Beorn was actually happy that someone with some healing ability would now be with him. the life of a traveling adventurer was a dangerous one and he often needed healing.

Mae found herself suddenly blinking back tears and shaking her head. "Y-you have to as well!" She insisted, kicking hard and closing her eyes.

"It isn't... f-fair if you don't try as well!" She sobbed softly, biting her lip as tears ran down her face.

Beorn was a big man and his hand was hard, and by now Mae's bottom was positively GLOWING.

"if you promise to stop being so bratty I will stop spanking you and let you up." He added.

"F-fine." She hiccuped and wiped her face. "I w-will if you will." She looked back at him and sobbed softly.

"This isn't very re-respectful you know." She pointed out softly, her shoulders trembling as she sobbed.

Beorn gave her a final ten swats then sat her on his lap and wiped some of her tears away.

"I'm sorry for that," he said. "But YOU were very disrespectful to me, and in front of other people. You belong to me now and I coudl NOT let that go." He put an arm around her , awkwardly trying to comfort her a bit.

He gave her a long look. she really was very pretty, but he was so much bigger than her that she looked like a preteen girl sitting on his lap like that.

"Thank you." She said stiffly, hopping off of his lap and wiping at her face. "You will understand if I ask you not to be free with yours hands, won't you?" Mae asked, righting her clothes and breathing slowly.

It wasn't enough that, that brute had to embarrass and abuse her, now he wanted to cuddle and make nice? Tough luck.

"As I said, that wil not be a problem," said Beorn, standing. "Now perhaps you will let me show you to our room, so at least you know where it is."

With that, he led her up to the room he ws staying in. It was spartanly furnished, but it was obvious he had had a second bed moved in.

Could his intentions be somewhat honorable after all?

Mae was a little surprised to see that the human had made some provisions to keep her comfortable, but she was grateful none the less.

"Thank you. This looks nice." She said curtly. "It was a long journey from home and I think I left my bag out in front of the inn."

She turned to leave the room. "I will get my things and retire for the night, if you don't mind."

Beorn found himself slightly torn as to what to do. Part of him wanted to be a gentleman and get the bag for her, but he wondered if it would be setting a bad precedent. Finaly, he decided to just do it.

He poionted to a basin and a pitcher of water. "Why don't you freshen up and I'll get it for you this time," he said.
