Where to get music for your games?

Bit of a specific question, I know. But I'm genuinely curious. And also maybe thinking of working on a project myself.


I know there's some free to use music out there, but I'm concerned since a lot of them specify not to use their music in an obscene or inappropriate way, etc. And I figure these sorts of games might fall under that banner. Is there any other source for music that you guys know of?

Look for stuff licensed with CC0 attribution. There's a lot of decent and even good stuff in the creative commons, and the CC0 license is the most open. The Free Music Archive is a great aggregator and you can specify CC0 in your search.
