Ah haha a real question well lets see. Depending on which personality you ask it came from different origins.

The first one will tell you that after retiring a three letter name for all of his save files when he went up to real games/online games, he needed a longer name, and that this fell around the time he had played pokemon, so in desperation he stole it from the original Elite Four as a child and kept using it over and over again. And he'd tell the noble part, came from the fact that by playing the "good" paths in decision based games, he explained the name with a noble in order to lengthen the name and make it harder for others to reproduce, so he could have the same name without a bunch of nonsense numbers next to it.

Another personality would tell you that it came from a Monty Python inspired script he wrote, in which a king is trying to save a kidnapped queen by a dragon and he is standing in the cavern of the dragon with his knights. The king has an all powerful weapon he can use to slay the creature so he starts to call for his weapon, only to be plagued by knights with similar names, getting confused and being summoned to him rather than getting the weapon, one of the weapons being the noble lance, others were trusty axe'l slay the dragon, the all powerful mace, Spike's spear, and a few others, its just harder to list because its all verbal puns in the way the king speaks slurring words together to cause the confusion.

There wasn't that much I didn't like about it, but at times it felt like creativity and ideas were getting pushed down for fanservice, in the roleplay suggestions. Don't get me wrong, I would kill for my own fanservice on a few things, even for a temporary roleplay on a short term basis, but I don't like pushing that into a forum. Also there were times it felt like despite spending a lot of time on the site, that I felt like an outsider, that there was some like big group of others connecting to one another, and I never felt like I knew how to get into it. Other than that, with the site itself, not a whole lot I didn't like. The site itself, I don't think there was anything I could have fixed on the site itself.
