Nimble & Panther - X Men [with Adamantium Babe]
CHARACTER BIO
Name: April
Surname: Crosswell
Age: she looks like a 30 years old, but actually she is something like 120 years old
Hair color: Brown
Eyes color: Blue
Mutation: Her metabolism is ten times slower than normal. This means that she grows old much more slowly than she should. On top of that, her DNA has been manipulated by a bunch of scientist when she was a teenager. They combined her genes with the ones taken from big felines, like panthers and tigers. As a result she can now see into the dark, she is very agile and she have retractable claws. She can also growl and purr.
Short Background: She knows Eric and Charles for many years, since before they became known as Magneto and Professor Xavier. She has traveled widely in her life, but recently she decided to move to Xavier Mansion. Now she teaches English literature to the kids who live there. She have an affair with Logan.

April lifted the sleeve of her black leather jacket just enough to take a look at the clock on her wrist. It was only 5 pm, but the sky was already beginning to darken.
God, how she hated winter, always so dark, cold and damp.
The feline spirit who lived in her despised that time of year, struggling to feel the warm of the summer sun once again.
She snorted soundly, turning her head towards the man who was walking by her side, waving her long brown hair over her shoulders -Can we just find some place where to sit and take a coffee? My hair are getting all fuzzy, there's to much humidity in the air.- she asked him, beating her big blue eyes in that terrific feminine way, which she knew was always the better weapon to get what she wanted.
She grinned to Logan in her usual sarcastic way, trying to taking him by an arm, flirty. -I'm sure i can find out some more interesting way to spend the afternoon rather then walking around in the streets. Just bring me somewhere warm and dry.- she pleded him.
All around them the lights of the city were awakening, ready to illuminate the night as always. Street lamps, signs and traffic lights began to sparkle in sundown light. A stream of people was flowing along the street, frenzied and careless about everything, pushing away each other, running to reach their homes, their jobs, their beloved ones.
To her, they looked just like ants in an anthill.
But suddenly, in the middle of the crowd, she recognized a face.
A face who belonged to someone who was not supposed to be there, someone who had no permission to leave Xavier Mansion by his own.
The woman frowned -Wait, it's not Wilson, the kid who just crossed the street?- she grumbled, with a really annoyed tone -How many more times we will have to drag him back to school, hanging by the ears? Oh, but this time i will teach to that little brat to obey the rules, once and for all.- she concluded, marching after the boy a second later, confident that Logan would follow her.
As soon as she had shortened the distance between them enough to be heard, she opened her mouth, calling him loudly -You stop right there, young man!-
She knew that the boy would have recognized her, especially because of the slight growl that she had blended with her voice, like every time she got upset, which lately had happened quite often during her classes.

Logan, the Wolverine as most of the people called him, was more than happy to walk alongside his lover's in the big city.
Since the death of Scott...and Jean, things weren't easy for him; he mostly spent the days drinking, uselessly trying to get drink, but always failing because of his healing factor.
Then, about two months ago, Aprile showed up.
And everything in his life turned out for the better.
He grinned at her while she whined about the weather, pleading him to go somewhere warm.
"And here I thought you had a lot of energy. Tired already, kitten? New York isn't that big."
He chuckled and kissed her temple, before sensing her tension, then anger.
She growled and pointed at a kid that was crossing the road:
Wilson. He had brown eyes and hair, dressed with a pair of worn out jeans, boots and a dark, green jacket.
That kid was always with his head in the clouds...sure, he was very peaceful and educated for a teenager, and Logan appreciate that.
Logan tried to calm her girlfriend down but it was too late. He followed her towards the daydreaming boy.
Wilson simply kept on walking calmly, ignoring April. Mostly because he was listening to his iPod.

-Call me "Kitten" once more and i'll bite you, i swear. And not in a pleasant way, big guy.- she threatened him, pretending to be serious, even if her smirk was suggesting otherwise. The skit might have continued for a while, but the appearance of the boy seemed to have turned the tables pretty quickly.
The woman snorted again, irritated, reaching the student from behind, stretching an arm forward, with the firm intention of grabbing him by the collar of his green jacket.
Only after gaining the attention of the youngest, by hook or by crook, April assumed her best "pissed off" face, frowning and giving him a really severe glance.
One second later, her hand was reaching the cable of his Ipod, wanting to take those headphones out of his ears.
-What the hell are you doing, kiddo? Who gave you permission to come here, exactly?- she scolded him -How did you get here, in first place? Have you traveled by hitchhiker from the Mansion to the city once again?- she inquired then, reproaching him with a very stern voice.
The growl was now clearly audible, mixed with her voice in every single word, but some kind of sincere concern was clearly shown in every one of her gestures.
After all, she kinda liked that boy and his naive attitude.
Still, her duty as a teacher and as one of the adults who were supposed to look after him, was to educate him, among many other things. So April stayed steady, staring at Wilson's face, waiting for his response, Logan and their little flirt completely forgotten, for the moment.

