Lexi grew bored and tired of waiting for him to finish what he was doing and so the little girl ended up getting up and wandering off, her curiosity getting the better of her once again. The little one roamed through the house, looking into the various rooms and trying to find something of interest to occupy herself with while Kyle was busy.

Lexi was still wandering around, the girl having found something that looked like a home office or study, and now she was climbing up on a chair so that she could more closely examine the contents of a bookshelf. She was a curious child and since she wasn't tall enough to see what was on the bookshelf from the floor that meant that she had to climb up onto something in order to be able to see.

Lexi was a little bit startled when she heard the sound of Kyle's voice and because of that she lost her balance a bit, the girl yelping as she tipped slightly on the chair. The little one managed to recover from that however and she looked over her shoulder at her foster father as she said, "But 'm looking at stuff." She protested the order to get down as she was still trying to see what was on the bookshelf.

"Works for both," the little girl told him as she turned around and plopped down on the chair, hearing his order to come to him but not really wanting to actually go through with that one. "Don' wanna come," she told him, pouting slightly since he had once again interrupted what she was trying to do and the little girl didn't like that the least bit.

"'beying ish worse," Lexi told him when he once again told her to come and said that disobeying was bad, the child recalling what had happened before and to her way of thinking it was worse when she went over to him. That wasn't exactly the best way for her to be thinking however she was little and so to her it seemed to be the case and that made her reluctant to do as he was telling her.
