Wandering through the mansion Elea was find no small amount of enjoyment as it felt like she was finding something new and interesting around every corner. The library especially she promised herself she would investigate further later. No doubt there would be something interesting in there.

When she came across the creepy room she took in a sharp breath in surprise. What was all this? It looked like something out of a school yard horror story. Then she head the sound of Arianna in pain and her instincts took over. She rushed as fast as she could towards the source of the sound, intent on rescuing the poor maid from whatever was attacking her.

Elea opened the door and found herself in a second chamber of horrors.
There were benches of various shapes, each with ropes or straps.
And right on one of thes - a simple wooden board - was poor Arianna, naked, with a beautiful bright red butt.
She wasn't tied up in any way, but she had firmly gripped the edge of the bench with her fingers.

The moment Elea entered, she caught just the moment when Lucinda dropped a thick belt over her slave's defenseless ass, ripping out another moan of pain.

Lucinda stopped, slowly turning to Elea.
"Elea," she commented coldly. "Do you no longer use knocking?"

Elea gasped at the sight that greeted her. Why was all this here? What could her sire possibly need with it all? Her eyes widened to the size of saucers the moment they landed on the poor maid. She as in motion before she even fully registered the scene, half way across the room before she realized just who the redhead's tormentor was.

Lucinda's words pulled her up short. "What are you doing," she demanded. "Is this about earlier? Arianna didn't do anything wrong. You can just punish her for no reason. And not like that. Look at her! Arianna are you okay?" She started moving towards the older girl again, not knowing what she was going to do but feeling like she had to do something.

Lucinda stopped, tapping the belt on the palm of her hand.
"I'm punishing her for that" she said. "Arianna, do you want tell to our human rights champion why are you receiving punishment?" she asked.
Arianna, heavy breathing, swallowed. "I am being punished because the mistress has given me the task of obtaining funds for her fashion magazine," she said. "And I failed," her voice cracked.
Lucinda looked at Elea with a cold smile.
"However, it seems that you are anxious to take the blame for the accident earlier, isn't it, Elea?", She asked, persuasive, as she stretched out her arm and rested the belt on poor Arianna's ass, who moaned, clenching her cheek .
It was evident that she was waiting for yet another whip.
"Why don't you go inyour room and wait for me, since you are eager to discuss how I manage discipline under MY roof?" said Lucinda.
It was evident an order.

Elea frowned as she tried to work make sense of what was happening. Obtain funds? That sounded like such an odd thing to have a maid doing. And for a magazine? Lucinda did know she could just buy things online for delivery right? She opened her mouth to point that out only to hear the woman's next words and have her mouth snap shut.

Hearing the order she felt her face flush as a whirlwind of emotions hit here. On the one hand how dare this woman. Go up to her room and wait for her? Like she was some troublesome teenager who needed a lecture? Not to mention she had no interest in leave poor Arianna to continue being punished. On the other hand she didn't really know the situation here, and Arianna had asked her to stay out of this earlier. Well she was already failing in that respect.

After a moment of trying to stare down her sire, and failing utterly, Elea wilted a bit. "Fine, she said crossing her arms over her chest petulantly. She gave the punished redhead one more apologetic look before turning and stomping from the room. She wanted to talk about how ridicules the way she treated Lucinda was? Okay then they would! The young vampire headed for her room, intent on working up a head of steam and putting together a lecture of her own for her elder about how to treat people.

About half an hour passed before Lucinda, with her usual elegance, crossed the door of Elea's room.
She was breathtakingly beautiful, despite wearing a simple little black dress.
"My dear Elea," she said with a dangerous smile. "How many things you don't know yet, yet you think you can have a say ..."

Elea paced around her room as she waited for her sire. She wanted to discuss how discipline was handled? Well Elea would give her a discussion! Clearly someone needed to bring her out of the dark ages and if no one else was going to do it then Elea would just have to step up and handle it.

When the woman finally arrived Elea immediately turned to lay into her as she intended only to falter. Why did this woman have to be so beautiful? Not to mention assertive! Her words died on her lips and she couldn't help but shuffle awkwardly under her sire's gaze. Okay so yes she was still learning but that didn't excuse the other woman's behavior. Did it?

"W-w-well," she stuttered trying to get her mind back on track. "I, um, that us. You can't just, you know, and I mean it's just not right. Like that, and I mean not any more, and you shouldn't." She stumbled over her words for a bit, failing to really communicate much, before finally giving up with a huff. Since she wasn't getting anywhere with her words she settled for crossing her arms over her chest and ineffectively glaring up at the woman.

Lucinda watched her stammer, arching an eyebrow.
"Be quiet," she silenced her. "I'll explain something to you once and for all. You have to respect those who are older than you. And not because otherwise you get scolded," she said. "I am a reasonable person and I punish shortcomings and offenses through discipline. But there are vampires out there, who may ask to cut your tongue if they think you haven't been polite enough. Is that clear to you?" She asked.

Elea's mouth snapped shut with a click as her sire demanded her silence. She found herself wilting under the older woman's words. At the mention of tongues getting cut she let out a small eep and a hand came up to cover her mouth. She hadn't realized that there were vampires out there like that! When she had become one and hadn't immediately gone mad she had figured most of what she had scene in media most be wrong, that the others like her were probably not so different from regular, modern humans. It sounded more like they were in the dark ages.

She gave a hasty nod at the older woman's question. "Yes," she let out softly. After a moment's delay she tacked on a quick, "ma'am."

"Very well. When you have learned the rules of bon ton and etiquette, I will take you to an a reunion. Where you can touch what it means to live in a vampire society, but for now ..." she pat on the legs. "I'll just give you a taste of the consequences. Come here."
