Proposal: Pictures uploaded in a sequence by an artist should be significantly and appreciably different from each other, or limited to three images.

Recently, resident uploaders will find that every once in a while that their contributions are pushed off page by 4 or more images of superficial difference. This act would bring an end to that by placing limits on the amount of 'alike images' an artist could upload. This does not affect comic pages or sequences of noticeable difference.

Or option c) "this rule is irrelevant." No one gets bumped off the front page these days. The amount of time a picture stays there is set in stone. If people post successive uploads, the resident artist's section expands accordingly.

You see, this is why proposals are usually debated and put out for consultation. To gauge strength of feeling and desire for a new rule before going straight for a vote~

i agree with Dr Weird. about rule being irrelevant. How does system/server tell which as small changes and big changes when someone upload them anyways. Is that limit 3 per what?

The problem of multiple versions with minor modifications is that it makes otherwise good picture feel cheap. But if artist wants to rape their own pictures, just let them. It's their own problem.
