Clark giggled a bit and looked out of the window as the world went rushing by and he looked to his cousin when he said he wanted to climb trees. "I don't...but I bet you could do it." he answered and nodded in unison with his cousin at the mention of the movie, "Can we watch Coraline, Uncle Vic?"

Victor looked back every now and again to make sure the boys were alright and at the mention of the movie, he chuckled and nodded, "Alright, Bruce are you alright with watching Coraline?" he asked, wanting them to agree on a DVD to watch.

While Bruce thought about it, Clark slipped his seat belt off and moved closer to the back of his Daddy's seat. "Daddy, how long will it take to get there?"

"Well, you can fly. I can't...and it's like flying when I'm way up high." Bruce explained, before considering the movie options. "I guess Papa...I'm okay with it if Clark wants to watch it." He agreed, before curling up and enjoying the sun on his face.

Logan glanced behind him, giving his son a stern look. "Longer, if I have to stop the car and spank you for taking off your belt while Daddy is driving." He said firmly, keeping an eye on Clark to make sure his son put the damn thing back on.

Victor smiled and nodded his head, handing his son the movie to put in the portable DVD player he'd bought him last Christmas and he looked over to see his nephew had taken off his seat belt. "Put it back on, Clark, we don't want you to get hurt."

"...Okay.." Clark whined, putting it back on, he didn't want to get spanked and his Daddy seemed really mad at him now. He curled up against the window and tried to hide the tears in his eyes, maybe going to the beach wouldn't be much fun after all...

Logan sighed when his son began to tear up, and he reached a hand back to gently rub the little leg. "I'm not angry with you Pup, I just want you to be safe." He soothed softly, continuing to lightly rub so that Clark could have some form of comfort.

Bruce leaned over and hugged his friend, before popping in the DVD. "Here...we can watch a movie Clark." He said softly, pressing play to try and cheer his friend up a little bit.

Clark sniffed sadly and then looked up at his Daddy, feeling better when he rubbed his leg and nodded, "I'm sorry Daddy." he answered and then smiled at his friend when he said they could watch a movie, and he nodded, "Okay, I like Coraline." he answered, moving closer to his cousin.

Logan smiled encouragingly when his son cheered up a little bit, before focusing his attention on driving once again. He hoped that the boys weren't all that freaked out by the movie, because it gave him the creeps. "That's my good boy." Logan praised, before moving into the faster lane.

"Papa, do we have water?" Bruce asked softly, looking up from the movie and tapping his father on the shoulder.

The movie did freak Clark out in some places, especially the parts where the other mother sewed Wybie's face into a smile and when the other father said 'he pulled a loooooong face' he hated those parts. But he liked the talking cat and the jumping mice. "Daddy how come Coraline has blue hair? Can I have blue hair?" he asked.

Victor smiled and nodded, reaching round to tickle his son before handing him a bottle of water he'd packed. "I've also packed you guys some snacks for the journey so let me know when you want them, kiddo." he said gently to Bruce. "How are you liking the movie?"

"Because it's animated Clark, so they can have special colors that we can't." Logan explained, before snorting and looking back at his little boy. "Why don't you ask me that in ten years Kiddo? Then we'll talk about changing your hair color." He said, giving the little leg a gentle squeeze.

Bruce thanked his father and took a sip, before yawning and nodding. "It's okay...some parts are kinda weird...I think her other-mother is really scary." He admitted, snuggling closer to Clark with a slight shudder. "I don't like her at all."

"But I'll be eighteen then, ten years is too long Daddy, I can dye my hair now." Clark whined and snuggled close to his cousin when he said he didn't like the other mother, and he wrapped his arms around him. He didn't mind her so much, but the button eyes were creepy. "It's okay Bruce, she can't hurt you." he explained, holding him close.

Victor smiled at the sight of them both cuddled up together, he just hoped the movie wouldn't give them nightmares.

"No Kiddo, not until you're at least seventeen." Logan said firmly, before listening to his son comfort his friend. He was wary of letting watch the movie, but hopefully the boys wouldn't be too scared of it. The other mother then transformed into the twisted version of herself, and Bruce let out a terrified little shriek.

"PAPA!" Bruce flung himself forward and grabbed onto his father's arm, trembling slightly.
