Jamie was still crying as the man stood him up, his small body shaking slightly. It took some time to process what the man was saying, a lot of time actually. Surely he didn't mean that.... He had just caught him stealing, and now he asked if he wanted to live with him.

"Y-your c-child?..." He asked as he continued to sniffle. This whole thing seemed to be a bit too much to process for the young boy.

At first Jamie stiffened completely as he was pulled into a hug, having no idea what was going on. The man was... Hugging him? Why? It took some time, but eventually he just leaned into the hug, his head on the mans shoulder as he tried to get himself to calm down. "'m sorry sir" he whispered.

"It's alright. Well then it's settled." He let the boy go from the hug and stood up. "Unfortunately, I have business to attend to, so you be a good lad and let the maids clean you up," he said. He called to the door then. "Ms. Tusmer," he called.
A Larger woman, entered the room, dressed in the propper attire of a maid. "Please have the lad cleaned up for supper. He needs a bath... badly."
The woman entered and held out her hand for Jaime to take.

Jamie blushed and pulled his shorts back up. He was slightly confused by the 'then it's settled' thing since he couldn't remember agreeing to live with the man, but he didn't argue with the man. He looked up as the large woman walked in, his eyes going slightly big as if the woman was something very strange the boy hadn't ever seen before. He quickly wiped the tears from his eyes before taking the woman's hand.

She led the boy to one of the wings of the mansion. "I suppose first we ought to be giving you a bath," she said with a heavy cockney accent. "Come then, into the wash room," she said, leading the boy into the room.

Jamie followed her silently, looking around the house with big eyes. He had never been in a place like this before... He went into the room like he was told to, looking up at the woman as if he waited on being told what to do.

Jamie looked down and blushed, suddenly slightly intimidated by the woman. He hurried up to get out of his clothes though, not wanting to make her angry by being slow.
