"I'm special?!" Clark asked, eyes shining with happiness and he then nodded, landing down on his feet. "Fanks Daddy!" he threw his arms around him in a hug and grinned, "Can we play soccer?!"

Victor sighed, feeling like a total asshole and he started looking around for the boy...what was his name now? "Bruce?" he asked, tone more gentle but still pretty gruff. "Look...I didn't mean what I said kid...." he sighed again.

Logan was still confused at being referred to as 'daddy', but just accepted it and moved on with the time. "Yeah...not many people can fly Kid." He said, patting Clark on the head. "Sure Kid...we can play some soccer." Logan said softly...showing Clark to the backyard.

Bruce heard the man call his name, whimpering softly. Victor...yes that was his name...he sounded kinda scary. He bit his lip, hearing the man didn't mean what he said. Bruce sniffled a bit, trying hard not to cry. "Y-You don't want me...I-I wanna go h-home..."

Victor heard the sniffling and he reached out under the bed to scoop up the kid, holding him at arms length. "Look...I never said I didn't want ya...kid." he sighed and softened his look a little. "I dont mind ya being here...I'm just not used to looking after kids..." he sighed and carried him downstairs, "Hungry or something?"

"Yay! Come on Daddy!" Clark beamed, taking his hand and running out to the garden with him, looking around for the soccer ball. "Wants to play soccer!" he said and grinned up at the man with the side burns. "Where's the ball Daddy?"

Bruce cried out in alarm when he was pulled out, avoiding looking the man in the eye. The tough kid from earlier was gone, and all that was left was a frightened, lonely little boy. "'m okay...you don' have to feed me." He said quietly, planning on running off later tonight. Bruce was smart, he could live on the street.

Logan was a bit baffled by how positive this child was, but went along with it. He grabbed a ball, passing it lightly to the little boy with a small smile. "Here Kid." Logan said, before waiting for the kid to make a move.

Victor shook his head, "Well I kinda do, you gotta eat." he informed and carried him into the kitchen, sitting him down on the side. "What do kids eat?" he asked the young man.

Clark grinned happily and caught the ball, "Come on Daddy! Lets play!" he said, smiling wide.

Bruce was silent when he was carried down into the kitchen, before gazing up at Victor in confusion. "I don' know...w-whatever adults eat...I guess." He said softly, shrugging. "Mister? I-if you don' like kids...why did you take me?"

Logan chuckled softly, nodding. "Sure Kid...let's play." He agreed, gesturing for Clark to kick the ball back to him. "If you can take me."

Victor groaned, why did he have to ask that of all questions. "Well..." he walked over and started making the kid a bacon sandwich. "I liked you I guess." he answered, thinking he might upset the boy if he told him that he had to do it.

Clark smirked and nodded, kicking the ball hard and hitting Logan's 'tenders' "Haha yeah! Bullseye!" he grinned, punching the air.

Bruce crossed his arms, not believing the answer for a second. "If you say so Mister." He said quietly, sitting down on one of the chairs. Bruce eyed the room, on edge. This was a normal apartment...normal amount of windows. He'd have to do some acrobatics...but nothing impossible.

Logan grunted in pain, before the healing factor kicked in and he charged the young boy. He threw Clark over his shoulder, tickling the young boy mercilessly. "Bullseye."

Victor sighed, "I have a name you know, just call me Vic." he informed and then put down the bacon sandwich for him. "Sauce?"

Clark squealed with laughter and kicked his legs, "Ahhh Daddy nooooo!!!" he giggled happily and tried to squirm free.

Bruce nodded at the introduction, thinking he wouldn't be here long enough to use the name. "Okay Sir." He said softly, shaking his head. "No thank you." Bruce added, taking a bite of the sandwich. He hadn't even something this good in a long time.

Logan smiled in spite of himself, finding the laughter and smiles to be contagious. "Yes, this's what happens to little brats." He teased, tucking Clark under his arm and pretending to forget he was trapped there.
