“Well.” Arlo smiled at the compliment, “Thank you, but that took years of learning though, trust me, I used to be rebellious and an angry teenager.” Arlo looked a bit shocked then shook his head, “No ma’am, as adorable as you are, I would get charged for kidnapping.” <She so inhibited, its amusing but a bit worrying> he thought before offering, “You can however spend some time hanging around, let me finish with this car, then how about a drink and a snack?” it was quite the sunny day.

Arlo finished washing away the few suds left on his car, rolling up the holes, he attached it back to the house, "Sure, I have a few good choices for you too, coming off of one of my baking highs." Arlo chuckled at that, female or male, he always loved to bake, not all the way from scratch but just about. Getting two towels off of the two seats on his porch, he offered one out, "Want to help me dry? It will go faster." though took no offense if Sora refused. <I don't think we are on the same page here> he had been thinking about her little whisper. "Well, I sure can accompany you back home, no problem." Arlo finally answered with a smile. He had seen a bit o the neighborhood but not all sense he recently moved in.

"Wow, you can bake? Thats cool.", Sora said friendly in a kinda excited tone. She loved baked treats and didn´t get them very often.
"I can. Sure.", she accepted his suggestion and took the towel. She had never done it before, though. "Just rubbing it off?", the girl asked, a bit unsure.
"Cool.",she added when he offered to take her home,"But maybe only later, okay? Lets get to really know each other."

(Haven´t thought about her home situation yet, any ideas? Sorry if my posts are getting a bit short...)

(As for her home life, we were thinking along the lines of maybe she is a foster kid whose foster parent just wants that check? Or maybe she is an unwanted kid to a parent or parents)
(I could play said parents or parents if you want to go deeper in with Sora)

“That’s right, just rub it off, it helps prevent water spots which happen even if we let the car air dry.” Arlo explained having learned that from experience. Coming over, he gently showed her just how to wipe along.

“Just like that.” then patting her shoulder, Arlo went around to the other side and started drying, “Sounds good, you go first, what else would you like to know?” a broad question but Arlo was sure Sora had some!

Sora followed his (its his right?) instruction.
"Hmm...I don´t have any question in particular. Just tell me anything at all!", she suggested smiling brightly. The girl looked very friendly and fragile just know. Like she really needed protection from this big bad world. Or at least a friend. Lucky they were living in a good neighborhood. At least fairly good.

( Yes, I think so too and she could be lonely, her basic needs could be taken care of like, food, water, shelter but she is ignored with everything else?)

The brunette thought a moment. Where to start about himself?
“Well I have a twin, that always something cool, we are identical, well not much anymore but we love each other still very much.” which was not to be said of his other relatives, disowned came up a lot when Arlo tried to connected with them on social media, anyways happy stuff!

"Cool! Thats a well paying job right? You must be friggin loaded.", she laughed happily. Sora looked off into the distance for a moment. She wasn´t getting much attention at home, so this talk was really nice. "So...can we get to your place? You promised me something baked, right?", the girl pleaded.

(Yeah, maybe not totally ignored, but not the best relationship with her parents.)
