"Great." He said, ignoring her comment about not being able to move since he didn't want to embarrass her, though it was nice to know that the man could do that to them. "Names Zane by the way." He introduced himself, looking over at Shana when she got up and started wandering toward the room where their master had gone. "Shana dont go in there." He called to her, though he was careful not to raise his voice since he didn't want to scare her. "He closed the door for a reason." He explained to her with a small smile.

Shana ignored Zane and curiously looked around the place while looking for Brooke's whereabouts, hearing faint talking coming from the room where Alakai was and wondered why he had to close the door. More secrecy she thought and scrunched up her nose, she didn't like secrets at all

He didn't try to stop her as she wandered down the hall, since it really wasn't his business if she got in trouble now that he'd warned her. "I'll come get you tonight, then we can go." He said to her, waiting for her to answer before pushing away from the wall and wandering away from Niryn so that when Alakai came back out he wouldn't see them talking and start wondering if they were up to something. Instead he looked around wondering where the black haired girl from before had gotten to, and wondering where the other kid was since Alakai told him that there were four other kids coming and there were only three here right now.

Niryn tried to nod without any success and sighed annoyed. It better not be like this for much longer, she was getting real angry with this and her temper was kicking in. That never being a good thing, her temper was quite notorious.

Shana wandered back and walked out sitting down on the porch thinking to herself about it all and what she could expect now she was going to live here, she had no intention to leave here, but she was frightened about staying as it all was so unfamiliar.

Brooke was sitting on the grass as she watched everything that happened, she had planned to walk into the mansion earlier but was distracted when she noticed other people arrive, she was glad that she decided to stay outside as the sun was beginning to break through the clouds which was helping her magic and energy levels, she stood up a few minutes later and walked into the mansion in a slightly better mood as she looked around for the people that arrived earlier

"That was all hte concerns I wanted to address" the cloaked mage said, handing over a small card that had his location information. "And if I hear anything about the other kids picking on her, or deliberately scaring her, I cna guarantee you that I will come back here and punish them myself" he said in a serious tone

(excuse me, we did wait for you. Alakai did not leave the room the only thing that happened while you were gone were the other kids talking to eachother which your character would not have been able to hear anyway, and Brook needed to post since she's been out of the story since she arrived. Plus, we still need to wait for Kiki so this cant even go farther than the kids/Alakai greeting Brook until she gets here. So that OOC message was unnecessary and rude.)

Zane glanced over as the black haired girl came into the room, she didn't look as unfriendly as the redhead so he figured it he might as well get the introductions out of the way now. "Hey. I'm Zane, what's your name?" He asked her, not being particularly friendly but not being rude to her either, he was pretty much neutral.

((I know, and I don't mean any offense, but there is a specific pattern to this, and so many do not notice it. When I went off, I half expected the rest of you to wiat, since the current conversation was between my character and Ravenmother's. That's what I mean by knowing when to post. If sometihng is aimed at a specific character, then only hte person who controls that character should post next, and all others must wait. That way, the RP goes a bit smoother and no one is left out. I only wish to help in that respect. All this is is helpful advice))

(when you went off there was also a conversation going on between Zane and Niryn that there was no reason not to continue since it could have been happening while your character was talking to Alakai and since the kids needed to finish it before Alakai came out of the room and caught them talking about running away. I'm not going to argue with you though, we're all trying to post in a way that lets the others reply so let's all just give eachother the benefit of the doubt and not assume people are trying to run off and exclude someone. Your man needs to reply to Alakai before anything can happen/before your little girl can come out and meet the others, so I would suggest that you do that and then we can all wait for Kiki)

Zane nodded in greeting when Brooke introduced herself, and he glanced toward the corner where Niryn was still stuck but did not introduce her since he figured if she wanted the other girl to know her name then she'd give it herself. "So you come here by choice or did someone make you come too?" he asked her then, curious, but was careful to keep his voice neutral so she would not realize that he and Niryn were unhappy with the situation and intended on leaving.
