Pokémon: Paldea Life (for Bare Harold)

As the sun rose on the Paldea region and Wattril sung, the day was just getting started for the citizens of the region. One of them was Alex, an inexperienced newbie trainer that was enrolled into the regions most prestigious school by her mother. While she is not happy about this and would much rather travel the world, her mom told her that this is a necessity for her in order to have her permission to travel the world. As Alex can be stubborn, hot headed and a bit ditzy this is her mother’s way to teacher her how to be a trainer.

Alex’s alarm clock is going off, she was fast asleep in her oversized blue nighttime t shirt that goes down to her ankles. He had shoulder length brown hair, freckles on her face and was a bit pudgy in her stomach area. Her partner and starter Pokémon, Tinkatink, was resting in her pokeball as she grew up with Tinkatink after saving her from attacking wild Pokémon one day. While they grew up together, they’re still very inexperienced in battles. Alex continued to prove her mother right as she slept right through her alarm.

Twenty minutes after breakfast was done, Alex's mother realizes that something was holding up her daughter which was a bad thing considering that she had asked a member of the school's student council to show Alex the way to school who should be here any moment. Not wanting to have the person whose taking time out of their day to show her daughter around to wait, Alex's mother goes up the stairs to check on her daughter. "Alex! You're going to be late for your first day!" She cracks the door open and announces to her daughter as she notices her daughter still fast asleep in bed.

As the door was cracked open, Alex groaned at the unexpected noise as she covered up her face with her blanket, exposing her bare feet to the cold air. “Go away…” she said tiredly through her groans. As she moved the blanket, trainer magazines and empty bowls fell to the floor as it was clear she was up all night snacking and reading magazines and surfing on her Rotom phone. As she continued to fall asleep once again, she completely forgot they had a visitor coming

Alex's mother sighed in disappointment seeing the empty bowls and opened trainer magazines leared all over her daughter's bed explaining just why she seems to be so tired. "Alex, You do not have time for this. You're going to be late for your first day of school, and a member of the student council is coming here very soon to help get you there safely. Now unless you want to start your first day with an empty stomach and a sore behind, I suggest you get up right now and start getting ready." Alex's mother warns her grabbing the blanket and pulling it back to reveal the full groggy figure of her daughter.

Alex squeaked as she had her covers pulled off her to reveal her entire frame and sleep attire. She was clearly a mess after not sleeping well all night as there was cookie crumbs all over her mouth and bed sheets. On top of that, empty energy drink cans were revealed with some of the cans spilling a bit on the bedsheets underneath. The sloppy girl was in such a daze that she did not comprehend the trouble she was about to be in so she pushed her mom away with her foot. If she gets delayed anymore, not only will she miss breakfast but she will miss a chance to take a shower. “ Just leave me alone! I don’t even want to go to this stupid school!”

"Oh really? Sweetie have you forgotten your dream of exploring the region with Tinkaton? How are you going to do so while knowing very little about the region and also very little about taking care of yourself and Tinkaton?" Alex's mother continued to scold her moving some of the empty bowls and energy drinks to the nearby trashcan, still trying to wake her daughter up.

“I don’t need to go to stupid school for that! I can take care of myself! Other trainers in my situation don’t need to go to school!” Alex complained in a tired fashion. “And if Tinkatink is naughty, I’ll give her a spanking and that will solve that problem.” She said, still laying down. Unaware that the visitor will be by momentarily

"Well that is nice to hear, At this point, I am more worried about what will happen if you are naughty." Her mother responded. From sleeping in, eating and drinking in her bed, and making a mess, it was clear that Alex would also need someone to look after her.

“I’ll be fine! Now just let me sleep and we can forget about this stupid school idea.” Alex tried to make a case for her not needing the boarding school but with her laziness, the way she takes care of herself and her room; it’s clear that her actions are proving that she may need a firm hands guidance for a bit longer

Now seeing her daughter starting to become lazy and dismissing the idea of her going to school, Alex's mother had reach her limit as she pulls her daughter up from her position only to then take a seat and pull her daughter down over her lap. "Clearly my words are not reaching you, so maybe I should try my hands and see if that has a better effect." She said as she didn't races her dominant hand and brings it down on her backside.
