All-in-all, Eda is pretty happy with the way her life has been going. She had her two kids, Luz and King, both of whom she cared for deeply. Her relationship with her sister has been on the upturn since the whole King Belos incident and while she hadn’t gotten her powers back yet, she did get the ability to turn into a harpy version of herself, so that was cool.

The morning was a nice and bright, she was taking a sip of apple blood from her favourite mug, and both Luz and King were still asleep in their rooms. As she got up to wake them both up, Hooty stretched into the living room to talk to her. “There’s someone here to talk to you,” Hooty announced.

Walking over, the door opened to reveal a young boy and he looked like he is bleeding; badly.

Titan, Eda thought to herself as she saw the boy.

She picked up the boy and carried him over to the couch, she then recognized the boy. His name was Hunter or something like that, she remembered him from Eclipse Lake, and while she was still a little mad at him; she wasn’t going to let him bleed to death.

The boy winced as she carried him over to the couch his staff still in hand gripping it tightly just in case he needed to use it for any reason. He hissed softly as the pain in his bleeding leg started to hurt quite a bit. He then laid back on the couch placing his staff beside him as he did so. He closed his eyes as he tried to rest hoping that the bleeding would just stop or maybe he would just die. Its not like anyone wanted him anyway he thought. His own uncle had tried to kill him. He was a fool for trusting anyone but himself. He didnt think he would be able t otrust anyone again for that exact reason. He then hiccuped softly and rubbed his eyes looking quite adorable as he slept peacefully.

He dreamed about his uncle trying to kill him and tossed and turn as the nightmare got worse. He saw the giant harpy that the owl lady turned into. He continued to dream about running from it as it started to get closer then he quickly sat up startly in his sleep. He looked around unsure of what he would find. He then sighed as he realized where he was then rubbing the sleep from his eyes.

King then walked into and looked at him "hey what in the boiling isle are you doing here?!" he said growling softly as he frowned at the boy through the skull part of his head. He frowned and pounced on him getting shoved off by the boy causing King to hit the floor with a loud thud. King rubbed his head "Ow that really friggin hurt!!" he said growling a bit at him

Eda left the kid to get the things she needed to patch up his leg. A couple roles of bandages and a healing potion she hoped would be enough to stop the bleeding. Heading back to the living room, the boy’s eyes were still closed, but she wasn’t sure if he was asleep but, in that moment, she was a little to busy to care about that.

King had woken up and was trying to wrestle the kid despite it not working too well for him. So that left him sat on the ground, growling as he glared at the boy.

“Now, now, play nice King, the kids hurt,” she told him, a small smile on her lips.

Patching the kid up was simple enough, but now all there was to do was wait until the kid was ready to talk about what happened to him.

Hunter sat up looking at the bandage on his legs as he was now fully awake. He looked at Eda then down at the floor "I know what I did to you was pretty awful" he said "im sorry for that. M-My uncle wanted me to do that but now he disowned me and kicked me out" he said with a sigh. He then soon had tears welling up in his eyes "he told me no one would ever want me and im starting to think hes right" he said with a soft sniffle. as he wiped his eyes "Uncle Belos raised me from a baby after my mother died" he said sighing again. "My mom was killed by a monster as was my dad" he said with a sigh. "Uncle had me do some horrible things Im not proud of" he said as tears started to stream down his face "He attacked me before I left" he said. "i was an idiot for trusting him!" he said slamming his fist int othe couch.

King started to feel a bit bad for the boy and sighs as he rubbed his head a bit. He then mewed softly and climbed up Eda's leg and into her arms as he yawned stretching out laying his head on her chest as he started to slowly fall asleep. He then start snoring softly which was kinda cute. He then started to speak in his sleep a bit "I am king! you shall all bow down to me!!" he said as he then started snoring again. Hunter looked up at Eda "I dont blame you if you hate me" he said "I did some terrible things..." he said more tears streaming down his face. He was very dirty his robes all ripped and tattered. He looked very disheveled as well as being quity dirty.

Eda looked down at the boy and frowned, while she was a little mad at the boy, nothing could justify what his uncle had done to him. She ran her hand through his hair in an attempt to comfort the crying child on her couch.

“It’s okay kid. I’m not mad at you,” she replied as she continued to comfort the kid.

King seemed to warm up to the boy, having introduced himself and gotten close to the boy.

Looking at Hunter, she knew she would need to get some new clothes for him due to the rips to the boy’s clothes. She also needed to find him somewhere to sleep because she couldn’t expect him to sleep on their couch long-term.

He needed as much help as possible, and she was always willing.

Hunter blushed a bit as she ran her fingers through her hair. He then winced as his legs really hurt still but not as much as it did before.Just then his stomach growled at King heard it and his stomach growled as well. King then poked Eda "Your royal highness demands something to eat!!" he said huffing and crossing his arms over his chest "Plus something for the boy" he said nodding. Hunter then laid back on the couch and looked at his staff and sighed wondering what his like wouldve been like if he were with someone else instead of his uncle. He had never had a mother considering she died when he was a baby. He also never had someone discipline him beside his Uncle beating him. He could be quite a brat sometimes. He always though of what his mother was like and imagined her to be sweet, kind and caring. He thought about her quite often and often dreamt about her as well. He never really had a woman role model in his life except when lilith was around but she was more about working with Belos at the time.

