A New Addition To The Family ((For Komuro))

Umeko has been told she was very smart and mature for her age and she was good a school to. She watches as her father picks up the crying dog girl and carries her over to an old couch that was a little worn and torn, but still can be sit on. It was big enough for all three to sit on and she took a seat next to her father as he places the Hinata on his lap. She she wrapped her arms around him and was crying into his chest. While he tells her that in his will he left her in his care.

She looks up at him with teary red eyes and sniffles. She was breathing quickly, like trying to catch her breath. She was a little scared to be going off with someone she did not know fully, but there was not a lot of people she could say she trust. Hiroshi is always first, then Fujioka would be second and she met the lawyer once before but she did not like him. Yet she only heard good things about Takashi and she wouldn't believe that her master would lie to her. Still the fact he is forever gone still upsets her. Feeling like the tears would never stop.

Just then Umeko pulls out a box of honey flavor pocky from her bag. Before they left she manages to pack a few snacks for the car ride. She then pulls out a stick and hands one to Hinata. Who looks at her with a puzzle look on her face. "When I'm sad, I sometimes eat sweet things and it's honey flavor and I was told that honey makes your throat feel better crying." she tells her.

Hinata takes one of the stick and sniffs it. "Tha-Thank you." she said with her voice sounding a bit hose. She was taught to say please and thank you when offered or given something. She takes a bite out of the sticks and she liked the taste so she starts to nibble on it. Which seemed to do the trick. She seemed to settle down.

"Good idea Umeko." he praised, appreciating her help alot. Just then he seemed to have remembered something. "Oh! I frogot to bring in the groceries for dinner tonight." he gets up and sets Hinata on the couch next to Umeko. "I know something else that'll cheer you up. My special curry!" he said as he hurried out back to the car. He comes back it heads straight into the kitchen with a bag full of ingredients for chicken curry. He spreads everything out onto the counter and got started. Withen minutes the delicious smell of curry fills the house.

She soon polishes off the pocky stick and thought it was really good. While she did not feel like crying anymore. She is still sad. Just then Takashi sets Hinata down and tells then that he was going to make his special curry then runs to the car. Bringing bags of food into the house, heading towards the kitchen. "You'll really like papa's curry. It's super yummy." Umeko tells the dog girl.

Hitnata sits on the couch while Umeko sat close to her. Sensing she could use a friend right about now. Soon the smell of the curry filled the room and the dog girl gets up from the couch and goes into the kitchen, follow by Takashi's daughter. "That does smell really yummy." she tells Umeko. "I know. He does not make it that most and that's why it's good." she tells her. They stayed at the door frame and watched Takashi cook.

Curry was the ultimate camping food and this was no exception. Made it for special occasions and outings like this. He takes a sip of the curry for taste testing. "Perfect." he comments as he then starts plating, portioning the steamed rice and covering it in the delicious curry sauce with bits of chicken in it. "Go sit at the table girls it's time to eat." he told them as he brought their plates to the table followed by cups of ice water. He then goes to get his plate and drink and joins them at the table. He claps his hands together and say's "Ittadakimasu" before partaking.

When the food was done, Hinata's tail was wagging a bit. It's been awhile since she ate a cooked meal. Both girls took a seat at the dining table and looked at the for before them. Umeko was smiling happily for she does not eat it that often. For the other girl, her eyes were wide opened and was staring it at very closing, like it was a piece of art. Once Takashi joins them at the table, they to clapped their hands together and thanked for the meal before they ate.

Umeko took a spoonful and giggle. "This is really, really, yummy. Papa makes the best curry." she said happily. Meanwhile Hinata was shoveling the the curry down her mouth, getting the sauce and rice all over her face. Her tail was wagging even more, a sign she was really happy. "This is good. But it be better if they were dogopus in it." she said. "Dogopus? There's no such thing." Umeko tells the dog girl. "No they are real. Hiro-san always made then for me. They are small and looked like thumbs but with tentacles and have no face! They are really, really good!" she tells her excitedly. It seemed that Hiroshi made up a name for his pet's favorite dish.

