Update: Alpha Version 0.0.2 is now available.
This is still a really early and unfinished version with a lot of content missing.
Consider this more of a demo and prove of concept than anything else.
I will keep working on this project and post updates and new versions as I make more progress.
Further updates will of course break save games and just about everything is still subject to change.
In Peachwood Witch Academy you play as a young magic user enrolling in a magic academy for witches and warlocks.
Their goal is both to study and improve their magic and to uncover a dark secret concerning their family.
Over the course of the game, they will meet a variety of characters and experience a lot of events full of spanking and general embarrassment both for themselves and their new friends and rivals.
- New slot based save system
- Selecting a different patron in the patron selection event, should now reset all existing affinity points for other patrons to zero, so you don't get locked into a patron you don't want
- Fixed an issue where some events wouldn't load correctly because they where set to the wrong location.
- Locked gallery entries can no longer be opened by simply clicking on them
- Fixed some interface errors like the gallery screen saying Settings in the header or the save button registering clicks at the wrong position
- Click and hover sounds now play when you hover over or click on an interactive object like a button
- Interface sounds like click and hover can now be adjusted and turned off in the settings, alongside music and sound effects
- Several smaller fixes throughout the game
- New and extended 'Patron Bonding Ceremony' events distinct for each Coven and Patron.
- Added the first two lesson events for all 16 subjects
- Added 'Unlock' Event for Willow
- 3 new spanking event images (with variations)
- 6 new embarrassed nudity focused event images (with variations)
- 2 new general event images
- 4 new background images for the coven bedrooms
- Art for several new characters as well as new expressions and outfits for some existing ones
- 'Cut-In' art for several items during event scenes
- New darker book background as the old one was a little painfully bright on the eyes
- Some small modifications on some old event images
- Gallery function to view unlocked event images
- Simple Textlog function for cutscenes where you can see the last ten displayed entries
- Requirements for choices are now displayed as tooltips instead of in the choice text itself
- Added name, gender and appearance selection to Quickstart option
- (Hopefully) fixed the save problems
- Fixed some typos and script errors in cutscenes
- A mostly completed interface
- Repeatable events for the main gameplay loop
- The majority of the prologue story events up to the pact ceremony
- 5 spanking scenes (F/F and X/F with 2 of them having F/M and X/M variants dependent on main character appearance)
- 2 ENF (Embarrassed Naked Female) scenes
- 9 general nudity and fanservice scenes
- Several non-erotica scenes
This first version contains the majority of the prologue story events as well as some event stubs for the major repeatable events that make up the main gameplay loop.
The prologue covers the intial story of the protagonist arriving at the academy, meeting various characters and learning about what types of lessons are available for students.
The content of this version ends with the pact ceremony event, where the protagonist forges a pact with a powerful ancient being and gets assigned to one of the four covens (like houses from Hogwarts).
I kept going on for a bit after the ceremony until I was sure I reached the end of the content.
I can't wait to see the updates, you laid out a really solid skeleton with a long and interesting story, I was expecting a tech demo of a few minutes from your comments . Well maybe I got it, because hours fled by and it's already late!.

The whole coven with familiars idea sound so cool!
Can't wait to hear my familiar commenting my character's sore bottom! Maybe she can change personality based on our behavior and actions?
Also I suggest to put her in the relationship screen too, maybe events with her in the dorm or even better the bathouse since I saw no events there. I know there is a class for that but i was thinking about relationship/talking, not power.
The gameplay is simple and effective, the sub/dom stats are a classic and clear... hope to use them more in the next episodes!
Something I have not clear is how the coven is chosen and how the stats affect it.... or maybe the coven was based on our choices rather than the stats?
There is a LOT of content among stats, lessons and relationships!
The formula works but I'd love to have some more direction, also seems that some coven are strong in some things and less in others, judging by the color of the lesson in the HUD?
It's great that the skeleton is done, so now you can concentrate with romances, scenes and stories.

My gameplay went as follow:
I chose to go all submissive (like the mage in the police duo, loved it btw), so I started getting endurance to 10 for that bit about "enduring physical pain".
Then I got Empathy to 5 just in case, maybe it would be of use in some scenes.
I got interested in the Obisdian Coven thank to the.... particular decors and teasing cove mistress. Also mental spells, create art and curses, oh great! So I started putting 5 points in "reflexes".
At the cerimony I got.... Allure coven (can't remeber the correct name, I mean the technology/wind one).
Not the one I was aiming but the bathouse prefect is one of them, so I started grinding stuff for her and I "unlocked" her events (I mean, the stub screen for now)
So I didn't get what I was expecting but I was satifisfied.
Favourite chars? (Not in order of preference)
- cave girl (thank you for NOT drawing that albino spider)
- obsidian mistress
- bathouse prefect
- police duo
- vice-president
- homunculus girl (great to have other fantasy races)
- troublesome first year library girl (she is funny)
Another spoiler thing, I hope to get repeatable spanking scenes, both in and out of the romance quests. Maybe you could add a diary so we can repeat the scenes we want with different choices without changing our stats?
(great that you didn't show the mother at the beginning, with the illusion magic she could be any teacher of the school!).
The classes presentation is really long but... it's not your fault, lots of classes and chances to check the character we met exploring. Can't argue with that.
I didn't found any game breaking bug.

Looking forward to this game! ENjoying it so far. I did notice i wasnt able to save.
When i tried, it didnt create a save file. I even tried making an independent folder, but didnt work.
REAlly enjoying the game. Can't wait to see what the unlock scenes are for the characters. Kinda wish we upgraded in the classes faster or didn't go through as many insights, I would spend weeks doing nothing but grinding insights only to complete a couple classes with minimum EXP going towards them. Kinda wish there were more male characters for both spanker/spankee purposes but that's just me. Can't wait to see for the next update.

Concerning the coven selection:
The coven you end up in is indeed chosen by the answers you give in events during the prologue. I tried to come up with choices that reflect their general attitudes. You should be able to get an idea what each coven is about when visiting the four covens and talking to the mentors there for the first time. Basically:
- Answers that favor civilization, community and technology give points toward the Aureate Coven.
- Answers that favor nature, self-reliance and independence give points toward the Emerald Coven.
- Answers that favor order, athleticism and ambition give points toward the Vermilion Coven.
- Answers that favor chaos, freedom and creativity give points toward the Obsidian Coven.
Concerning the EXP mechanics:
The cost of choices and level ups is not really optimized at this point. I will look into that more once I have more content and can see how it feels to play over a longer period of time.
Concerning the lack of male characters:
I do want to add some more male side characters in the future, but the focus will remain on the 12 main witches you encounter early on.
Concerning the length of the class primers:
I do feel like the primers drag on a bit too much at this point and I'm not quite satisfied with their current state. I will probably try to make them a bit more interesting and maybe add some more spicy CG to some of them to make it more fun.
People keep asking for the save file bug, to help CM_ZERO maybe I can tell my experience about it too (found a workaround)
For me the game selected the game folder (the folder with the .exe in it) to save files. I changed the folder to "Documents" for example and checked, the files are there. Loading is fine.
I didn't think much of it since I have a particular setup and I thought it was a matter of writing permission on that particular folder.

For the other people who can't wait for a patch... try changing the saving folder.
I really like what you have created so far and I very much look forward to being able to play more later
I have a bonus bug for the save file thing, while I was able to save in another folder, my name got changed back to default.
And while I agree the primers do drag a bit on, I think that's an easy fix by having some skills test added to the scenes or in between the primers, to start teaching the players about gameplay just so it's not one huge lore dump without any gameplay.
