Pokémon: Transfer Student Stories (for PsychicSevens)

It had been just a few days since the adventure with Koraidon on Area Zero and the Academy Ace Tournament. It seemed like everything had settled down and the adventures were finally over, so Florian was somewhat surprised when Mr. Jacq wanted to make an announcement for his class. Still, he was looking forward to it. He took on his table in the classroom, and silently watched as the teacher began to speak.

"Hello, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls." He said in his always enthusiastic tone. "After the tournament attraction from last week, I am pleased to announce that we'll be receiving a transfer student who moved on to Paldea this week. Her name is Mary Suesanson. Come on, you can come in now!" He shouted to the door as Florian and the rest of the class watching with a smile. It seemed as if everyone was in a good day, and they were looking forward to see what the new girl had to offer. Most of them were saying some stuff like "Unexpected!" or "What a welcome surprise!" while some were looking curious more than anything.

Mary Sue stood outside of Mr. Jacq's classroom. The young lady was anxious—anyone in her shoes would be. It wasn't every day that one transferred to a new school in a foreign region. Mary's grasp on the language was okay—fortunately Paldea was not a difficult language to pick up, and her parents were good at adding natural learning opportunities into day-to-day life. But still Mary couldn't help but be nervous. One of her classmates at her old school had been from Naranja Academy, and she shared horror stories that Mary did not want to experience first hand. No thanks!

Mary's ears twitched at Mr. Jacq's instruction, which pierced through the wall. Mary took in a deep breath and walked into the room. Immediately everyone looked at her. Mary Sue was a young lady with warm, dark chocolate brown eyes and brown hair that reached the middle of her back. Mary adorned the stylish Cyber Style outfit, which gave her a black hat with a yellow PokeBall logo, a black and white jacket with a yellow line in the center, black pants, thick socks, and white and yellow sneakers.

"Please, introduce yourself." Mr. Jacq said, kindly.

"Right." Mary nodded. "My name is Mary, and it's a pleasure to meet you all. I hope we get along." Mary said, her cheeks heating up at all their stares. Mary never considered herself an introvert, but she sure felt like one in this moment.
