Tilly beamed at him when Jake said they could be friends, "Yay!" she cheered happily and then slid down from the sofa, grinning when he asked her what she wanted to play. "Hand stands! I'm really good, Jakey! Lookie!" she told him, doing her handstand regardless of her blue dress falling up and showing off her little white knickers. "It's tons of fun! You try!" she laughed, toppling over and just giggling happily.

Jake laughed as the girl did a handstand, watching as she toppled over and fell on her back, giggling away as she did. "I don't think I'm as good at those as you are" he said playfully, walking over to her and picking her up, before giving her a playful dust down and a little poke to her tummy, "last time I tried doing one of those, I ended up knocking over my bookshelf".

Tilly giggled, holding her arms out to him as he picked her up. She giggled as he poked her tummy and then gasped when he said he almost knocked over his bookshelf trying to do a handstand. "Did your Mummy or Daddy give you a smacked bum?" she asked curiously and laid her head on his shoulder, smiling softly. "Jakey, can I sleep in your bed, with you tonight?" she asked, eyes pleading.

Jake chuckled at her question, finding it rather cute. "No" he said, smiling down at her as he spoke, "they never did that, though I think there were times when I could have done with one when I was a kid, so I don't think a smacked bottom is such a bad idea". He was a little surprised when she asked to sleep in his bed, having not expected to hear that from the child. Still, he understood that staying in a strange place could be a little scary, so he smiled and nodded. "Sure" he said, lifting her up and sitting her in his arms as he spoke, "if that's what you want".

"Were you naughty when you were a kid?" Tilly asked with a giggle and then asked if she could sleep in Jake's bed that night, it was the first night and when it got dark, she got scared. She beamed as he told her she could. "Yay! Thanks Jakey...I don't like it when it's dark...scary monsters live in the dark." she told him and laid her head on his shoulder again. "We could stay awake allll night and then the monsters won't get us cause they'll be scared of you." she told him with a bright grin.

It would be nice to get to stay up all night.

"I had my moment" he told the girl when she asked if he was naughty, "but I'm sure that a good smacked bottom would have probably made me more well behaved". When he saw her light up when he told her she could sleep with him, he smiled, hugging her back as he felt her wrap her arms around his neck. "Well I don't think we could stay up all night" he said playfully, giving her ears another little scratch as he spoke, "but if you get scared, then just hug up against me, and I'll stay awake until you fall asleep".

"Uh huh, a smacked bottom always makes me better behaved." Tilly answered with a small blush and then smiled brightly when Jake told her that if she got scared she could just hug against him and he'd stay awake until she slept. "Thanks Jakey!" she said brightly, big blue eyes sparkling. "You're really nice Jakey, I like you a lot." she told him, hugging him around the neck but not tightly.

Jake chuckled at the girls response, continuing to hug her back as he felt her nuzzle against him. "I like you to" he said, smiling as the child clung onto him. When she said that a smacked bottom always made her better behaved, he laughed, finding that statement rather cute. "Well then" he said playfully, giving the girls bottom a few soft pats as he spoke, "I must remember that if ever I catch you misbehaving".

Tilly looked shocked for a minute when Jake said he liked her back and then she blushed, smiling brightly. She was happy he liked her. She then giggled when he patted her bottom, liking how that felt. "Aww Jakey, 'm not gonna get in trouble for just one night." she giggled, since that was how long she was going to stay there for and she didn't think she'd earn herself a smacked bottom in that short amount of time.

She rubbed her eyes some and yawned, "When is it bed time?"

"Not for a couple of hours" he said, looking outside and seeing the sun begin to set. Just then, another thought crossed his mind, making him wonder how on earth this hadn't occurred to him originally. "Now then" he said, smiling as he looked down at Tilly, giving her tummy a playful prod as he spoke, "how about we get you something yummy for your tummy?".