He sat up and looked at Eda ""Um Eda?" he asked looking up at her "Wheres Luz?" he asked. He wanted to apologize to her as well but wasnt sure what her reaction would be. He always secretly admired Luz because of her being human and using magic. He rubbed the back of his head chuckling softly "i just want to say sorry to her too" he said nodding. He then heard something in the back room hoping it was Luz. He then tried to stand but winced as his legs really hurt and couldnt really stand for longer than a few seconds. He yelped as he tried to get up and ended up plopping back down on the couch. He sighed and sat frowning with his arms over his chesti pouting

Luz wasn't sure what was going on downstairs. She head Hooty say something to Eda even if she couldn't hear everything that was going on. Stepping outside her room, she could hear the sound of a voice that she almost didn't recognise, but after a couple minutes she manage to pin down where she heard that voice before.

Hunter? she wondered. What's he doing here?

The steps she took to the stairs were cautious ones, not wanting to alert anyone to her presences if anything bad was going on.

Looking into the living-room, she saw him. His leg appeared to have been bandaged and King was laying on top of the boy's chest. Eda was rubbing her hand through his hair.

Finally building up the courage, she walked down and asked,

"Eda! What's wrong?"

"Nothing Luz, though the kid here has something to say to you,"

Hunter looked at Eda then at Luz "I-im sorry for everything. I trusted my Uncle when I shouldnt have" he said lookign down at the floor. "I'm really really sorry" he said with a sigh. He then squirmed in his deat. He was unsure of what Luz was goign to say. Was she going to still hate him? He figured she would still be mad. He then sighed and rubbed the back of his neck as he waited for her response. King looked at Luz "i think you should forgive him" he said nodding "he is really sorry ya know" he said nodding a bit. He then laid back down wincing a bit as his leg was still sore. He looked at Luz still hoping she would forgive him. He then sighed and winced as his leg started to heal slowly but gradually.

He then looked at Luz as he laid on the couch. King started to play with one of his toys as he started to bounce the ball off the wall giggling as he watched it bounce. He then went into the kitchen and climbed up on the counter and tried to rummage through the cabinet and started to eat some candy from the market place scarfing it down as he soon had it all over his face. He looked quite adorable as he did so. King was quiote the cute little guy but was always gettign himself into danger which he infact did slipping off the high counter and gripped the side of the counter "Ahhhh!!!! help me!!" he said ash e tried to pull himself up to no avail. His weak little arms couldnt hold on for much longer

Luz giggled slightly at what King was doing. Despite being tiny he still did his best to get himself around the house. Walking over to where he was dangling, Luz lifted him up and placed him on the counter hoping that he would be a little more careful in the future.

"Careful King, you're going to get yourself hurt," she told him in a slightly strict voice.

With Hunter, she wasn't entirely sure what to think. On one hand, it looked like he really was sorry for everything that happened in the past, but on the other, he did try to hurt Eda and Amity.

Maybe I should give him the benefit of the doubt, Luz thought to herself.

King looked at her "Thanks Luz!" he said nodding as he started to snack on some snack out of the cabinet. He then stuffed his faqce with the snacks munching noisily then laid on the counter rubbing his belly "TO the royal throne!" he said tryign to get up but his belly was to big so he just laid there trying to reach for some more snacks but unable to.He just laid there whimpering as he was too full to move. He then soon fell asleep on the counter. He snored loudly as his belly started to go dow nas he slept the food digesting in his stomach. His tail startedto wag a bit as he dream of Luz givign him belly rubs and of meeting his father who he had never met and was still trying to find.

Hunter then sighed and looked down. He felt relaly awful for what did to Luz. He had always admired her secretly and really didnt want to hurt her or Amity. He then sighed "i dont blame you for not forgiving me..." he said "I dont deserve forgeness from anyone" he said. He then looked at Eda "Um Eda theres something I have to tell you" he said with a sigh "There have been Owl beast attacks north of here. It was a muc hsmaller owl beast so it wasnt you but I might know who it was" he reached into his pocket and pulled out one of the mouse recording things (cant remeber their names). He then put the mouse down on the couch and pet it softly as it started to play a hologram. It was an image of Eda and her baby that she had about 6 years ago. Emperor Belos voice could be heard "I acquired this baby from The Owl Lady and this baby has extraordinary power. Today which is the winter solstice the boy had been experiencing the following symptoons days ago such as coughing up feathers, growing feathes in his body and his eyes changing color. I think he may be transforming" he said. The recording then changed to a frantic sounding Belos "THe boy has turned into some kind of monster and escaped. I have no idea where hes headed and I hesitate to follow him I-" it was then cut off and there was static. Hunter looked at Eda "I didnt get this wound on my leg from my Uncle... I mean the bruises and stuff yea but I got it from the owl beast hes talking about" he said nodding "I-Is he your son?" he asked
