David wasn't gone for that long, really only about ten minutes while he read Emily the riot act and pretty thoroughly got rid of her idea that they were 'meant to be together', and as soon as he'd finished that he returned to the bar to find his boyfriend. He was fully expecting Mike to be upset and to have to take time to calm him down and reassure him that things were alright between them, but what he had not expected was to return tot he bar to see that Mike was drinking when he explicitly told him not to. He was beyond upset with Mike in that moment, since the younger man's first spanking had been for underage drinking and David had hoped that one would stick in his mind better but apparently Mike needed a 'reminder' about that and about not doing something that David told him he wasn't allowed to do. When he got to Mike's side he reached out and put a hand on the top of Mike's glass, pushing down to sort of slam it back down to the counter before Mike could take another sip of the beer and he looked at Mike with a clearly annoyed expression. He asked, his voice a bit dark as he did so since he was ticked off now and he wasn't going to do anything to hide it, he wanted Mike to realize that he'd messed up and that he was in trouble.

Mike was just sitting there, staring at his glass when a hand came out of nowhere to cover the top of it and then slam it into the counter, causing the young man to jump slightly and look up to see his not-too-pleased boyfriend glaring down at him. He bit down on his bottom lip and his blue eyes got slightly wide, he hadn't really thought about the fact that David surely would find out that he had been drinking when he got back. "Not to" He said softly when he was asked what David had said about drinking. Oh, he was very much aware that he wasn't allowed to drink, he just hadn't cared that much when he asked Tommy to get him a beer, since he was way too young looking to get one without showing id if he asked himself. Even now he didn't really feel bad about it, he kind of felt that his actions were justified by what had just happened. First he was forced (well, not really forced, but he hadn't wanted to) go to a club when he just wanted to sleep, then they had met his boyfriend's old girlfriend who was completely set on getting him back, then he had been harrassed for his sexual preference by said ex girlfriend, and then, on top of everything, David had gone after her instead of staying with him. If there was one time should be allowed to drink it was now.

David noticed that he'd made Mike jump when he pushed the glass down to the table, but he really didn't care much about that since he was beyond upset with Mike right now and he saw no reason not to let the younger man know that. He asked him what he'd said about drinking, and nodded when Mike softly answered, "So you just decided you didn't have to listen to me anymore? That it Mike?" He asked, sounding clearly annoyed because he just was really annoyed in that moment. He waited a few seconds to give Mike a chance to answer if he was going to before he pushed the beer back towards the bartender and grabbed Mike's hand, giving him a tug to get him to stand up from the stool. "Let's go home." He said, waving to Tommy to let him know they were leaving before leading--or pulling, Mike out of the bar and to their car. He got inside and waited for his boyfriend to do the same before driving home in silence. When they got there he lead the way inside before pointing down the hall. "Our room. Right now. I want you standing in the corner when I get there and if you're not you're just going to make things worse for yourself" He ordered, clearly still upset with his young boyfriend and not going to let this slide.

Mike looked down and bit his lip when David asked if he had just decided he didn't have to listen anymore. He didn't say anything, but yeah, that was kind off it. Right now it didn't seem like such a good idea anymore. He still thought he should be allowed to drink, but now he realised that David was bound to find out, and that he wasn't going to be pleased with him when he did. He also realised that he probably should have listened to David just because it was wrong to disobey him, but he wasn't too keen on admiting that at the moment, not even to himself. He let David take his hand and stood up when he tugged at it, very aware that he was in trouble and he didn't really feel like getting into even more. He let David pull him out of the bar without protesting to resisting, but it was clear that he wasn't exactly eager to leave, so if David had let go of him he had probably stopped walking. He curled up in the carseat and wrapped his arms around himself, sitting in silence for the entire ride. Most of the time he looked out the window to avoid looking at David as the man clearly wasn't pleased with him. From time to time he would peek at him just because he wasn't able to stop himself, but each time he quickly looked away again. When they got home he followed David inside in silence, but stopped to look up at him when he was told to go to their room. "'m sorry Davy" He said softly before lowering his head again going down to their room like he had been told to. Once there he placed himself in the corner, facing the corner this time like David had taught him the last time.

David could tell that Mike realized he was in trouble, and he usually would have tried to reassure the younger man that things were okay but this time he was angry so he just took his boyfriend hand and lead him out of the bar. He glanced at Mike a few times as they drove home but didn't say anything to him and when they got there he told him to head to their room and stand in the corner, and he sighed when Mike softly apologized before walking down the hall. Part of him wanted to let Mike off since he knew it had been a stressful night for him, but a bigger part knew that he coudln't do that since this was the second time he'd had to spank Mike for the same thing and just like when his step-dad did it to him in the past he knew that he needed to be harder on Mike this time to get the point across. So he went to the bathroom where he had an old wooden back hairbrush that was fairly heavy and would hurt more than the spoon he'd used on Mike for the stunt at the zoo. "Don't pull those back up" He ordered, then he walked over to their bed and took a seat, intending on making Mike stand like that for about ten minutes just to make sure Mike felt vulnerable and realized that David was in control here and that David decided how things were going to work.

