Multiversal Mishaps (For Crooked)

Waiting a few moments at it glanced down at Lara, the other golem finally tapped it's companion on the shoulder, pointing first at the podium, and then making a series of gestures in some kind of silent communication. While quite a bit must have been said, it was obvious the gist of it revolved around the missing idol, as the stone gaurdian pointed several times at the podium.

Though she was still crying, her loud screams had turned to softer sniffles, the archeologist now gazing up in surprise as she saw the other golem actually up and not in full attack mode on her partner. Craning her neck a bit to find the girl in question, Lara attempted to push herself up some, trying to somehow get free.

Before she could rise, though, a two-hundred pound karate chop gently pushed her right back down into position. The golem wasn’t so easily convinced, it seemed, though it’s unmoving eyes did stare back at it’s companion with… really, no expression on it’s unchanging face. Somehow, though, it appeared to be considering what it’s stone companion was implying. Then, it moved it’s head over, taking a shameless look at Lara’s still bared bottom, as if it were reluctant to let her go simply because of her gorgeous figure.

Elly, meanwhile, had forgotten everything about escape. She had no desire to return to the awful trap-filled temple, and she didn’t have much other options, so she stayed on the ground, nursing her poor bottom, all the while muttering “Ooh… oww…”

Finally, the golem shook it’s head, pinched the back of Lara’s hair, and lifted her up. It lowered her rather carelessly back down to the ground, then looking to it’s companion. It gestured in confusion, as if to ask ‘where is the idol, then?’

Giving a rather humane shrug in response that silently said, "Well how am I supposed to know?" the other statue now solemnly stared at the empty altar, seeming to forget completely about the human girl it had been punishing.

Hissing in pain, the near naked archeologist stayed absolutely still as she cast a tear eyed side glance towards the miffed gaurdians, waiting a few moments to see if they were truly not focused on them before turning at her companion."Elly! Up! We need to go, NOW!" She whispered loudly, moving to her hands and knees now as she began a fast crawl around the podium to the exit. For sure, a shameless display trying to waddle on all fours with her bottoms around her ankles, but dammit she'd CRABWALK if it meant avoiding another one of those stony spanks on her behind.

Hm. Well, this was a real pickle for the stone golem. It's one purpose was to protect that idol, but now it was most definitely gone, slipped into one of the narrow hallways it had no chance of pursuing. What was a giant to do? Besides go back to sleep. So, with a defeated nod, the golem returned to it's post, where it reassumed it's posture from before... and suddenly went rigid.

Elly blinked as she watched the whole thing. Nothing made sense any more. But what she did know was, she was promised riches... and after all she'd been through, damn it, she was going to get them! So while Lara stumbled past her, shorts and panties still down by her ankles and showing off her bright, glowing orbs, still as jiggly and gorgeous as ever, Elly swept her hair behind her as she took up chase. "Right behind you!" She promised.

And so she was! The two turned into the next corridor, a long, winding hallway leading straight to their left and turning, seemingly to head back to the temple entrance. Lara and Elly barreled through it with no mind for any traps that might be afoot; they were after that mystery girl!... whoever she was.

"Hey! I know! This isn't! The best! Time!" Elly huffed inbetween heavy breaths, trying to keep pace with Lara, "But! Who are we! Chasing! And why do we want! This idol?!"
