The Outgoing and the Moody (For Sardonyx)

"Mmhm!" Sachiko said as she continues to eat her food while drinking her mango soda. "It would be nice if we cook together some more in the future, it was really fun cooking with you Moni." Soon enough, she finishes her plate but her smile hasn't fade away the entire time as she was enjoying herself and her conversation with Monica and Tai. Another good memory was made for Sachiko.

"Dude! Definitely! So long as you're here we can cook everyday!" Monica said with a cheerful smile on her face. "It's one of my favorite pass times!"

"Believe me, it is..." Tai said with a smile, knowing first hand how much the pinkette loved to use her kitchen. "But you guys as a team..? If you keep making dishes like this, you might have to open your own restaurant some day."

"Hehe~! Maybe I'll start charging you for food, Tai." Monica joked with a small giggle.

"Yup! We'll charge you about $15 for every time you eat this meal!" Sachiko followsuit with a smug look on her face." Everyone's enjoying their time with laughter all around the kitchen. The moment reminds Sachiko of her friends from back home as well as family moments with her family, but when Sachiko starts to remember, a minor headache begins to occur. However, Sachiko chooses not to cause a scene to break the light-hearted atmosphere as she quickly gets her glass of mango soda and drinks it at a brisk pace.

Focusing on that, the phantom headache vanishes little by little as she drinks. "Phew... This mango soda is also pretty good, like it was home made... I wonder if Shinrinseiki makes its own drinks." Sachiko ponders on that thought.

"Fifteen? Oh c'mon, don't do that to me...! I should at least get a discount...!" Tai protested, causing Monica to laugh. Because the latter was no longer as sober as before, she didn't read that Sachiko was beginning to reminisce again, and because of that, she was still having a good time.

But she did hear the soda comment though and shrugged. "As far as soft drinks go, I don't think so...all of it is imported outside the region..."

"The city does have it's fair share of hose made liquor though, Axe is pretty good...it has a savory but sweet taste, but nothing beats Tipsy's Ale." Tai remarked, causing Monica to snicker. "Course you would say that Tai, what with Tipsy being run by your girlfriend's family..."

"H-Hey...! She's not my girlfriend...we're just friends is all." the boy retorted.

"Oooh. So there's someone you're interested in at this restaurant called Tipsy huh?" Sachiko states while going back to giving a smug look. She then starts to giggle. "How cute! She must be really cute or beautiful for you to have your eyes on her." Sachiko leans forward and gives Tai a gentle nudge with her left elbow. She couldn't help but start teasing Tai about his love life.

Once Sachiko gave him a small nudge, Tai began to visibly blush and rubbed the back of his head slowly. "Eheh...well...I wouldn't say I like her THAT way...she's just...well, very important to me, so..."

"Aww, he's blushin'~!" Monica teased lightly. "It's okay Taichi, we're just pullin' your leg a little bit. I think it's awesome...!" the pinkette said with a grin.

"Right. I'm glad you found someone you're interested in. Let's hope she feels the same way about you in the end though, but I feel that you can win her heart." Sachiko states as she gives Tai a thumbs up. "And speaking of Tipsy, I do want to visit there at some point to get some information about my brother, so it would be nice if you can take me there eventually, so that I can also meet this girl of yours."

"...! S-She's not...ugh...!" Tai groaned and felt his cheeks heat up more. "F...fine...I can take you...it's actually a decent spot to gather info. A lot of the clientele who go there to drink usually come back from quests so they've definitely seen some things..."

Monica chuckled, and finished the last of her soda after her plate had already been cleared. "Ahh...refreshing...and I'm stuffed silly~!" she said, patting her stomach lightly. The pinkette was definitely satisfied.

Sachiko nods at Tai in response. “Thanks Tai. If we can go tomorrow, that would be nice. A lot has happened today so I definitely want to spend the rest of my time relaxing.” She states. She then looks back at Monica for something. “Also, since I’m most likely going to be in this city for a while, do you mind if I live with you, Monica? I feel that it’s a good idea to stay with someone I know.” As she asks, Sachiko begins thinking about what she wants to do, ranging from gathering information, helping the residents, and even helping Monica with her psychic abilities.

Monica blinked a little, before she gave a wide smile. "Of course you can stay here! It'll be like a slumber party, and it'll be awesome!" she said. "I'll have a free room that you can stay in too! Ya know, until my sister comes home from quests...then we'll find out other sleeping arrangements...hmm...oh! You could just take my room then and I'll sleep on the sofa...oh! Wait, I got a blow-up mattress too! Then it'll actually be like a sleepover!" she was clearly excited with the prospect of having a friend over.

It made Tai smile a little because he was happy for the pinkette, but then he turned to look at Sachiko. "Yeah sure...I'll take you tomorrow...hopefully whatever quest we end up doing doesn't take the entire day..."

Monica stopped her cheers and smiled lightly. "Haya's always been a hard-worker, so I'm sure she'll wanna keep you busy. May not turn out how you want it."

The boy then took a deep breath. "Well she's almost ready to take the B-Tier exams...it's almost that time of month for when they're offered...so when it draws even closer she's gonna throw herself even further into the grindstone because she wants to pass..."