Soon both girls finished their meals and Hinata licked her plate clean til there was nothing left on it. Though her face was messy. Unlike his daughter who had a tiny messy face. She pulls out a handkerchief and wipes her face clean. Meanwhile Hinata leaned in her seat and looked stuffed and happy. "That was so good." she sighed happily.

He was pleased to hear that Hinata was enjoying his cooking. He tilts his head sideways when she mentioned dogapuss. He had to take a moment to figure out what she was talking about. Then snapped his fingers. "I know what you're talking about and I'll keep that in mind." he assured her. He takes a napkin and wipes Hinata's face. "There now it's bath time." he said as he scooped her up out of the chair and carried her into the bathroom, gesturing Umeko to follow.

The bathroom was relatively clean and he had tested the water preasure earlier which was strong enough. He sets Hinata down and proceeds to strip her down.

Hinata sat still for Takashi as he wipes her face. Hiroshi did the same for her as well. Always making a light joke of how she was a messy eater. When he said it was bath time. She was suddenly picked up and wrapped her arms around him. While Umeko follows them to the bathroom which was on the first floor.

The bathroom was an old style to fit with the house. The floor looked like it was made of gravel, the tub was round and made of wood and tall, Which is why it had a step stool to help people get in and out. It was also big for three people. But it had some modern fixtures. Like there was a shower with detached head and a couple of stools to sit on. Also there was a fossett by the tub that controlled the water temp. Lastly there was a large window that looks out to the path to the mountain. Which can still been seen a little, but not for much longer as the son was setting.

Once Hinata was put down, she was being stripped out of her clothes. She did not put up a fight and was soon bare as the day she was born. With her tail being so fluffy, it covered her bottom very well. Meanwhile Umeko starts to remove her clothes. Then sets them off to the side and her bag as well. Then removes the ribbon from her hair and puts that in her bag. For the ribbon is a memento of her mother and always wants to make sure it was safe.

Takashi finds a old fashion wooden stool and sits her down upon it. Once he stripped himself down he starts filling the tub with hot water, the bathroom slowly starts to steam up. He then sits behind Hinata in the seiza position and takes the detatchable shower head and starts rinsing her down.

He notices a bottle of kids shampoo, most likely meant for her so he takes it and pours it onto his hand. He then gently starts scrubbing her hair thoroughly, and massagingly. Once her hair was rinsed off he takes a bath sponge and lathers it with body wash and starts gently scrubbing her from her neck down to her tip toes, tickling them to get a laugh out of her. "Alright! You are now squeaky clean Hinata." he declared as he dumps a bucket of warm water on top of her to rinse her off. "You may go may step into the tub to soak." he allowed.

The dog girl sat perfectly still for Takashi as he set her down on the stool. There was a bottle of child friendly shampoo with a fruity scent that Hiroshi got for her. For she really enjoys it. Her wet wagging tail shows it. It wagged a little faster as he scrubs hair long hair. Her former master was very gentle with her head as he used to scrub her hair. As he washes her body. She wiggled a little when he reached certain area and giggled. Seemed she was a little ticklish. When he got tot he toes, she was laughing hard. "No! No! I'm tickle easy!" she laughs out. Once the soap was rinsed off, she was told to soak in the tub. She nods his head and gets in there. Smiling for it was warm.

Meanwhile Umeko watched as her father spend time with the little dog girl. While she understands the he was being nice to her because she just lost someone she cared for. She is not really used to sharing her father with anyone else. Once Hinata was in the tub, she took her place on the stool.

"Alright Umeko, your turn." he said to her. Once she took Hinata's place on the stool he repeats the process onto to Umeko, scrubbing her thoroughly and gently. "I hope you're okay with sharing some attention with Hinata, Umeko. You've never had a sibling before and I pretty much consider her a daughter more than a pet." he said. He then rinses her off and lets her join Hinata in the tub, giving her a playful slap to her bottom.

Now all that was left was himself. He quickly washes himself for he was eagerly awaiting to join them. He finishes then sits on one side opposite of the girls, sighing blissfully. "Oh yeah... this sorely needed after a long long drive." he chuckled.
