A Proper Upbringing {for Garry}

Judging by the way that Vincent had acted after his teasing comment Asher really had concluded that the lord was angry with him so he asked about it and gave his reasons for having assumed that. His green eyes were focused on the man as Vincent stood there and seemed to nibble on his bottom lip, the boy a bit startled when the man reached a hand out and patted him on the head. He nodded his head slightly when Vincent said that he wasn't angry and then once again asked him if he wished to play chess.

After a short moment of thought on the matter Asher nodded his head slightly as he replied, "I would like that." He was admittedly sort of fond of the game and the offer to play was definitely not something that he would have expected from his guardian however that didn't mean that it was a bad thing, it was actually quite welcome.

The young lord did take note of the fact that Asher was much more soft spoken when he was nicely interacting with him. "So this is must be how he acts around her." Vincent thought to himself,remembering his Julia would always say that Asher is a good kid,now it was possible for him to believe that as well once he stopped being to picky and more understanding with the child.

"Alright,come along." he told him softly and walked with the boy to the library where they were keeping the chess table.Julia was reading there so a warm smile appeared on her face when she saw Vincent come with the boy and sit at the chess table.She felt proud of him,of both of them actually. It's been quite a while since Vincent last spared some of his time on chess so this should be interesting,either way,he wasn't trying to hard.

Asher looked up at Vincent when the man beckoned for him to come along, the boy wondering where it was that the two of them were going to go. He didn't ask that question and instead just followed him along and soon enough their destination was readily apparent. Asher gazed around when the two of them entered the library and he offered Julia a slight smile before he followed Vincent over to the table where the chessboard was already set up. The boy sat down across from his guardian and looked at Vincent, the boy waiting for his guardian to say something if he were going to, the boy looking as though he were anticipating this little game between the two of them. And he was excited since it wasn't often that he had anyone to play with so Asher was looking forward to it.
