Default Otherworldly Heroes, Otherworldly Villains (for Thamir)

The angel swooped down, folding his large white wings neatly behind his back as his feet touched the rooftop. His eyes, thin slits with the palest blue irises, surveyed the streets below him. He was quite a tall figure, with an ethereal quality to him, as was fitting for his species. He carried himself with otherworldly grace, and even when walking on the ground like a human, his gait had a hard to place quality that seemed to lend the angel with an extraordinary dignity. Some found it intimidating.
His hair was long, but it was tied back in a simple ponytail, so it would not be a nuisance. His skin a pale, almost bluish hue. When he spoke, his voice was surprisingly deep, but yet also soft at the same time.
Where are they? The angel thought to himself.
He was to find and discipline two mischievous imps who had been behind various troublemaking in the city, but they were sneaky little things who had so far managed to elude him. The angel's pale eyes stopped when he spotted someone who also appeared to be looking for something and took off again, his feathery wings unfolding with a loud flap, and moments later he stood in front of the person who seemed to resemble a dragon type creature. A human might have been shaken, but Ed (he called himself Ed, as his true name was not so easy to pronounce) had seen far more unusual creatures in his many years.
"Have you seen two imps nearby?" He asked, in a straightforward way, never being one to mince his words or hide his resolve. Deception was not something angels were good at, nor did they care to employ it.

Before the angel had come to her, this literal dragon lady had been scoping things out around the city. While it may have been somewhat odd to see someone like her even existing, it was pretty typical to experience something new in this city as villains and heroes were both quite abundant. In some areas, they were everywhere, in others, not so much, but there was always at least one hero in some part of the world.

Unlike the typical hero, she seemed more like a hybrid with her abilities. Her body had scales all over that were a shiny pitch black. Her arms and lower parts of her legs, both of which ended with sharp looking claws. Her back was also covered in scales and she had a long tail with a spade like head at the end. The wings are her back were large and the membranes of them were a gray. Finally, she had a smooth, young face and black hair. Her eyes were mostly solid aside from the slits directly in the enter of them, and lets not forget those horns too. The scales also did assist her in covering her up, but areas like her torso, neck and face remained exposed. For the sake of decency, she wore this armor that blended in with her scales color scheme. It did leave her belly exposed though, aside from the metallic scales that linked down to the belt around her waist that had a drape of metal to cover her up her front.

This dragon lady had looked to Ed and then up at him when he came by before she focused her attention elsewhere. "Why do you want to know?" She asked, not sounding trust worthy of him in the slightest. She had every right to not trust him too because anyone could be a bad guy, even people who gave of an aura of being good.

"I am pursuing them." Ed said, in his typically straight forward manner.
As he stood in front of the dragon lady, he was able to get a better look at her. Over his many years, he had seen many types of creatures, peoples, and other curious things. She was by no means the strangest by far, but she did have a certain charisma that made Ed feel like she could be trusted. "May I ask what you are doing here? You look as if you are also looking for something or someone."

One of the imps that was being sought after by Ed ran quickly, scurrying through the alleyways, trying to get as far away from his pursuer as possible. He couldn't find his companion, another imp, they had been separated a mile or so back.
He was a small thing, as imps were, scrawny and with crooked red wings. His body was a lighter shade, with a brown tinge to it, his skin rough and thick, but not thick enough to be impervious to some corporal punishment if dealt out by the right hand or other implement.

As he was scurrying, he was so busy trying to think of ways out that he suddenly felt himself run face first into his companion whom he'd thought he'd been separated from and the two imps fell back onto their butts onto the pavement.
"Hey watch it!" The imp shouted, before realising who it was. "You! Ah good! I thought I'd lost you! We need to keep running, they could find us at any minute unless we get out of this city!"

He was a frantic little thing, always full of energy, usually used to mischievous ends.

She gave him a suspicious look for a moment before deciding to give him some trust. She could not go around not trusting everyone that looked even slightly suspicious to her. If she was like that, chances were that she wouldn't even trust herself at times. "Yes, I was looking for them for... reasons that I'd rather avoid talking about. Not to mention they often tend to cause trouble, and I'm sure the recent car accidents, robberies and a few fires was because of them."

---

Meanwhile, the first imps companion had been casually wandering around. Unlike their friend who was wandering around. He wasn't as energized, as a matter of fact, he was obviously a little scared right now as he wandered around on his own. When the law enforcement came in, they both scattered so fast that neither of them really were paying attention to where the other went.

Right up until they wound up bumping into each other. The more nervous imp had sort of covered his face, thinking that a dog was trying to make a meal out of him again, however, when he saw it was his friend, he smiled, but then that smile faded when they heard that they were still get chased.

Unlike his friend, instead of brown skin, he had thick skin that was more of a pitch black that faded into gray at the fore arms and lower portion of the legs. He had a tail with a spade shape at the end. It's face was nearly all smooth and flat and completely featureless aside from two large almond shaped eyes that had an eerie yellow glow and a big mouth full of sharp black teeth. Oh and it had this single thick horn, that curved down slightly, in the back of its head. The most outstanding thing on it though, aside from the small wings it had, was an orange symbol on its right hand. This imp went by the simple name of Kevol, this was the one that the dragon lady had been chasing after.

