Landon rolled his eyes when she whined about the smack since it had not been that hard. "You should listen to me when you're not well, Summer." He countered as he went to sit beside Abby again and looked over at the music and art teachers she'd picked. He read through their profiles and nodded, liking her choices. "Good, we'll call them all for interviews then." He said, printing the profiles and gesturing for Abby to go get them. "Why don't you show those to Summer before she bursts." He said, teasing the temperamental Neko girl on the couch since he knew she was probably stewing right now since she wanted to see and couldn't get off the couch.

Abigail smiled before she walked over and picked them up, she glanced over at Summer who was looking the other way and pretending not to care, Abigail walked over and sat down on the floor in front of her because she didn't want to make her sit up "Summer, these are the art teachers" Abigail said passing up a few papers "And these are the music teachers, if you want to see them" Abigail said passing up a few more
"I don't like this one" Summer said as she passed it down to Abigail
"Why not?" Abigail asked confused, she thought that she had picked good teachers
"She just seems really strict" Summer answered with a groan as she looked through the rest
"Yeah but she's used to working one-on-one" Abigail replied as she looked up at Summer who rolled her eyes

Landon watched as the girls looked over the papers, walking over and taking the paper that Summer had rejected from Abby to see which one it was. "How do you figure she's strict?" He asked then, since the description did not seem strict to him. He wouldn't force her to get a teacher she didn't want though so if this one was out then he'd just toss it in the trash, he was just curious about what made her reject this particular teacher over any of the others.

Summer shrugged "She just looks strict" Summer replied before she passed the rest down to Abigail "The rest look alright though" Summer added before she rested her head on the arm of the couch, she heard her stomach rumble and she rolled her eyes, how could she be hungry but still feel sick?

Landon just shrugged and tossed the resume in the trash when Summer protested it again. He called Charlotte into the room and told her to keep an eye on Summer and make sure that the girl stayed on the couch. "Come on Abby, let's go make some soup for Summer." He said then, hearing her stomach rumble and knowing that she'd need to eat something, it would even help with her nausea and he wanted to get Abby out of there so Summer might actually fall asleep for a while.

"I don't feel like eating anything, sir" Summer said as she groaned, Abigail squeezed Summer's hand before she pushed herself up and walked out with her master, she was worried about Summer and hoped that she would get better soon

(I wasn't sure either lol, that's why I suggested the time skip, we could skip to later that night when Summer will be a little better or to the next day, Abby has still got to find out about her real parents, so we can add that part soon too and about whats going to happen to Summer about the attack )

The next day Landon let the girls sleep in, having told them the night before that they could so they wouldn't get up and be ready for breakfast, and headed downstairs. He didn't want them around for his meeting with the PI just in case it was bad news. He greeted the man and went up to his office to discuss things. A little while later he thanked the PI and showed him back out before heading upstairs to see what the girls were up to, or if they were even awake yet. Summer's fever had broken the night before, so he hoped she was feeling better.

Abigail was up early the next morning and knew that her master was doing something that he didn't want them to know about because he normally didn't allow them to sleep in, she opened the door slightly as she saw her master walk with someone to the door, when she heard him walk back up the stairs she quickly closed the door and jumped onto Summer's bed as she gently tried to wake her up "Summer, wake up" Abigail said annoyed "At least get up to take my mittens off" Abigail said as Summer groaned but sleepily sat up and unlocked the mittens before she helped her pull them off and pretended to go back to sleep, she didn't care about the reason for the lie-in, she just decided to enjoy it
