Mirkwood visit (for NaughtyPirate)

Thranduil bent down and kissed Legolas cheek once he saw the blush.
Thranduil nodded at Elrond. "No, I imagine not. I am sure they will have much fun while they are all here. I can only hope wont cause too many headaches for us."


"It's a lot, Ada." Elladan replied.
"It's amazing!" Elrohir exclaimed, now bouncing with excitement, hoping to explore the vast palace at some point.

Legolas smiled and took his ada's hand.
"I think I can play with the twins later," he said, then an idea struck him.
"Ada!" he exclaimed.
"Ada, may I bathe with the twins?"


Elrond smiled down at them.
"I am glad you like it. It has been some years since you last visited."

"Yes, and it seems even larger now." Elladan answered.
Elrohir smiled and pointed to a large fountain. "I remember climbing the fountain though! It was fun!"



Thranduil stopped in front of a chamber's door. "This is your room, Elrond, with Elladan's room to the right and Elrohir's room to the left, if they so desire to have their own quarters."
Thranduil sighed at Legolas' question, knowing that Elrond had to clean himself as well. "I do not know, my little one, Lord Elrond has to also bathe himself." Thranduil replied, looking to Elrond.

"Why can we not all bathe together?" Legolas asked. He didn't understand the strangeness of his idea.


Elrond chuckled and said, "I certainly hope you don't do so again. It's quite dangerous to climb the fountains."

Elrohir absentmindedly nodded his head, but perked up when Thranduil showed them all his Ada's room. Caught up in the excitement he ran in and began jumping on the bed.
Elladan rolled his eyes at his brother and opted to stay in the hall with the others.


Thranduil gently squeezed his son's hand, knowing that he had missed his friends dearly and did not want to part with them so soon. "Perhaps you can bathe with the twins another time or maybe even go swimming sometime soon, but right now they need to bathe with their father." Thranduil said, hoping his son would understand.

Sensing trouble, Elrond pulled his sons to a stop, and knelt down before them.
"Little ones, do not find ideas in my warnings," he said.


Legolas smiled a little, pleased with his father's idea.
He swung his hand, and smiled.
"Will you bathe with me, Ada?" he asked, a sweet smile on his face.

Thranduil tapped his chin in mock consideration before scooping his son up and tossing him in the air once. "I suppose I could do that." Thranduil smiled as entered his own room, making his way to the bathing chambers and began to fill his bath.


Elladan, the occasional more sensible twin, nodded. "Yes, Ada." Although the fountain did look fun for climbing.
Elrohir gasped. "But, Ada, warnings are merely suggestions! I did know that the same rules from home applied here, that is unfair!" He said, stomping his little foot.

Elrond arched a brow at him, a warning sign for his sons to know they were treading on dangeroud ground.
"My warnings are not suggestions, little headstrong," he told Elrohir.
He turned to Elladan, and added, "The rules are the same here, if not a bit stricter. We are guests in this realm, and I expect you to behave in the proper manner."

"Even stricter?" Elladan replied worryingly.

"But we won't have any fun then." Elrohir whined as he stomped his foot once more, fatigue from the journey making him a little irritable. "I would not mind if guests in our home didn't have rules!"

"Not stricter, I suppose," Elrond corrected himself, drawing the water for their bath.
"Perhaps needed more here," he told them.


Legolas giggled and hugged his ada tightly.
"I want to play in the meadow, Ada!" he said.
