Jim bit the inside of his mouth when Spock smacked the small child and he was holding back on going into a shouting rave. Hitting kids was wrong....he knew it and he was going to talk to Spock after he was done! He shook his head and carried Sulu out the room, "Shhh.....he's gonna be okay......" he said softly, nuzzling him.

Spock sighed, sensing the distaste from Jim but he continued to smack the small bottom firmly, but not being too harsh given the child's age and size. "No little one, it is not for you to like, now, what did you do that was naughty Leonard, can you remember?"

Sulu blinked in alarm when Jim left the room, trying to squirm down so he could go save his new friend from the mean man who was hitting him. "No! He ith being hit!" He wailed, trying to go back. "We have to thave him!" Hikaru said, tears brimming in his own eyes. "You hath to help him!"

Bones wailed loudly at his little bum was smacked, not noticing the force behind the spanks had been reduced. "Hurtttts!" He sobbed, kicking his little legs weakly. "Pushed! And was bad!" Bones howled, just wanting the spanks to stop. "Plleeease no more spank!"

Jim shook his head and held Sulu close to his chest, rocking the upset little boy. "I love you little Hikaru, and I love Leo too, you're both important to us...he is going to be alright, don't worry." he whispered and kissed his head. "Would you like some lunch?"

"Yes Leonard, that is correct." Spock answered gently and lessened the force of the spanks a little more. "Now, can you say that you are sorry?" he asked, spanking the small chubby under curve. Spock planned on stopping the spanking when Bones apologized, because the lesson would have been learned.

Hikaru Sulu was not very appeased by the rocking, still clearly able to hear Bones' wails in the other room. "But he ith being hurt!" He wailed himself, not understanding why this man was letting the other hit his friend. "I want Leo!" Sulu sobbed, using Jim's shirt to mop up the little one's tears.

Bones howled as his little bum was spanked in the sensitive area where his bottom met thigh, trying to get away. "I is sowwy! Sowwwy!" He wailed loudly, going limp over the Vulcan's lap.

Jim sighed, hardening his heart to so many noises going through the halls at that time, Bones' crying, Hikaru's crying, the smacks.....he didn't know what was worse. "L-Leo will be okay Hikaru, shhh." he whispered, carrying him into the kitchen.

Spock stopped the spanking at and instant and picked up the small child, holding him close to his Vulcan chest. "Hush now child, all is well, and you are good." he assured, rocking him back and forth to soothe him. "You are forgiven for what you did, and you are loved very much." he brushed the tears away from the sad little face and rubbed the sore bottom.

Sulu was a bit occupied with Leonard's cries rather than his own, clinging to his new caretaker and hugging Jim's arms. He shook his head, whimpering softly when the smacking sounds stopped. "I wanna go home..." Hikaru said softly, hiding his face.

Bones sobbed into Spock's chest, glad to have comfort from someone even if it was the person who had just smacked his little bottom. He didn't quite understand why Spock said he was loved, and he sniffled before letting out a soft whimper. "You hitted me...don' loves me..."

Jim sighed, that little whimper breaking his heart. "I'm sorry Hikaru, but this is your home now..." he said gently and carried him back into the living room to prove to him that Leo was okay, and also to prove to himself. "We both love you B-...Leonard, so very much..."

"Indeed child, hush now. I love you, and that is why I spank you, I wish for you to behave and be happy...you must not be naughty little one, it was dangerous what you did. I do not desire for you to be hurt." Spock explained, rubbing the sore little bum.

Hikaru whimpered again, trying not to look up at the man who was trying to be so nice to him. "I...I want..." He said, unsure what exactly what it was he wanted. Sulu saw his little friend was crying, before sniffling once again. "Why loveth uth? Don' knowth uth."

Leonard was sobbing into the soft fabric of Spock's shirt, trying to stop his tears but that did not seem to be happening. He calmed slightly, peeking shyly up at the Vulcan who had spanked him. "Didn' wanna bes naughty..."

Jim swallowed hard and looked down at the small Hikaru, remembering the time he'd saved the pilot's life before he smashed into the surface of the Vulcan planet. "Because you are our children, and we are a family. We love you both unconditionally." he said softly, sitting down beside Spock and reaching out to wipe away Bones' tears.

Spock nodded his head, looking down at the small child. Was this really the irritating Doctor he once knew? This new form made him seem to be so fragile...so innocent and yet naughty. "I know child, calm yourself, all is done." he assured and then reached out to cup one of Hikrau's cheeks, wiping away a left behind tear with his thumb. "All is well once more."

Sulu had no memories of the times he and Jim had spent together, seeing as it would be years before he even met Jim going by his age. He looked up at the blonde, snuggling closer to Jim but looking warily over at Spock. "But...no look like you..."

Leonard didn't have any thoughts in his mind other than that his bottom hurt reaaaally bad. He pressed his face into Spock's chest, sniffling as he looked over to his new little friend. "Didn' meanna be bad..." Leonard said softly, glancing up at Jim.
