[I had absolutely not idea what to call it XD]

The moon was high in the sky, the only light that kept the world from going completely dark. There was movement in the small city. Quick, skilled, and seemingly in a hurry. The small girl was trying to find a place to hide. There may have been a few people going after her, accusing her of taking their stuff. But really it never had been theirs. It was all hers. The diamonds, gold-- Okay, so perhaps it wasn't all hers. She just liked the shiny material. No matter though, they were far behind, and a house was coming into view.

The dark haired female jumped into a nearby tree, crawling onto a branch. It was a simpler way to get inside. Pressing her hands on the ledge of the window, she pushed it up. The glass was out of her way and she could get inside the house. Crawling inside, she closed the window again. A sigh escaped her lips, relieved to be under a roof. Now all she needed to do was stay silent.

the house was occupied and the owner hadn't missed the opening of the window, a broad shouldered man with fair hair and a mustache crept down the corridor and grabbed the young female in his strong arms.

So, perhaps this hadn't been her best idea. The small elf let out a quick sound as she was picked up, struggling against the grip. She tried desperately to move away, wiggling around in the other's arms. "L-Let go!" She growled, though it didn't seem as threatening as she had meant it to be.

"Not going to happen." He told the struggling girl "Now you better tell me why you are sneaking in windows before I call the cops?"

The young elf's ears twitched under her hair, hidden from society. "Because, I--" She began, trying to think of an explanation. She couldn't very well say because she was running from a mob of people she had stolen from. "I'm looking for shelter." She said quickly, still trying to get out his grip.

"Why here? there are three or four shelters in the city for girls with nowhere plus a church at the end of the next block." He said dragging her into a room and tossing her roughly in a chair.

"Well, I mean--" She began, wincing as she was thrown into a chair. Rather roughly, if she did say so herself. Her fingers moved through her hair quickly, a nervous habit she'd developed over time. She needed to think of something quick. "They were all full. So, I had to come here? Look. Just, lemme stay here for a few hours and then I'll leave. No harm, no foul."

"N-No!" She nearly shouted, swallowing hard. "D-Don't call the cops. I'll leave, yeah I can do that. Just--don't call them." She didn't want them to take all the stuff that was hers. Well, that she had taken.
