Dawn’s words rang true, and Cynthia sighed. She was right, as always. It didn’t change the fact that her schedule just wasn’t flexible, but maybe she could put in more effort. She didn’t want her wife to resent her, and she certainly didn’t want her kid to grow up without a second parent’s guidance, especially since she had been getting in trouble as of late.
