Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on AnimeOTK:

Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising.
Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts)
Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising.
Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.
All donators of $10 or more will never see an advert on our site again!

I just finished playing the current version, and I enjoyed it quite a bit. A few thoughts:

1. Can you give us any insight into what you have planned for the gameplay of the full game? As is, the gameplay seems to be *wander around town, and get into trouble/do stuff for people." Is that basic structure your end goal, or do you plan on expanding it into a story of some kind? The game's structure as is is fine, I'm just curious.

2. There's a fair amount of running across large open spaces (i.e. the road to Oldwall) with only one thing of interest in them. Those kinds of places tend to waste the player's time with boring "run from one end to the screen to the other." If the game isn't going to be your standard dungeon crawling RPG, then I'd suggest keeping such areas small. I want to *play your game* not waste time running across wide open spaces.

3. How difficult would it be to make the spankers/spankee gender configurable? Nothing I've played so far seems to demand that the spankers/spankees be a specific gender. If you gave the player a choice at the beginning to indicate which gender they prefer for spankers, spankees, and switches then you wouldn't have to worry about making sure that the genders are balanced, or writing scenes involving genders you're not particularly interested in.

4. It looks like this is shaping up to be a "find the item and solve the puzzle" style adventure game. Have you considered looking at something like Inform for something like that? Inform is geared more towards those style games than RPGMaker is (which is geared towards JRPG style games). I played with Inform for a while, but ended up abandoning it, because it wasn't powerful enough for what I wanted. I'm not suggesting you scrap your current work and use Inform instead. I'm just putting it out there as a tool that could be useful for future projects of this style.

5. Where'd you get the sound effects? I was pleasantly surprised by how powerful just the sounds, and some dialogue where (I was initially quite disappointed to see there were neither pictures nor descriptions, but I warmed up to it). I'm thinking it might be worth considering incorporating such sound effects into my own game.

6. I loved the chuckle that the thief gives. Really added a bit of extra spice to the whole thing.

7. The fact that you can run around stealing people's underwear, and then putting it on tickled me more than a little.

7. Considering that your spanking scenes consist "only" of a black screen and some dialogue, I'm thinking that your game might be at its best if you focus on having really good buildup. In other words, incorporate some roleplaying into dialogues with other characters, give your character (and others) the opportunity to attempt to resist being spanked, try to disobey spankers' orders, etc. I often find that half the fun of a spanking game is the interactive build up to the spanking.

8. Also, do the implements you can buy do anything yet? Are you supposed to able to equip them, or do you plan on only having them trigger variations on scenes if they're in your inventory?

Anyway, keep up the good work. And if you ever decide that making your own game takes too much work, and energy, but you still want to contribute to a spanking game, I'd be happy to have someone to talk game design with.

1. I have no idea, I made this thing on a whim and people liked it, so now I have to come up with what I want to do with the gameplay. I have something of a story in mind, but it still requires quite a bit of work to be viable. Ideally, I'd like to gate town exploration somehow, like you can't leave until you've done everything in an area. Right now I'm working off of ideas from slightly peculiar existing games like Chulip and stuff.

2. There is always something in the huge open spaces, like on the road to Oldwall there's a small woodsman's cabin which is going to play into some later story stuff. They also serve as a method of choosing where you want to head to instead of just pulling up a menu as soon as you leave a town.

3. Pretty freaking difficult. I could do it, but I would essentially be creating 2 sets of entirely different spanking NPCs. Having them all not care if your player is male or female is not the best option, I realize, but it's definitely the the easiest.

4. I have used Inform before, and as far as I am aware, it is designed for text based games like Zork or old MUDs. I wanted there to definitely be movement around physical spaces, and graphics as well, so I'm not sure. Like I said this whole project started as a dumb thing to let me get used to using RPG Maker again.

5. The slap sound effects are from the SMACS idle game, and the swishes/laugh are from freesound.org.

6. I thought so too.

7. I don't even know why I included that, I just thought people would get a kick out of it, which I guess they did.

8. Not at the moment, but I was considering having certain NPCs have a favorite implement that if used on them would cause something special to happen.

I'm always open to talking game design, I'm a student of it after all.

Question....is the guard gonna have two separate spank scenes on Oldwall,one for when you get her panties and one when you steal anything else,or it'll be only for the panties,or the same scene for both?

The one who tells you you'll get in a world of pain if she catches you stealing.

1. Detective game! It would line up well with the current playstyle, and it could unfold lots of opportunities for spanking and being spanked. Being spanked by people who get irate at you constantly snooping around, or accusing them of things, getting spanked if you accuse someone of committing a crime and you're wrong, spanking people for information, spank the criminals...

It would also I think be conducive to the idea of focusing on elaborate buildups.

You could call it Spanklock Holmes.

2. How about some sort of teleport square then that allows you to jump to places of interest that you've already visited? I don't particularly mind running across open spaces the first time, because I don't know what's out there and you get the thrill of exploration. Backtracking across large open spaces is a pain though. Also, I for one like menus. They save me so much time.

3. I was afraid of that. Stupid RPGMaker.

7. I'm glad you did. I'm all for having lots of options open for determining how my character dresses (I'd love for there to be little flavor changes in spanking scenes too based on the style of underwear worn too, but that's asking for a lot).

I like the game. Good work. I hope you keep going. There are some couples, who would be good spankers. Why not find a way to involve them? I would like krrping the Switch in the inventory, to use it for spankings.

It makes sense,she could be the one to go after your butt if you steal things that aren't important to any other NPC on the town,such as balm and common items?

I gave this a try earlier. Don't have much in the way of comment other than to say I like what I see so far. Nice to see a lot of erotic spanking in there, it's something that can sometimes feel a bit overlooked.

On that subject, it'd be nice to be able to go back to the magician in the inn (after she tans your hide for barging in) and trade some swats in either direction...

Edit: It'd be good for willing spankees' butts to recover over time, and for them to turn down an offer of more if they're already too toasted

Anyhow, keep up the good work!

So I sort of accidentally made Mina...


I was originally making just some generic demoness, then I realized I had seen this face before. I believe she has canonically green eyes, but that's an easy thing to adjust. I'm not sure if I should do anything with it without her blessing first, but I could definitely incorporate it somehow.

EDIT: I've sent off a private message to Mina asking permission. We'll see what she says.