When Mike heard the door to their bedroom open he turned his head to look at David over his shoulder, his eyes widening with fear and nerves when he saw the hairbrush in his boyfriend's hand. When David headed towards him he quickly snapped his head back around to look at the corner. It probably didn't need mentioning that he was more than a little surprised and pretty much outraged when David reached around him and started unbuttoning his pants. It was probably only the shock of the situation that kept him from trying to slap his boyfriend's hands away. He didn't really have time to prosses what was happening and react before he had his pants and boxers around his ankles, making him blush bright red. Before he had time to try to pull them back up he was told not to and even Mike realised that disobeying in the situation he was in right now was not in his best interest. Instead he pressed his legs together as much as possible and folded his hands in front if himself to hide his private parts, even though there really wasn't much of a point in doing so since he was facing the wall anyway. "David..." He whimpered, still blushing bright red. "I don't wanna... Can't I just... Please?..." He whimpered, squirming slightly, not at all happy with having to stand there half naked.

It wasn't his intention to scare Mike when he brought the hairbrush into the room, and he sort of felt bad about that when he saw Mike's eyes widening when he caught sight of it. If he'd thought it through he would have hidden the brush in his pocket or something but he couldn't change what had already happened so he just set it on the bed and then walked over to Mike to undo his pants. It was a very good thing that Mike did not slap his hands away, since in the mood David was currently in he would have spanked Mike for that before he even got his actual spanking--though it would have been a fairly light hand spanking just as a warning to to balk when he was in trouble. Since that didn't happen he just pulled Mike's pants down and ordered him to leave them like that as he went to take a seat on their bed. "No, Mike. You chose to disobey me now you can deal with the consequences. No talking in the corner." he said, adding a new rule to the corner thing. After ten minutes passed he spoke again, still in the firm 'you will' obey me tone of voice. "Come here Mike" he said, waiting to see if Mike would shuffle over here on his own or if he was going to balk since he was half naked and embarrassed.

When Mike was told no and that he had to deal with the consequences sinse he had disobeyed he gave one more misserable whimper, but snapped his mouth shut when David told him he wasn't allowed to talk, he didn't feel like getting in even more trouble. Now he had one more rule to remember though, and he wasn't exactly happy about it. It seemed like the rules just kept coming and coming and coming, and Mike wasn't a very big fan of them. He leaned forward slightly so his forehead was resting against the corner where the two walls meat, still using his hands to cover himself. For the hour he stood there (Mike was pretty sure it was at least an hour) he stood mostly still because of his embarrassment of having to stand there in the first place, and half naked on top of everything, but he did shift around slightly every now and then. Well, if there had been someone else standing there you probably wouldn't have called it 'mostly still', but Mike wasn't very good at standing still, and taking into concideration that it was Mike standing there and not someone else he was standing 'mostly still'. After ages and ages and ages David finally called for him. The first second he was relieved to be done with the standing in the corner thing, but then he realised that that meant they would be moving on to the next part. Once he realised that he wasn't all that excited anymore. Hesitantly he turned around, his head and eyes lowered and his bottom lip between his teeth. He just stood still for a couple of seconds, seeming to be battling with himself in decided if he should stay where he was or do as he was told, but eventually he shuffled over to David, his head still lowered and his hands still covering himself.

It actually was hard for David to ignore the miserable sounds that Mike was making, since he loved Mike and didn't like upsetting him like this, but he managed to resist the urge to coddle his boyfriend by reminding himself that Mike had disobeyed a very clear rule about drinking and he'd had a really bad attitude with Emily. Though he wasn't sure if he was going to punish Mike for that one yet or not since Mike had a good reason to be upset, David just wasn't pleased with how Mike dealt with his hurt feelings since David expected more self control than that out of his boyfriend. When ten minutes passed he called Mike to him, and watched as the younger man turned to face him without actually looking at him and his heart went out to Mike when he saw how humiliated the young man looked but he once again steeled his resolve and forced himself not to change his mind about punishing the other man. When Mike came over to him he reached out to rub Mike's arm soothingly, as a sort of reward for behaving and because he knew that Mike was likely really upset right now and he wanted to comfort him. "Tell me why you're in trouble Mike, then we'll get this out of the way and it'll be behind us I promise" he said, trying to soothe Mike again but still being firm with the younger man since he thought this was for Mike's own good.

Mike didn't look up when he reached David, but he leaned slightly into the hand that was rubbing his arm, craving the comfort it brought. He didn't look up when his boyfriend spoke either, he just stood there, still looking down, still covering himself, still blushing, and still chewing on his lip. "'cause I drank when you told me not to" He said softly when he was told to tell David why he was in trouble. To Mike that seemed rather pointless, as David obviously already knew why he was in trouble, if he hadn't they wouldn't have been here, would they? Mike still felt the drinking was justified after what had happened with Emily, and he really thought he should be allowed to drink even if nothing had happened, but he did realise that disobeying David was kind off bad.