"They!? Who else did you manage to bother!? I could have sworn we only messed with that dragon chick!" Kevol asked, sounding surprised at the mention of another person coming after them.

"I agree with that assessment," Ed nodded, "They are most troublesome."
He stopped speaking for a moment, appearing to be in thought as he put a hand to his chin and drummed his fingers on the smooth, pale blue skin there.
"Why don't we pool our skills? There are two imps after all, and two of us. I am sure it will be easier that way." He suggested after a short while of thinking things over. He felt like this dragon lady was someone who could be trusted. Or at the very least, she looked capable.

--

The first imp, who was known by the name of Kavel, just shook his head quickly and grabbed his friend's wrist. "No time to explain! Just some guy! Who cares? It's bad, we should just run for it!"

With that he began to run again, dragging Kevol behind him. His spiky black teeth grit together in determination, maybe if they ran toward the station, they could hop onto an outgoing train. Their small wings wouldn't be much good in this situation, for even if they flew the angel would no doubt be keeping an eye on the skies and would catch up to them with his larger wings in no time. To say nothing of the dragon lady.

"Shitshitshit," Kevol whined as he ran, his own long, spiked tail flapping as he did, he was panicking somewhat, he should never have started that third fire on the same day. That had been the one that had attracted the angel's attention, and he had heard that Ed wasn't the sort of guy to just let his target get away once he'd set his mind onto catching them.

She looked at him for a moment, having this dirty look on her face. Eventually, she sighed and lightened up on him before getting to her feet. "That actually sounds like it will work very well." She said. "All we have to do is keep an eye on the alley ways, and if we see them, we should try to either get one because the other will likely follow, or we can stay in a pair and be able to get them both." She stated before looking away for a moment.

"You can call me Lenora, by the way. I'm starting to consider the name 'Dragon lady' rather... Insulting now." She told him before deciding to go ahead and take off into the sky to start their search.

---

Kevol's eyes widened when he was practically yanked off of his feet and dragged along with his friend. He stumbled around slight, but eventually, he began running with him. He really had to put some effort though seeing how his hand was sort of being forcibly held out in front of them.

"Shouldn't we be trying to hide!? They're bound to see us if we're running around like this!" Kevol pointed out, being the one who liked to pause and think. Considering how tense this situation was though, he was having far less time to actually get some thinking down.

"Lenora." Ed nodded, taking off a moment after her, his white wings spreading out wide in the sky, a couple of pure white feathers fluttering to the ground. Anyone who found them would be blessed with good luck. "You can call me Ed."

He flew up high enough in the sky to survey as many of the alleyways as possible, letting Lenora keep her eyes on the ones that were outside of his field of vision. The two imps were mischievous and cunning, but he was confident now that there were two of them they would find them before long.

--

The first imp stopped suddenly, suddenly enough to nearly make his friend trip up at the sudden change in speed. He let go of his friend's wrist and turned to face him.
"You're probably right! We should hide until the heat's off!" He agreed, nodding his head.
He had never been good at sticking to one plan, always changing his mind. "Where should we hide?"

Lenora was sure to keep an eye out for those imps, and anything else suspicious really. Another thing could happen that could easily be far more dire than the situation they were currently involved in. "So, Ed... How exactly are we going to handle them once we find them? I don't think killing them will be necessary, and we can't exactly shove them in a prison and expect them to stay there forever."

---

Kevol pretty much bumped into his friend, but he wasn't exactly as weighty, so he pretty much bounced off of his friend there. Rubbing his head a bit before he got up to his feet and disregarding the blunder made by Kavel, he looked around frantically. Then, seeing a door that served as a back exit, he said, "In here!" Then he proceeded to force the thing up. Iron doors by no means were light for either of them to move.

"In the past I have dealt out spankings to certain villains, ones who were no real threat once apprehended." Ed said matter-of-factedly, his eyes still locked on the city streets and alleyways as he spoke. "I have a feeling that those two imps might have heard the rumours that I've dished out a few to their kind in the past."

--

Kavel helped his friend lift the door up, his skinny limbs trembling as he did.
"Ngh, this better be worth it," he complained as he followed Kevol in through the back exit. He looked behind him as he followed him, a little cautious just in case the dragon lady or the angel would take advantage of the enclosed space if they got any idea where they were.

She looked at him confused for a moment before smirking a little bit. At first, she was tempted to ask him why he would do that kind of thing, but after thinking about it to herself, she could understand. "Oh, I see... Considering that there is two, I may want to join in on it. While they are both threats with what they're capable of, I still want to try this out."

---

"It will be. We'll get to keep our skins." Kevol said as she closed the door behind them. The room they entered in was clearly linked to an emergency exit it, or just a simple back door. The room was mainly concrete and their was shelves on the walls lined with all sorts of electronics. Mostly tools, but there was a few things like phones and computer parts in there.
