Xaren calculated that the one way to avoid further bloodshed (and lessen the threat to his master) was Jetho's execution, their leader dead, his master and he would only have to deal with the truly loyal members of the court. So, as Jetho reached for the release bar on his precious Acklay's prison gate ("My beast CLIMBS Sith!") Xaren reached out, bringing his armed blade to the back of the hutt's head, and ignited his saber.

The effect was instant, and as Jetho's body slumped backward, Xaren let it fall against the long side of the blade, decapitating the already dead giant. The move had been brash, but effective, he'd thought the chamber silent before...

Mordren strode forward, around the gate, and stood at his kitten's side. The gesture next up was simple, as he stroked the boy's head, watching for any regroup the forces might attempt.

Three Gran ran toward the throne, their tri-eyed faces masks of confusion. Two large Gammorean followed after them with axes raised. Xaren purred up at his master as their enemies approached. "Do you want the pigs or the worm eyes master?" he hissed.

Xaren knew Gran preferred hand-to hand combat, their barred knives not withstanding, so in a flurry of saber strikes and great leaps, he releved two of them of their arms, the third he decapitated.

The gammoreans faired no better, evidenced by their blood splattered across two tables and the floor. The darth strode over to his kitten, and grabbed his barely covered ass with a smirk behind his mask.

Seeing as there were no witnesses, Xaren purred at his master's touch and nuzzled against him in a feline manner. "Well done master. the cowards had no way to stop us."

The cathar could tell that, beyond the pureblood's mask, he was smiling. His apprentice was one of the few beings who could bring such a reaction forth.
