Alessandro was, generally speaking, a charming young man with exceptional talent in the world of music. He’d been classically trained since a young age, and it showed when he took the stage. He has a particular flair for the dramatic which was made only more spectacular by his dark and androgynous features. That flair for the dramatic was also the thing that came up the most when he was acting like a brat who’d never had someone say ‘no’ to them, which just so happened to be the case this evening.

Alessandro was twirling his long dark hair around a finger, sighing dramatically and pouting his pretty lips. It was almost a display of premeditated brattiness because he knew better than to make big decisions alone now that he and his partner lived together. And a purebred puppy was a big decision both financially and in regards to lifestyle…certainly one he shouldn’t have made on his own. Yet, the second the breeder had posted the litter of chow puppies, he’d reserved the fluffiest little black one for when she was old enough to be weaned. It certainly wasn’t as if he or his boyfriend were hurting for money, but he knew that the $3,000 price tag that came along with that particular purchase was liable to cause a fight.

In fact, he knew that so well that he was already fluttering his long eyelashes when the front door opened. He slid up to his feet gracefully and came forward to toss his arms around his boyfriend’s shoulder without a second of hesitation. He was clearly desperate to butter up so he could win the argument through flirting and whining as he usually did instead of have to deal with the consequences of his actions.

“You love me and want me to be happy, right?” Alessandro asked preemptively.

Lorenzo absolutely loved his partner, that much was true, and he absolutely adored keeping him happy, that was also true, but the two had already gone over the rules of their relationship, one of those being that Alessandro was unable to make decisions involving money by himself, especially to things that the pair didn’t need. A puppy was certainly one of those things they didn’t need, and when Lorenzo had gotten the news about the payment he was very much the opposite of a happy, doting husband that he generally was. No, the older man was quite upset with the decision his partner had made, and he was already heading home to deal with him.

As he walked into the front door, Lorenzo would move to place his jacket on the coat hook before feeling his boyfriend’s arms fall around his shoulders. He didn’t answer the question, used to Alessandro’s tactics by this point, and instead snatched up the younger male’s hands in order to guide him over to the living room couch. “Of course I love you dear, but I also love being able to trust you.”

"A puppy will make me so happy," Alessandro insisted with as sugary sweet a tone as he could offer, trying to keep himself looking angelic. He was hoping that it would come across that he wouldn't have possibly done something bad on purpose, but it was becoming very clear to him that Lorenzo had already seen the bank transaction. It probably meant that he'd set up the account to give him alerts for purchases over a certain price, and there was no doubt that this would have far exceeded whatever price he'd set that as.

The younger man did his best to try to argue his case even as he was being guided into the living room for their discussion.

"I get so lonely, and she can keep me company." he explained to him. "And I'm sure she will be a good guard dog when she grows up all the way. She will keep us safe."

That was, of course, laughable. There was no way that any animal that Alessandro got his hands on would have any sort of tendency towards that. He was going to pamper the puppy within an inch of it's life, dress it in little costumes, and give it more love than most people gave to human children. There was nothing that would have encouraged him to let the dog be trained to be a guard dog and they both knew it. Still, he was circling through everything that he could come up with as a good explanation before it came to some inevitable tearful pleading that he really desperately wanted the puppy!

He continued to listen to whatever excuse his partner came up with while they approached the couch. While he had grown used to hearing things such as this from Alessandro, it was still entertaining trying to guess what he’d say next. When they finally arrived at the couch, Lorenzo would take his seat, seating directly in the middle of the furniture while he finally released his hold on his boyfriend, looking up at the man with a none too pleased face, though there was a hint of amusement behind those dark eyes of his. Lorenzo crossed his arms over his chest and shook his head.

“Even if you really did plan to make us her guard dog, which I’m confident you have no intention in doing,” he started relatively calmly. “It still isn’t something you get to decide to do without my approval and you already know that.”

Lorenzo planned on trying to get a refund on the puppy after their conversation, though another idea struck his mind. After some consideration he’d voice his proposition towards the androgynous male. “How about this, you can keep the puppy, however you have to accept whatever punishment I give you. Or you can return the puppy and apologize for being irresponsible with our money.”

Alessandro gave a soft little sigh of relief at hearing his husband agree that they could keep the puppy, even if it had come with a caveat of accepting some punishment or another. He didn't really think too much about that because he suspected that it would be having his spending cut back or something of the sort. And right now, he wasn't as worried about that as he was about ensuring that he'd have his fluffy little puppy cuddled up in his arms every night. The relief of knowing that was going to happen made him all too quick to agree to those terms.

