The newest and youngest Guardian

Star-Lord gave Rocket a look that seemed like a challenging look, but he quickly dismissed the thought since they were busy and looked over at Luke, "Take anything you think you'll need and if you're going to take that baseball bat don't hit any of us with it," he told him, grabbing the bat from it's hiding place and handing it to the kid.

Rocket stared back, basicly daring Star Lord to try to spank him but luckily for him he did not attempt to do it. Luke shook his head when Star Lord offered him his basebal bat. "You must have much better weapons on your ship , I´ll just get some clothes and my labtop and then we can go.",he told him and went back to his room were he packed everything. After a couple of minutes he was ready but hesitated for a moment, feeling bad because his father would probably think he had been abducted or something similar. This would not be easy to explain if he ever returned after his adventure.

Star-Lord shrugged and set the bat aside then looked at the boy again when he came back into the room "You ready to go kid, do you want to leave a note or something for your parents?" he asked the boy since he knew that leaving his parents and life behind had to be somewhat difficult for a kid.

"Yeah, but I am not certain what I should write them...",he said, quickly grabbing a piece of paper and a pen. He wrote a note and left it in front of the door of his parents bedroom.
"Okay, we can go...",he told them and opened the front door for Peter and Rocket.

"Alright, oh wait hold on," Star-Lord said before going over and picking up the clothing store bag and holding it open for Rocket to get into, "Sorry, it's just until we get back to the woods," he told Rocket with an awkward sympathetic look.

Rocket grumbled slightly but jumped into the bag. Luke tried his best not to grin and only partially succeded. Luckily Rocket did not see that. Together with them he left the house, looking forward to see their Starship.

Star-Lord walked quickly so Rocket wouldn't have to wait long but made sure the boy was able to keep up with them, "Don't worry about him, he's a bit grumpy at times but he'll warm up to you, in his own way," he said to Luke as they walked, whispering it so Rocket didn't hear.

"Yeah, I kinda expected you to say something like this sooner or later. For a bunch of space outlaws you seem to be pretty nice people",Luke said, not feeling that nervous around the two Guardians anymore. They reached the park very quickly.

"Thanks, we try to be to anyone that isn't trying to kill us, even if they don't exactly come off as nice," Star-Lord said, nodding toward the bag. He then walked up to a clearing and knocked on what seemed like the air but it made an audible metal clanging noise the second he did.

Rocket got out of the bag and turned the cloaking device off that they had used to hide their spaceship. "What are you waiting for? Get in!", he told the other two and Luke quickly obeyed the racoons demand.
