The mistress cleared her throat. “Well, Alexa came her half a year ago. She lived on the streets until she turned 12 years old, then she was brought into another orphanage where younger slaves life and started her training which she continued until now”, she explained.

Alexa just stood next to the man and listened.

Alfred seemed satisfied with the answers, briefly looking over the girl once more before turning to the Mistress.


“Very well. She is acceptable to me. You may excuse her to return to her quarters and begin collecting her things. We can finalize the paperwork tonight, and then I'll be back in the morning to pick her up. She may bring any personal effects that she possesses, but may only bring the clothes that she has on in the morning. I will have a wardrobe prepared for her, and her old clothes will be destroyed. If she has any garments with sentimental value, she may bring those and speak to me about them. I will make the final decision on what she is and is not allowed to keep, though.”


Alfred picks up the records once more as the Mistress escorts the child to the door. He notes her measurements, making a quick phone call to begin gathering her new clothes.

Alexa went back to her room which she was sharing with 4 other slaves.

"Lucky you", one of them, a girl names Shina said to her. "I hope you'll be happy over there...", she added and smiled honestly. Alexa hugged her. "Even if this is my biggest wish...I'll miss you all", she said and told them about the man which would become her master in the morning.

The girls listened interested and after some time of talking, Alexa started to collect her things, which weren't much. An old teddybear which needed to be washed urgently and her cleaning things which she got from the orphanage. The slaves where allowed to keep them in case that they find a master.

Alexa took all the things in a gym back and went to sleep.

The next morning, Alfred returns as promised, parking his Bentley at the front entrance to the orphanage as he waits for the girl to be escorted out to him. He had a long day planned for the new girl, so he wanted to get started as quickly as possible. This is why he chose Saturday as the day to pick her up. He didn't have as many responsibilities on the weekend as he did on weekdays. As the Mistress brings the girl out, he smiles in satisfaction.


“Well, come along now, Alexa. We have a lot of work to do to get you settled into your new home.”

At the next morning, Alexa stood up early and took a shower. After she got dressed and ready and brushed her teeth she cleaned the bathroom and took her gym back.

The mistress waited for her in the entrace area and smiled at her. "You're punctual, that is really good Alexa", she said. "Thank you m'am", Alexa answered politely.

Her eyes widened as she saw that her master picked her up with a bentley! She went to him as he told her so and waved goodbye to the mistress of the orphanage.

"Good morning master", she greeted him respectful as she sat down in the bentley.

“Good morning, Alexa. Let's get this started on the right foot, though. I do not like to be referred to as your master. You may call me Sir if there is adequate need to be formal, and may call me Alfred at other times. I generally don't expect you to be formal, though, except when we are in the presence of company, or when you are in trouble with me. At those times, calling me Sir is appropriate.”


Alfred starts the car and puts it into gear, pulling away from the orphanage as he gives her one final chance to wave goodbye to her friends.


“There will be a lot of rules for you to learn, young lady, and I don't expect that you'll remember all of them from the start. For now, just work on not calling me master. We will discuss other things when we arrive at your new home.”

Alexa listened carefully and nodded after her new master told her about the lot of rules that she would need to learn. "I'm sorry Sir, I'll remember it", she said and watched Alfred driving.

After half of an hour, the car stops in the driveway of a small mansion. It wasn't as grand as many of the buildings that they've passed to get here, but it was still far more than many people had to live in. Alfred gets out of the car, parking it next to the front steps as he walks up to the door and waits for Alexa to follow him.


“I will show you to your bedroom, first, and then I'll give you a tour of the house and explain what your duties and expectations will be.”

Alexa took her gym bag, went out of the car and followed her new master willing to the front door. She nodded. "Okay", she said, to reply and to make sure that he would knew she listened.

Alfred opens the door and leads her into the home, which is reasonably expansive on the inside. He doesn't give her much opportunity to look around, though, as he takes by the hand and walks her upstairs and down a short hallway. They pass a few doors along the way, but he says nothing about their contents, for now. When he finally stops at a door, he opens it and leads her inside.


“This will be your bedroom. All of your possessions will be kept in here. I've taken the liberty of acquiring a few creature comforts for you, as well as sufficient clothing for the next few months.”


The wall to the right is dominated by a canopy bed, large enough to be very comfortable for someone of Alexa's size and age. There is a television in the room, as well as a desk, a computer, and a small stereo. Besides the entrance, there are also four other doors in the room. Two are in the left wall, one located in the center and one closer to the far corner. The other two doors are located in the far right corner, one on each wall.


“Creature comforts are privileges, though, and can be taken away if they're found to interfere with your duties to the household.”
