AI Chat Anything regarding AI from chatbots to image generation |
Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on AnimeOTK:
Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising.
Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts)
Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising.
Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.
All donators of $10 or more will never see an advert on our site again!

OPEN AI under investigation.
The US Federal level agency- PTC is now doing an criminal investigation of Open AI. Open AI, created ChatGPT which many of us use for AI based games/stories. If it is proven that Open AI stole and used data, it could mean a bad time incoming!

*Clears throat*
So… if I previously made a case that caring how old an AI character claims to be is pointless.
They’re not going to investigate me for spanking a 13 year old ancient vampire, are they?
Because technically she came on to me, I was drunk and she use her vampire mind controls.

it doesn't matter, lol SpecificInter3sts Edit P
What matters however, is character.ai powered by chatGPT? Because if yes, then I feel like it will be a domino effect that will impact all branches of AI tech devlopment.
I don't think they will force character.ai to shut down, especially since it's hard to tell the main AI to "unlearn" specific things that were taught with stolen data, and especially because shutting down chatGPT would just be too much of an impact.
It will probably end with a slap with a fine, maybe a legistlation and move on.

This has nada to do with age Yada Yada blah. This has to do with IT security, IP law violation etc... If the hammer does come down, there could be serious consequences. It could be nothing and just end up making it safer. Or the Open AI folks could be shut down if they can't fix any breaches they caused.

Yeah, I don't think they'll care if your AI story is about a 13-year-old appearing vampire, unless it stole the idea from someone else who previously wrote a story about a 13-year-old appearing vampire.

OP explicitly stated that it's due to these sites stealing data, so I don't know why you immediately defaulted to "but my loli fetish doesn't make me a creep!"
Your 9000 year old vampire waifu who looks 12 stole your PIN, genius.

Should we be worried about the AI stealing our information?

If somebody starts their concern with *clears throat*
It’s probably a joke.
I know sarcasm is lost in some countries but come on.

Only if you give it to it. Or you tell it things that you have protected by copyright, trademark, creative commons restrictions, or an OGL restriction. AI is by design made to take everything you give it, and learn from it, expand upon it, and so on. But, unlike human intelligence, that reads a book and sees the copyright ©️ symbol, and writing, and knows to NOT use that material... AI doesn't know to not explicitly use that material. Thus is using copyright protected, trademarked, intellectual properties it should not. Lawsuits over these things have bankrupted companies. It's no joke.