Logan rolled his eyes at her comment, as he perfectly knew April loved that nickname. Only not in public.
Wilson was listening to his favourite song, pacing smoothly among the people, savoring every second of that winter day.
He knew he shouldn't have skipped Ms. Munroe's lesson today, but he couldn't stand history as a subject. Or any subject for that matter. He simply believed that there was so much more to learn outside, in the streets, rather than inside a classroom.
He was looking for a quiet place where to sit and relax, when suddently someone grabbed him by the crook of his neck. He didn't even have the time to blink, that he was forcefully turned around and saw Ms. Crosswell, angry as ever, with Logan behind her.
"Oh, hello there professors. How are you doing? He smiled
"The permission? I always forget I have to ask...and yeah, hitch-hiking is the best way to travel. They are all so nice here.
Logan put a hand on April's shoulder trying to calm her down.
"Honey, you're making a scene. You'll have all the time to scold him at the mansion...but not here. He looked around, seeing a few people looking at them. They probably heard April's growl, and a woman growling isn't normal.

-I'll give you "hello", young man.- she interrupted him -Yeah, permission. That thing you should ask before doing things but you never do. And what did i already told you about traveling with strangers? It's dangerous. We had forbidden you to do that again, isn't it so?-
She sounded really mad at the boy, but the very moment she felt Logan's hand on her shoulder, she sighed, taking a deep breath -I know Logan, you're right.- April admitted, nodding her head -Let's just walk back to the car.-
A second later, the woman returned to dedicate her attention to Wilson, pointing a finger at him sternly -I had enough of your disobedience. This time I will discuss it personally with Professor Xavier, as soon as we arrive to the Mansion.- she warned him -Now straight to the car, mister. Time to go home.-
Needless to say, any kind of protest by the boy would have been completely ignored.

Well, end of the outing, Wilson thought as he walked with them towards the car.
"You know ms. Crosswell? You should learn to relax a bit more...here.
The boy pointed at a weird shaped cloud in the sky.
"What do you see? To me, that cloud seems like the head of a mule." He laughed.
Logan facepalmed himself and dragged the kid away from the crowd and especially, away from April.
"You're only making this worse, kiddo. Let's go."

-I would be much more relaxed if all students behaved well, staying safe at school.- she answered him, harshly, walking between the boy and the man.
At the question about the cloud's shape, April half closed her eyes, forcing herself to not giving Wilson a sound slap on the back of his neck.
Anyway, more o less one and a half hour later, they reached the Mansion.
While Logan went to park the car, April literally dragged Wilson inside by the collar of his jacket, like a puppet -Now you go straight to your room and you stay there until someone will come to give you permission to come downstairs for dinner. Did i make myself clear, young man?- she ordered, pointing at the stairs with her index finger -And no talking with the others or breaks during the way, understood? You're grounded.-

Wilson blinked and looked at the staircase. A few other students chuckled while going downstairs.
"Alright, alright..." He huffed and stomped to his bedroom.
He was the only kid that had a room all by himself, since the bedroom was small, but cozy and warm. He kept it clean and tidy almost everyday.
Wilson sat on his bed, sighing.
"Something tells me that this time I'm in big trouble..."

She watched him go upstairs, sighing and shaking her head from side to side -That kid will make me go crazy, one of these days...- she whispered to herself, before heading towards Charles Xavier's office.
They needed to solve the problem once and for all.
A couple of hours later, after giving Wilson the time to reflect about what was going to happen to him, the teacher knocked on his door -I'm coming in.- she warned him, a few seconds before opening that same door, walking into the room.
She looked way more calm now, but extremely serious at the same time.
April was now wearing just a black sweater and a pair of jeans, her hair tight up in a pony tail and she was holding a wooden hairbrush in her right hand.
As long as she passed the doorway, she turned to closing it with the key, which later disappeared into her pocket.
After that, the woman looked the boy, taking a breath.
-Ok, now...Charles and i, we have been talking about you and the way you behaved since you arrived here. And we agreed that maybe the real problem with you is that you never had been really cared of.- she started to talk, getting closer to him -Your parents, well...they are not really worried about you. It's sad, but that's the way it is, and you know it, i'm sure of it.- April added -You have been on your own way too long, Wilson. That's why you think that you can do everything you want without asking permission to anybody. But now this have to stop.- she told him, very sharply, bumping the hairbrush a couple of times against her thigh, like if she was a bit nervous -What you desperately need it's nothing more than some parental discipline, kiddo. And since your family don't care, i will do what they should do. -

Wilson waited for what seemed like an eternity in his room.
The minutes quickly passed by, and April wasn't arrived yet.
So, instead of thinking about his mistake, he simply picked a fantasy book and read it.
When the woman finally showed up, he closed the book and listened to what she said.
The boy tilted his head and bit his bottom lip: sure, his parents were very busy and barely helped him with homework, played with him, saw a movie together...but that didn't mean that they didn't care about him. Right?
"It's not true. They love me, they're my parents after all. And why do you have that hairbrush? My hair is not that messy. He pouted standing up.