"Yes, anything you want!" Alessandro agreed to him, dropping down onto his lover's knee so he could press a kiss to his cheek. "Anything. I just want to keep the puppy. I know you'll love her just as much as I do."

'Anything' seemed like a reasonable enough statement to make in the moment, because how awful could a punishment from his husband have really been? It wasn't as if he was going to be terribly cruel to him, or as if Alessandro didn't think that he'd be able to beg and plead his way out of anything eventually. It was his usual method, after all, to flutter his eyelashes and let a few tears escape then promise that he'd be good until he thought he'd been fully forgiven. It wasn't the most noble thing about him, but it was the cycle that he'd gotten himself stuck in throughout their relationship.

Anything huh? He wasn’t sure those were wise words to utter from his mouth considering Lorenzo hadn’t even told him what the punishment would be, but there was no chance for him to back out now. Well that made what he was about to do easier because if his lover protested, he could simply use his own words against him. “Well I’m glad you’re so eager to accept any punishment,” he said as his giant hands found his smaller ones yet again. “Because this is something I’ve been needing to do for a while now.”

With those words uttered, he’d start to move the younger man, bending over and having him lie across his lap in a punishment his own father had placed him in when he was younger. Alessandro’s legs now draped across the couch, his middle portion securely placed in the center of the man’s lap while his torso and head were hanging off of the edge.

Alessandro's dark eyes widened as Lorenzo turned him to bend over his lap, making it abundantly clear exactly how he intended to deal with the issue that they were having. Alessandro had never been in this position before because he'd grown up with a foster parent, and loving as they may have been, it had assured that certain parts of his childhood had been very different from typical. In fact, the paternal attitude that Lorenzo had might have very well been what had attracted Alessandro to him in the first place, but it was subconscious enough that he'd never thought about finding himself on the end of a spanking from his husband!

The younger man threw a hand behind himself to try to cover his backside, twisting his shoulders so he could gaze up towards Lorenzo.

"No, no, no! I promise you don't need to do this. I'll listen from now on! I get it!" Alessandro assured his husband, trying to talk him down from delivering on the threat. And that was all that Alessandro was truly taking it as for now; it was an embarrassing threat to get him to pay attention to what was being said. Then later it would turn out to be something that they both laughed at over a drink or two. It couldn't possible be serious, after all...right?

As Alessandro tried to block his behind, he would take his wrist and twist it, pinning it to his back. He wouldn’t be getting out of his punishment that easily, not when Lorenzo finally had a chance to set him straight. As his husband pleaded with him, his calls for mercy would fall upon deaf ears as he worked the male’s pants down with his separate hand, pulling them straight down to his knees before doing the same with his underwear, leaving his lovely behind bare for the world to see. Well, at least for Lorenzo to see. Now this wouldn’t be the first time he had seen his bottom, though it would be the first time he’s ever treated it in a such a manner.

As his giant palms ran against the supple skin of his bottom, he’d give one of his lovely cheeks a possessive squeeze.

“That’s right you will listen from now on, and I’ll be making sure you do,” Lorenzo smirked as he continued to grope at his behind. As he finished having his fun, he’d lift his hand in the air before letting his palm crash down upon his bare rump, giving the first of many hearty slaps to his delicate cheeks.

Alessandro jerked forward at the slap to his backside, shock written all across his face at the warmth and sting of the smack. It should have been obvious that it would hurt to be spanked, but somehow it still came as a surprise to him that he was left smarting already. The fact that his pants and underwear had been pulled all the way down to his knees only made it so much worse, because it meant the cool air of the room was dancing across that same heated backside. A little whimper escaped him already and he wiggled to try to free himself from the hold.

"Oooh!" He whined at his husband, "Please! This is enough. I understand that I wasn't behaving right, but you don't have to do this!"

The fact that he was doing it, though, did make Alessandro very aware of exactly how different their roles had always been. It wasn't unusual for the younger man to turn to his husband for advice, to get his tears dried by him, or to generally anticipate that the other would be able to solve all the problems that they faced. It had always been their way and this wasn't so far from an extension of those things, even if he'd have very much liked it to have been! This spanking was just one more example of the fact that the other man had often had to fill the role of a 'daddy' like figure for him.

As his hand left bottom, a pink handprint was left behind in its wake. Well that was delightful, now to provide several more. As Lorenzo started to build up a pattern, he’d hum to himself, finding amusement in striking his husband’s bottom like the little boy he was being.

“I do indeed have to do this, otherwise you won’t learn,” he told him, holding on to him to keep him from escaping his well earned spanking. “Now hold still so I can warm up this bratty behind of yours, otherwise we’ll be here longer than we need to.”
