for the eighth time, he turned round and leaned against it, sliding down to the floor.
