Eda was in shock at what she had just seen, her son? It couldn't be. They told her he was stillborn, that he only survived a few minutes before he stopped breathing and that there was nothing they could have done to save him. But there he was, in the arms of Emperor Belos, alive.

Tears welled up in her eyes, "Yes..." she replied.

"Eda? You had a kid."

"It's a long story kid."

Hunter then sighed as he looked down at the floor "I...I might know where to find him but its a bit of a walk" he said nodding. He then sighed as he looked at her. He then laid back on the couch puttign the mouse back into his pocket and slowly falling asleep. He then turned on his side falling sound asleep for a bit. He then a few hours later woke up and looked around wondering where Eda went. He didnt see King either or Luz. He got up and started to walk towards Eda's room and knocked softly on the door wanting to speak to her about what he showed her. He waited for her answer.He was genuinely worried about her and sighed a bit. He hoped he hadnt upset her about telling her the news about her son. He knocked again waiting for an answer hoping she would answer.

Meanwhile King who was with Luz was acting a bit bratty "Luz I want candy!!" he said with a huff knowign full well he wasnt allowed tohave candy because in made him a bit hyper. He then hiccupd softly which was quite adorable and looked up at Luz "get my candy NOW peasant!!! your King demands it!!!" he said trying to sound a bit like a king even though he was quite small. He then climed up her leg and onto her should poking her in the ear going "Candy! Candy! Candy!" over and over as he cotniued to poke her. He was trying to get her to give in and give him candy. He continued pestering her and continued poking her ear and repeating himself

“King, stop, now is not the time to be bugging Eda,” Luz said, picking up the little guy and cradling him in her arms.

Eda was still in shock that the son she was told had died years ago was somehow still alive. But what did Belos want with him? She wondered to herself.

“Hunter, I need you to tell me where is he right now? I need to find my son,” she turned to the boy and asked with tears in her eyes. She hoped that she didn’t scare the boy with how desperate she sounded.

King struggled a bit in Luzs arms "B-But LUUUZZZ!!" he said as he then settled in her arms. King soon fell asleep in her arms. He then started to snore softly again looking quite adorable. Kind buried his face into Luzs chest as he slept soundly. Meanwhile Hunter looked at her "I cant give directions. Id have to show you" he said nodding a bit and staqnding up "We can leave now if you want" he said "my leg is a bit better" he said nodding as he stood up normally this time wihtout wincing. He picked up his staff and started to walk towards the door hoping Eda would follow. He then walked out of the house and into the woods and started walking with her for about an hour until they stopped at a cave "he should be in here" he said nodding a bit. "THis is where I first saw him" he said nodding. There was a trail of white and gray feathers leading into the dark cave. He lookd at Eda "Ill just wait out here to be safe" he said nodding a bit softly. There was a loud screech coming from inside the cave and the sound of flapping wings. HUnter sat on a rock outside of the cave watching Eda to see what she would do.

At the sound of screeching, everyone made their way towards the possible source but were still unsure where it noise truly came from. Despite her lack of magical abilities, she was going to try and find a way to get her son back. Eventually they came upon a cave where the noise was the loudest. Eda wasn't sure how to approach the whole situation, she had 3 kids with her and one of them was still hurt.

"I am going in alone," she told Hunter. Bracing herself she stepped inside to see what she could find.

Hunched in the corner was a smalled Owl Beast that looked sort of wounded as one of its wings was bent the wrong way. It quickly snapped its head around and looked at Eda lettign out another screech. Its eyes were blue unlike Eda's and it definetely wasnt as big as Eda when she became the owl beast. It lunged at her nearly missing her by an inch. It then as she came towards went to the other side of the cave. It then chirped softly and dug into the dirt a bit making a small burrow where it climbed into and laid down clearly exhausted from whatever had happened to it. The owl beast then fell into a deep sleep snoring softly as it did so seemingly not frightened by Eda that much anymore. It had calmed down alot mostly because it was injured and didnt want to get injured anymore then it already had been. it then when Eda moved again poked its head up hearing her. It cocked it head a bit and chirped again. It then laid down falling back asleep seemingly having been just half awake. It then snored again softly lettign out a low hum as it did so

Walking into the cave, she saw the creature that her son is. She wondered if he could turn back into his mortal form or if his curse trapped him in this form permanently. It didn't matter to her, this is her son, and he is alive. She saw that he was asleep and so she decided to walk slowly towards him to see how he would respond to her touch.

"Hey there, kid," she spoke softly.

The beast opened its eyes but didnt move and slowly lifted its head to look at her. It chirped softly and started to nuzzle into her. Something about Eda made the beast feel comfortable around her. It let out another chirp and slowly fell asleep. It then started to glow and turned into a young boy about the age if 6 who had bright orange hair like Eda did when she was young. He also was quite skinny as if he hadnt been fed properly. He also had a few cuts and scars on his body that were noticable as his clothes were all ripped and tattered. He was unconcious and didnt move as he breathed very slowly. He looked quite cute as he was small for his age. He looked sad as he slept as if something was wrong or missing. He was so skinny you could see his ribs. He also had a cute little bubble butt that was mostly covered by his pants except for one little spot. He was still glowing though as it seemed the magic around him was very powerful. His father who Eda had fell in love with died two months after he was born. He was a very powerful mage who battled to save Eda and in doing so lost.

Meanwhile outside Hunter was sitting on a rock. He was exhausted from walking so long and perched himself on the rock. He brushed his hair out of his eyes and looked around hoping nothing was watching him. He touched his leg which had healed up pretty nicely already. He winced though as it still hurt a bit to actually touch it. He thought about what he had done to Eda and Luz and felt awful and couldnt shake the feeling that Eda and Luz still secretly hated him. He sighed as he looked up at the sky of The Boiling Isle. He watched the sunset slowly over the horizon wondering what it was like to have a family considering Belos wasnt much of one. He soon had tears welling up in his eyes as he thought about his mother and what she wouldve been like. He realized she wouldnt have been proud of him for the things he did. He wiped his eyes with his sleeve and sniffled softly

Eda smiled at the small child resting in her arms, she had not anticipated him to adjust to her so quickly and so she had simply sat there, petting her sons head as she waited for him to fall back asleep. As she did so, she made a mental list of the things she would need to get for him when they got back home, new clothes being one. She looked so much like her and his father, it was hard to deny the resembles.

Outside, Luz heard the soft sniffing coming from Hunter, she was still a little worried about him, so asked, "Hunter, are you okay? Do you want to talk about it?"

The small boy fell sound asleep in her arms snoring softly as he did so feeling at ease. He dreamed about laying in a field filled with flowers. He honestly had no idea who this lady was but he felt comfortable around her for some reason and he just couldnt place it. Soon he was taken back to the house and was laying on the couch. As he walked back with Luz HUnter shook his head "N-No I-Im fine" he said shaking his head. He then soon made his way home and sat on a chair on the other side of the room. He watched Eda take care to the boy and then spoke softly as the boy was sleeping "So whats his name?" he asked curiously lifting a brow "I dont think my Uncle ever metnioned naming him" he said. He then started to sip the galss of water he was handed moments ago looking at Eda "I-I'm sure hes very lucky to have you" he said blushing a bit "My mom died when i was a baby" he said "She was very sick" he said "Uncle Belos blames me for it everytime he sees me" he said with a sigh just staring out into space. He remembered all the times Emperor Belos had abused him. and cringed at the thought of it
